Story

Goose is a reservation rescue who chose us while he was just a puppy. Over the past 3 years he has been nothing but loving to our growing family, he’s great with kids. Unfortunately he is big, black, and his hair stands up on the back of his neck when he is scared… so he scares people. Admittedly we have not given him the time or effort he needs to work through this, and we don’t have the time or effort to give to him at this busy stage of life. He loves to play tug, play with other dogs, and is a great big snuggler. He rings bells when he needs to go out to potty, but will occasionally potty in the house if left alone for too long. He has a thing for tearing up plastic grocery bags, zip lock bags, and anything silicone, but no furniture or shoes! We are really going to miss our big guy, but he deserves better than us!

Seeking a loving home in a rural setting as on only pet. Brawn is a loyal companion who deeply enjoys spending time and engaging with his humans. He is a curious and intelligent fellow, learning quickly with routine and positive reinforcement. Although stubbornness and independence can be part of his programming, continued training would alleviate any obstacle. Much of his background is unknown. He joined our household as a foster after being abandoned by previous owners. Months of training, routines, and many slow introductions, he still prefers and will do best in a cat/small-pet free placement. Because of his past circumstances and to insure his best future self, we will ask for several meet and greets from potential adopters to determine compatibility. Willow joined our family as a puppy in early 2020 and has been an absolute joy ever since. She is a happy, gentle, and affectionate girl who wins over the heart of almost everyone she meets. Her favorite things in the world are simple: pets, snuggles, and being right by your side. As our family has grown to include three active kids in travel sports, along with our work schedules, our home has become constantly on the go. Willow loves human companionship above all else, so being left home alone for long workdays or frequently boarded while we travel for sports has become hard on her. When left alone for extended periods, she experiences separation anxiety, as she truly thrives when she has a buddy to hang out with. Rehoming Willow is a heartbreaking decision for us, but we know she deserves more time, presence, and attention than our current lifestyle allows. She will make an incredible, devoted companion for someone who spends plenty of time at home or wants a loyal buddy.

This is Rex. He is about 2.5 years old. My son got him from YVAS in Nov. 2024. He is a Lab mix and we think the other part is Belgian Malinois because of some of his features and behaviors. He has been around young children and another dog the entire time we have had him. My 3 year old granddaughter takes food out of his mouth and then feeds it back to him piece by piece. He want to play with cat but the cat doesn't like him. He is full of love and lots of energy. He is very smart and would thrive with one on one attention and instruction. He is very interactive. My son's living arrangements have changed so he can't keep both dogs. I am too old and work too much to be able to give him the attention he needs and deserves.
