Story
Goose is a reservation rescue who chose us while he was just a puppy. Over the past 3 years he has been nothing but loving to our growing family, he’s great with kids. Unfortunately he is big, black, and his hair stands up on the back of his neck when he is scared… so he scares people. Admittedly we have not given him the time or effort he needs to work through this, and we don’t have the time or effort to give to him at this busy stage of life. He loves to play tug, play with other dogs, and is a great big snuggler. He rings bells when he needs to go out to potty, but will occasionally potty in the house if left alone for too long. He has a thing for tearing up plastic grocery bags, zip lock bags, and anything silicone, but no furniture or shoes! We are really going to miss our big guy, but he deserves better than us!

Story
Ringo's "dad" died last year and his "mom" is expiring soon from a battle with cancer. Ringo has two other dogs he has lived with. They all spent most of the time indoors and used to having human companionship almost all the time. He would not do well on his own in a back yard. Plays well with other dogs. He is not mean. He loves attention. He is about four years old. He is Akita/Blue Heeler mix. He has a Golden Lab sister, Amarillo, who also needs a good home.

Rusty is a 6 year old red nose heeler mix. He gets along with other dogs/tolerates them (has not bitten). He is anxious around children and has snapped at, but not drawn blood, at children when the children are excited and he gets super anxious. He is a very vocal dog and will howl when he gets excited. He is house trained and kennel trained, lots of energy. He hates bathes and will whine/howl through it, but does not bite. Great dog that just needs room to run.

Story
Mocha is a sweet girl who loves nothing better than sitting in your lap and being with her people. She seems content to be a couch potato, is house broken, is very quiet and has not destroyed a single thing in the 2 1/2 months that we have had her. We adopted her from a shelter when her former owner surrendered her with an eye injury that resulted in her eye having to be taken out. We suspect that she was not exposed to much in her first two years as most experiences seem new to her. We know she is scared of loud noises and she doesn't seem to do well in the dark either. She has been getting E-collar training and is doing well but is stubborn as is typical of her breed. She seems to get along well with dogs outside of the home in neutral territory. Inside the home she tries to be dominant with other dogs and engages in resource guarding. She will need somebody with experience dealing with these issues. We are happy to discuss everything we've learned about her in our time together.
