Story
Marty proves that age is truly just a number. At eight years young, he still has an impressive amount of energy and enthusiasm for life. He’s absolutely obsessed with the ball—so much so that he tends to love it to pieces. Despite his playful, high-energy side, Marty is also a total gentleman. He’s wonderfully versatile and has some truly endearing habits—like making his own bed. Yes, really. He’ll carefully pull the blanket off his Kuranda bed, lay it neatly on the floor, and settle in on top like a proper professional. It’s as impressive as it is adorable. Marty loves enrichment toys and will instantly declare you his best friend if you hand him a Kong. He’s also enjoying scent work training and putting his nose to good use—just be sure to hide treats, not balls, in the boxes. This clever, charming boy is ready to bring both fun and heart into his next home.

Story
Don’t let Yarrow’s beefy muscles, serious ears, or tough-guy expression fool you—he’s really just a big goofball waiting to make you laugh. High-energy and eager to please, Yarrow flashes the biggest grin when he knows he’s done a good job. Once he gets to know you, he’ll quickly become your biggest fan and loyal sidekick. In playgroups, he’s the life of the party—bouncy, respectful, and always up for a chase. Despite his solid stature, he’s wonderfully considerate with smaller dogs. Yarrow has also been working with the behavior team and making great strides. He knows his perch, cone, heel, and spin. And in classic Yarrow fashion, if he’s not in the mood to train, he’ll happily camp out on his perch with a huge smile until he’s convinced it’s time to learn again. If you’re looking for a workout buddy, a comedian, and a best friend all rolled into one, Yarrow is your guy.

Story
Kindred has quickly become a favorite with both staff and playgroups—and it’s easy to see why. She’s incredibly patient and wonderfully versatile in her play style, which makes her one of the shelter’s best playmates. She has just the right amount of pep, but Kindred also truly enjoys her downtime. Naps and bedtime are important to her, and she loves curling up into the tiniest little ball to relax. On walks, Kindred’s excitement shines through, sometimes bubbling over into full-on zoomie mode. With her perfect balance of playfulness, patience, and charm, Kindred is the kind of dog who fits in anywhere and makes everyone around her smile.
