Story
Say hello to Chili! This pretty girl was taken into the rescue after a good samartan alerted us to her situation. Chili and her 3 puppies were living outside on the Crow Indian Reservation. Upon joining the rescue, Chili was very uncertain and shy. She is still quite frightened and needs a foster or adopter who understands that she needs a home to decompress. Chili is loving  being an indoor dog and her foster mom can leave her free roam when she goes to work. She monitors Chili and the 2 male dogs as well as the cats and everyone does just fine! Most often Chili can be seen napping on the sofa or her favorite dog bed. Chili has been such a wonderful, devoted mama to her babies and now it's her turn turn to be nurtured. She is a little rough around the edges but there is a sparkly diamond in there just waiting to emerge. Chili needs a safe home to just enjoy being a family companion instead of a breeding machine. The vet estimated her to be around 5 years of age and she weighs 45 lbs If you are interested in adopting please complete an application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and dewormer.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  We make every effort to ensure the dogs are health ##1878487##

Story
If you like big mutts and you cannot lie, then Bosco is your guy! This larger than life boy is around 2 years old and weighs in at 85 lbs. He brims with love for people and a sense of adventure. This boy is potty trained, stays in a crate when his people are away, and would love a fenced yard. Boscoe is great with kids as he has been around babies and toddlers his whole life.  Here is the latest update from his foster! Bosco is doing well he is very good in the house. He hasn't gotten into anything he's not supposed to! He is so well behaved he get to accompany his foster mom to work some days and naps contently on his dog bed. Such a good boy! Additionally, Bosco is really good walking by himself but wants to be in front and can pull a little when walking with another dog.  Bosco is a really easy dog ot have!! He is settling in well and we have started working on long lead recall outside as well as down and stay all of which he is picking up really quickly. Great dog who has adapted quickly and loves playing with my other male dog. When playtime is done and it’s time to relax, Boscoe is all about cuddling. The vet thinks he might be a Greater Mountain Swiss mix. If you are interested in meeting him please complete an application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and dewormer. Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. ##1396078##

Story
This handsome pup is Peter!  Being a ~8.5 month old puppy, Peter is a very active curious little guy and while he is happy and content in his familiar surroundings, Peter can be reticent in some new situations. He absolutely adores his people and is quite devoted. He is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. He’s very treat motivated and will sit and take the treats very nicely.  Being the friendly dog that he is, Peter does not have any food guarding. He will sleep in a crate or in bed with someone. He prefers the bed but will go in his crate when you tell him it’s time to go to bed.  He doesn’t like doggy day care and dog parks scare him – too much noise, people and other dogs.  He is current foster home has two children, 8 and 4 and he adores them!   He’s still unsure when he meets new people and other dogs and doesn’t like it when people reach out to pet him or grab him. Or, when dogs get up in his face.  He wants to initiate contact.  He will bark at strangers when they come into your house, he’s not aggressive, he’s afraid. He loves to play fetch – well he loves to chase the ball; he hasn’t mastered bringing it back yet.  Squeaky toys are his favorite.  Stuff toys get taken apart and stuffing is spread everywhere!  He does have a lot of energy but is great at snuggling too! He can be a little “mouthy” when he plays. Zoomies in the backyard are really fun!  He likes the snow and the water.  Likes to haul sticks around. Hauls his blankets around sometimes.   He doesn’t chew on clothes or shoes.  He’s very excited to play and be up and running around in the mornings!  Get him to focus on you, and make him sit and he calms down.  He doesn’t really know how big he is and sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog.  If you are interested in adopting please complete an application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and dewormer.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  We make every effort to ensure the dogs are health ##1820664##

Story
Meet Rocco! This handsome fella is a total sweetheart!! He is gentle, affectionate, house-trained, excellent with other dogs and eager to please his humans!  Don't let his photos fool you - Rocco is happy and so sweet and affectionate. He just likes to put on his sad face for the camera. Rocco is timid initially but warms up quickly and is eager to show his affection with tail wags and cuddles. Each day Rocco goes for a walk around the neighborhood with his foster dog brother and is very well behaved on leash. He doesn't react to other dogs or people; he just likes to spend time with his person and be out and about. Rocco's only nuance is that he will probably be shy when you first bring him home so a family who understands she dogs just need a minute to settle will be a nice fit for Rocco. He's perfectly joyful and happy in his foster home but it did take him a couple of days to be comfortable (he was in the shelter for a long period of time). The shelter staff all adored Rocco and made it their persona mission to save him as he was slated for euthanasia due to the overshelming number of dogs. We are SO PLEASED we saved Rocco!  We adore him also! Rocco's paperwork from the vet says Pointer but he appears to also have some American Bulldog and / or Boxer and perhaps Pit Bull. He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 44 lbs If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2008142##

Story
Meet Blue, the spirited and fun-loving girl with a heart of gold! Blue is a beautiful pup who likes to be on the go, eager to explore and play to her heart's content. In her foster home, you'll often find her prancing around proudly with a toy in her possession, her infectious energy lighting up the room. One of Blue's favorite pastimes is engaging with her canine companions, whether it's a game of chase in the yard or tossing her toys about with enthusiasm. She's a social butterfly who thrives on interaction, always eager to be included in the fun. If she feels left out, Blue will exhibit a bark or two. Blue is a quick learner and already shows promise with basic commands like coming when called and willingly going into her crate for treats. While she walks decently on a leash, she's still learning proper leash manners and would benefit from continued training. With her intelligence and eagerness to please, she's sure to excel with guidance and positive reinforcement. Although Blue adores children, she may be better suited for a home with older kids due to her energy level and size. She currently lives with young kids but her foster parents are very experienced. Older children will be better suited for Blue. While her breed mix is uncertain, she's a unique blend of Boxer, Catahoula, Lab, and possibly Pittie, resulting in her striking appearance and charming personality. At approximately 5 months old and weighing 35-40 lbs, Blue is still growing into herself, but her potential shines brightly. With the right family willing to provide love, guidance, and plenty of adventures, Blue will surely blossom into a loyal and devoted companion for years to come. Are you ready to welcome this delightful pup into your home and heart? If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2008160##

Story
Check out the pics and videos of this handsome pup! Walker is a ~3 month old Border Collie mix and true to his breed, this boy is smart! He quickly learned how to sit for treats and is crushing house training! At night, Walker sleeps in his comfy wire crate and also stays there when his foster mom is away for short periods of time. Walker is outgoing and eager to learn new skills and bond with his family! Training a puppy is an essential and rewarding process that helps foster a strong bond between you and your furry friend while establishing good behavior and habits. Consider enrolling you and your new puppy in training classes. These can provide structured guidance and socialization opportunities. Remember that each puppy is unique, and training methods may need to be adjusted based on their personality, breed, and individual needs. Building a positive and loving relationship with your puppy through training will lead to a happy and well-behaved adult dog.
