I do know the command 'sit' and am VERY treat motivated! But even with all the snacks, I think I have stayed pretty fit and trim. I would do well in a home that is willing to be patient and work with me to become the good girl staff know I can be! I am spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go home with you!

I do know the command sit and will graciously take treats whenever offered (how do you think I got this big and strong?). I love people but I can be a little picky about my animal friends so staff suggest that I go to an only pet home or have a meet and greet with any existing pets in the home. Hi, I'm Milo! I recently got to move to foster, which has been so great for me! Foster mom says that I am potty trained and crate trained, and will go to my kennel when I am told and don't make a peep. I have done very well with other dogs in and out of the shelter, even my older canine foster brother. Upon meeting the family cat, I took a good sniff but moved on to more interesting things. I take a little bit of time to warm up and can be on the shy side, but once I know you're here to love and comfort me, I can't get enough! I likely had a rough past before coming to AWOL, so it is important that whoever takes me home understands the time and patience I may need to become the best version of myself, but I'm already working super hard at it!

Hey, I'm Whiskey! Unfortunately, this is round 2 for me here at AWOL. I was adopted once but then got lost and was supposed to be taken care of by a friend when I was found. Someone found me wandering again, but this time they refused to come get me. So here I am hoping that someone will choose me forever this time. I need a little work on my manners, especially learning not to jump. But I can't always help that I get excited to see people, especially when I spend most of my time locked in a kennel. I know I can be a good boy, I just need time, patience, and the right person/people!
