Story
Cooper is currently enrolled at the Best Chance Adoption Program at LCMHF. His handler had this to say about him:`Well, hello there, you ole` whipper snapper, My name`s Cooper and I am an 8 year old Aussie/Collie mix. I may not be a young un` anymore but I still love to run after tennis balls, frisbees, or anything else you can throw for me to chase and catch. My favorite pastime, however, is to snuggle up with you on the couch. I know a few commands and tricks and I`ve been around and seen some things. I get along well enough with older dogs, especially the ladies, but I don`t know how to act well around cats so I would prefer a home without them. I also enjoy playing and laying in the mud and enjoying the outdoors as long as the weather is right. If you would like to give this old-timer a home then come on down and meet me! I promise I`m worth it!`Photos taken at Camp Pawnee by a volunteer who absolutely adores him and spends as much time as she can with him.

Story
Hi! I`m Cassius! I am a fun-loving Bulldog mix who is looking for a forever family for my sister and I. We both love to roll in the grass and chase a ball (butterflies are also fun to chase)! Evening snuggles on the couch are a must (we don`t shed too much; we promise)! My sister is kind of an attention hog but that`s okay because she deserves all the love she can get. Since she only has three legs, I don`t go far so I can always be there to help her. We promise to always love you as much as we love each other! We also enjoy the company of humans, all ages and sizes, and we like other dogs and cats.

Story
Goldie is currently enrolled in the Best Chance Adoption Program at LCMHF. She knows how to sit, stay, walk on a leash well, and she can shake and give hugs! She`s an amazing gal! This is what Goldie`s handler has to say about her: `Goldie loves water, food, and people of all ages and sizes. She plays well with people and other dogs. She is the same dog everyday. She is fun and energetic and always happy and hasn`t been aggressive to anyone. She loves to run and chases butterflies, birds, and anything that moves in the grass. She loves to play with other dogs and is great with all other dogs she meets. She is a very smart dog. She sits well and heels well while walking. IF YOU WANT A GOOD DOG, GOLDIE IS IT!!!!!`Goldie does have a minor heartworm infection and will need to be on Heartgard (or similar product), a relatively inexpensive monthly heartworm preventative, for the rest of her life.

Story
Julio is pretty coolio! He`s a handsome and sweet Collie mix. He walks well on a leash and is really gentle, calm, and laid back. He does well with other dogs, cats, kids, and adults. He`s a really clean and well-behaved gentleman who would do well in a variety of homes. He is aggressive to llamas who spit in his face and doesn`t seem to like large cattle very much.
