Story
Diesel is a happy, loving boy who overcame a rough start after being abandoned by his first owners. He has a clean bill of health and has been an amazing companion. I unfortunately have been diagnosed with cervical cancer and can't care for him any longer due to my declining health and doctors schedule. He gets along well with other dogs, is friendly and submissive, loves to cuddle, and enjoys just being with his humans and sitting at your feet. He walks well on a leash, knows basic commands (sit, off), sleeps on his bed through the night, and is not food aggressive—he is naturally protective of his owner. Diesel is just over a year old, good with kids (best with older kids due to jumping when excited), he does have separation anxiety, so he shouldn’t be left alone often. He is not altered. Adoption fee: $350 and is negotiable for right fit. He needs an active attentive experienced owner, he is super smart and will be an easy train. On a farmers dog diet, will come with months worth.

Story
Please share far and wide and let’s get this kid adopted by a wonderful family! Thank you for helping to save a dog’s life! *** Riesling Riesling is an adorable puppy, 6 months. She loves her humans so much and will always greet them with a big smile and some tail wags. She enjoys taking walks around the neighborhood, exploring new places and going on car rides. Riesling gets along well with small, gentle animals but prefers the company of her people. She has an endearing personality, loves cuddles and belly rubs, and is a great snuggler. When not melting hearts for a treat, she can be found inspecting the perimeter of the garden and sniffing around outside. Riesling loves nothing more than spending time with her family and will always be a faithful companion. Riesling weighs 17 lbs., is microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date with all of her shots. Google says her breed blend is a Jack Russell Terrier and a little Heinz 57 mixed in. All we know is that she is a bundle of sugar wrapped in an adorable fur package. If you are interested in submitting an adoption application for Riesling, please email: info@KenMarRescue.org and write “Request for application for Riesling,” in the subject line. Thanks for checking out Riesling’s profile and submitting an adoption application. *** Ken-Mar Rescue is a 501c3 charitable organization. Donations go towards the care and feeding of our orphans. The adoption donation is $500 and used directly to save future orphans. Application review is followed by a phone call if approved. Home checks are done via FaceTime or Zoom prior to each adoption. *** More about Ken-Mar Rescue - TV Appearances: Our orphans have been featured on various shows such as this one, K9 Corner, and consistently invited to "Good Day LA" Pet segments: https://youtu.be/7ZQJZ8Um-Jo *** Ken-Mar Rescue Yelp Reviews https://yelp.to/dr4UlKdAmF *** Additional Media: Somewhat dated video about us.  Ken-Mar Rescue has saved close to 2,000 lives since our founding in 2007 https://youtu.be/R-mnilY2Yik?si=XyQUrv3ar67EmEgg Please note: ❤️We prefer ADULTS, no small kids, (gentle, animal-friendly/respectful teens ok).   ❤️We prefer HOME OWNERS with a SECURED YARD. ❤️We will ask you about your Succession Plan.  Meaning, in the event that you are no longer able to provide for your new family member: who will get the dog, where is this stated in writing, etc. The Successor person will be asked to participate in the adoption process (zoom calls, in-person meeting, etc.) so they are part of the decision-making from the beginning and are aware of the orphan’s needs. ❤️We are located in Northern California, 2.5 hrs east of San Francisco(on the way to Yosemite). Please consider transportation logistics to meet (and possibly adopt) your new family member. Also, if things do not work out, how please bear in mind that you would be responsible to return the orphan back to us. ❤️Vet, petsitting and future medical expenses for the life of the pet will be your responsibility. As pet parents, please consider these commitments before applying.

Story
Tuco is an energetic 6-year-old small spaniel mix. He’s sweet, affectionate, and loves people—he’ll happily sit in your lap for hours and soak up all the pets you can give. Some highlights about Tuco: Potty trained (just fixed, so he’s wearing a belly band to prevent licking) Walks well on leash with no pulling, and stays calm around other dogs Enjoys brisk 30-minute walks, then he’s ready to relax Good with older kids (like 12+) but may play bite or jump, so he’s probably best in a home without small children Quiet pup—he’s only barked once (for an Amazon delivery!) He’s ready to find his forever home just in time for the holidays. While we usually focus on Cocker Spaniels, every dog is precious—and Tuco is looking for a family who will adore him as much as he adores them.   ##2568399##

Meet Scully! He is a sweet boy with a full tail. We think he is a lab/cocker mix, with a Lab body and cocker coat. We don't understand why Scully is still with us He should have been adopted a long time ago. We just love this boy! Scully is a ball-playing fool. He loves attention, tons of pets and cuddles. He also loves to rough house and play with the other dogs. Scully is ready to branch out to a foster or adoption home where he can get all the attention and love he deserves. He is an active boy and would enjoy an active home with loads of fetching in his future. Scully is currently in Jamestown. His fee $100. ##1357705##
