Story
Meet Rey! He is currently 6 weeks old, and we think he may be a Black Lab/Shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Rey's video here: Rey is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! Rey is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/672f8699ff84eaf54d083ba1 Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Halo is a sweet and gentle pittie with a knack for making friends with other dogs. During her assessment, she met a variety of dogs and demonstrated her respectful nature. Whether it was a calm male dog or a more assertive female, Halo approached each interaction with a calm demeanor and a friendly attitude. She even formed a special bond with another affectionate male dog, proving her ability to connect with others who share her easygoing personality. https://youtu.be/4J9t_6hbWEg Halo’s love for people is evident in her interactions. She is quick to offer gentle kisses and thrives on affection. Her lower energy level makes her a perfect candidate for a home with another low-energy dog, where she can enjoy a relaxed and loving environment. Halo has impeccable manners, showing she’s well-behaved and respectful. Although she’s not yet accustomed to sitting on the couch, her gentle nature suggests she would make a fantastic cuddle buddy once she gets the hang of it. Halo’s ideal home would be one where she can enjoy quiet companionship, whether it’s snuggling with her favorite people or sharing space with a laid-back canine friend. Halo would make a wonderful apartment dog due to her excellent leash skills and low energy level. Alternatively, she would thrive in a home with a family. Whether in an apartment or a family home, Halo’s loving personality and respect for others make her a great addition to any household. Needs experienced adopter,
Story
HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON! I'M MARCY! I'm a sweet and lovable 8-year-old female red & white Pit Bull Terrier in need of a new home. There are a few things you should know about me. First, I truly do prefer to be an only dog, though would likely do well with a male pal, as I had one before. But I love people and am very loyal. I also love being petted, rubbed and given lots of affection. Secondly, I was attacked by another dog about a year ago and lost part of my nose, but this does not impact me one bit. I only look a little funny but it doesn't change my lovable personality. I have been waiting a long time for a home because apparently, nobody wants a funny looking dog who would love to be the only dog in the home. So if you can look past my imperfections, I would love to be your companion. I'm still very active and would be happy to go for walks and hikes. Can you foster or adopt me? I am currently looking for a foster or forever home. I would do best in a home with a person, couple or family with teenage kids. I weigh 64 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
Lorelei is exactly why rescue is our favorite breed- look at her! She is a perfect mash-up of dog breeds and is uniquely perfect! She is a little-bitty shepherd mix girlie, small in every sense with the softest floof. She is estimated to be 1 year old, barely out of those puppy days. In rescue, age and breed are observations, never guarantees, but it is especially true with Lorelei because few all see a little something different in her unique looks. She has the absolute cutest combination of features with a wonderful personality to match. Take a look and see her for yourself https://youtu.be/Lz-sD3tPTgQ Lorelei was introduced to a variety of dogs and she was friendly and playful with them all, from small to large, the most natural connection being with a similar aged playful dog. Lorelei can initially come across as shy with people but once you spend time with her you realize it is simply her ease. She isn’t bouncy and overwhelming in an effort to make a connection, she is peaceful in your company, no need to be pushy or demanding. She has been fortunate enough to have a loving foster home where she showed her ease with children and a variety of animals from a parrot to a bunny rabbit and another dog. Although she doesn’t live with a cat, she was introduced to one and was just as easy-going. The cat felt so comfortable with her that he didn’t even swat him when she wanted to smell him and he almost immediately laid down near her. She is an ideal addition for a multi-pet home and would especially love a similarly playful dog. Her foster family has shared that she is house and crate trained. We always expect a new dog to need a tour of the appropriate potty spaces once they get home, and maybe a reminder or two but this girl has a wonderful base. Thanks to her size and personality, Lorelei would make a great apartment/condo girlie. Of course if you have a yard, she is ready to explore it and will often be found lounging outside, content to soak up the sun and feel the breeze. If you have any questions about Lorelei or would like us to test her for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure she is the correct fit for you and your life! Be assured though, she is an obviously unique cutie that will be adopted so fast because of that, do not hesitate to make the first move to make it official. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
