Story
Hi friends, I’m Tia B. I’m a young mixed-breed girl, right around a year old and about 40 pounds. I’m already spayed, so I’m all set and ready for my new family. I’m a calm, relaxed little lady who enjoys peaceful company, a soft place to rest, and gentle affection. I do have moments where I get playful and spirited, but my overall style is easygoing and mellow. I get along great with other dogs, and I’m perfectly fine with cats, too. People say I have a soft, thoughtful expression, and I guess that fits me well. I’m the kind of dog who slips quietly into your life, makes herself comfortable, and brings a steady, comforting presence to your home. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who enjoys simple pleasures and will always be happy to share a quiet moment by your side, I’d love to meet you. I’m ready to start my new chapter with someone who sees the gentle heart I have to offer. Tia B's adoption fee is $275. Story
I’m Ray, and while I may not see the world like you do, I experience it in my own incredible way—with my nose, my ears, and most of all, my heart. Yep, I’m completely blind. Not "can’t-see-great" blind—but "blind-as-a-bat" blind. But you know what? That doesn’t slow me down one bit. I’ve learned to map out my space, follow gentle voices, and stroll along happily on leash with a little guidance. I’ve even figured out how to find the best sunny spots in the yard for my afternoon naps (it's a skill, really). When I bump into things, I just shake it off and keep going. "What'd I Say?" Life's too short to sweat the small stuff. Now, let me tell you a little about my life before I got here to Happy Bark. I’m a 9-year-old Carolina Dog mix (mutt-urity at its finest) with a heart as golden as my fur. I spent my whole life outside, tethered to a dog box at the back of a yard—rain, snow, and everything in between. When an ice storm broke my cable, I wandered off, disoriented and alone. But that little twist of fate brought me here, to a second chance. I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, and completed treatment for heartworms. My eyes may not show me what's out there, but I’ve never seen more clearly what really matters—love, comfort, and a family of my own. Since moving into a foster home, I’ve thrived. For the first time, I’m living indoors and learning what it's like to be part of a real family. I navigate the house and yard like a pro, once I get the lay of the land. I even figured out how to hop up into the bed—trust me, that’s a whole new level of cozy I didn’t know I was missing. “Hit the Road Jack"? More like "Hit the Bed, Ray!" And don’t worry—I may not see other dogs coming, but I’ve learned how to communicate with them just fine. I do best with chill canine companions who can help guide me a bit. I love walks, belly rubs, kind voices, and gentle routines. I may be blind, but I see and “I believe with my soul” —and it’s telling me my forever home is out there, just waiting for a dog like me. A home with a soft bed, patience, and kindness is my heart's desire. If you're looking for a dog who won’t let anything hold him back, who meets each day with courage, sweetness, and a wagging tail—well, friend, I’m Ray. And I’d love to "Unchain My Heart" and find my way to you. Ray's adoption fee is $125. You can learn more about Ray and other dogs at Happy Bark by visiting www.happybark.org PA Kennel License 17445

Story
Oh hi… I’m Bella. I know I look all confident standing out there, but truth is, I’m a gentle girl with a soft heart. I’m a spayed female, just about 2 years and 9 months old, and I weigh 35 pounds: perfectly sized for walks, couch cuddles, and following you from room to room. I ended up back at Happy Bark's partner shetler through no fault of my own. Sometimes humans realize they weren’t quite ready to give a dog the time and care they deserve, and that was the case with my mom. She just has too many jobs and other responsibilities. That’s okay. I don’t hold grudges. I’m just grateful for another chance to find my forever person. At first, I can be a little shy. I like to take things slow and make sure I’m safe. Once I know I am, my sweet side comes right out. People say I’m sweet as pie, and I really try my best to be a good girl. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy their company. Cats? I think they’re interesting little creatures—I might watch them with curiosity, but I’m polite and not aggressive at all. I’m on the smaller side of medium, with a shiny black coat and warm tan markings that make me look very serious… until you see my tail wag. If you’re someone who believes patience, kindness, and quiet love go a long way, I think we might be perfect together. I’m ready to be someone’s loyal Bella for life. Bella is located in Erie, PA with an adoption fee of $275. You can learn more about Bella and other dogs at Happy Bark by visiting www.happybark.org PA Kennel License 17445

Story
Alright hooman… cue the music Name’s Ozzy. Ozzy Paw-sbourne, if you will. Yeah, I know the name comes with a reputation, but don’t worry—I’m more “Prince of Barkness” than heavy metal menace. I’m a 28-pound Beagle boy, about 3–4 years old, neutered, and I’ve traded the wild tour life for somethin’ much sweeter: a forever home. I started out as a stray down in Kentucky, but when nobody came to claim me, I hopped on the rescue bus and made my grand entrance at Happy Bark. Consider it my comeback tour. Now let me clear the air—I’m not smashing guitars or biting bats over here. I’m actually super go-with-the-flow. Other dogs? Rock on, I’m cool with them. Cats? No problem, I won’t start any drama. I’m more into peaceful coexistence, long sniffy walks, and chillin’ like a mellow acoustic set. I’ve got the classic Beagle nose, soulful eyes, and a calm, steady vibe that says “Crazy Train? Nah… Easy Train.” I’m happy just being by your side, whether that’s out for a stroll or crashed on the couch after a long day. So if you’re ready to adopt a legendary little rocker with a heart of gold and ears made for head-banging in the breeze, I’m your guy. Adopt me, and let’s make this a love story that never goes off the rails. Your forever fan, Ozzy Ozzy is located in Erie, PA with an adoption fee of $275. Story
Hey there, I’m Bennie. Yep, that handsome guy with the soulful eyes and the sturdy boxer build. I’m a 4-year-old Boxer mix, about 42 pounds of solid good-boy energy, and I’m neutered, so no funny business here. I came to Happy Bark after landing in a Kentucky shelter as a stray, which means my past is a little mysterious. What I do know is that I’m very ready for my next chapter, and I’m hoping it’s with you. I’ve got that classic boxer charm: a little goofy, a little serious-looking, and 100 percent loyal. I really like other dogs and do great making canine friends. Got a dog already? Awesome, I’d probably love to meet them. Cats though? Yeah… those aren’t my thing, so I’m looking for a cat-free home where I can relax and not worry about those sneaky whiskered creatures. I’m a nice medium size, not too big, not too small, just right for couch cuddles, backyard adventures, and tagging along on daily walks. I’ve passed all my tests here, and the humans say I’m a good, solid dog who just needs a family to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal buddy with a sweet face, a wagging tail, and a heart that’s ready to belong, I might just be your guy. Come meet me. I’ll be waiting, probably watching the gate, hoping today’s the day I go home. Bennie is located in Erie, PA with an adoption fee of $275. Story
Hi there! My name’s Pebbles, and I’m here to steal your heart (and maybe your laundry basket too; hey, it’s cozy in there!). I’m about 42 pounds of pure tail-wagging joy, a Heinz 57 mystery mix with a splash of sugar, a dash of spunk, and a whole lotta love. I don’t know exactly what breeds make me me, but I promise I’ve got the best parts: sweet, silly, loyal, and just a touch of goofy. Life threw me a curveball when my people left town and didn’t take me with them. But I’m not one to dwell on the past. I’m a happy-go-lucky gal who believes every day is a new chance for love, adventure, and belly rubs. And maybe a nap in a fresh pile of laundry. I’m fantastic with other dogs and adore kiddos, I'll be the fun-loving sister, snuggle buddy, or backyard playmate you’ve been dreaming of. I do ask for a home without cats (those little fluff balls are just too interesting for me). But give me a family who’ll love me forever, and I’ll give you my whole heart in return. So if you're looking for a loyal friend with a sunny smile and a laundry basket habit, I'm your girl. Love and tail wags, Pebbles Pebbles' adoption fee is $275.
