This affectionate girl adores people of all ages and seems to get along well with both dogs and cats. Princess is smart and eager to please—she already knows how to sit and shake, loves a good game of fetch, and is always up for a car ride adventure. When playtime is over, she’s happiest stretched out next to you with her favorite chewies, soaking up love and attention. She was at risk at the Oakdale shelter due to her long stay, but now she’s safe with us and has been the sweetest companion since day one. We can’t wait to see her find the forever family she deserves. Princess is available for adoption—but she would also love a foster home while she waits for the perfect match. Dahlia Marie is a beautiful 7-year-old black Australian Kelpie with a gentle soul and a loyal heart. She currently lives on a ranch in Escalon and is used to having space to explore and relax. Dahlia can be a little shy around men at first, but she warms up quickly with patience and a few tasty treats. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality really shines. She is wonderful with kids and truly phenomenal with female dogs. With male dogs, she can be a bit assertive, so slow introductions or a female companion would be ideal. Her owner is facing a time-sensitive situation and needs to find Dahlia a new home before the end of the month. A loving foster home would also be a huge help while she waits for her forever family. Dahlia would thrive in a calm, understanding home where she can feel secure and loved. Surprised you didn't I! Ok, now a little about me. I like to have my ball thrown for several hours a day. My favorite game is a combination of fetch and keep away, and I call it Fetch-A-Way. See, that is where you throw the ball for me, and I bring it back and push for you to throw it again, and when you finally give in, I grab it and run. Oh, it's so much fun. I’m a terrier mix about 3 years old, so I have lots of energy and boy can I jump. I like to give kisses and get belly rubs. Like most dogs that find themselves in my position (a rescue), It is through no fault of my own. However, this has led me to be cautious, so remember, while you are interviewing me, I am interviewing you. Let's try to see what could be, not what was. My foster mom says it would be best for me to be in a home without other dogs, and cats. She also recommends no children under 10. We prefer Tito to be adopted by a single person or retired couple as he would make a great companion dog. Tito is neutered, vaccines are up to date, and house trained. Potty training is a work in progress, he will need consistency with his potty training, and will need a little work on his behavior training.
