Story
Currently in our Paws-In- Prison program! I am ready for adoption as soon as I complete my training! (Approx. November) You may apply now but will not be available until training program is complete. Super happy go lucky with a shy twist! I partially grew up outside until rescue. I didn't have much socializing either! However, I did have time around cats, kittens, other dogs and little kids! So I'm great with all of those! What I didn't have much experience with is: strangers and inside the home sounds/things... and this is the area where I am timid. Once I feel comfortable I am right back To my happy silly self! In rescue I am working on many things such as: Learning how to live inside Gaining courage around strange things Accepting strangers Basic Obedience Crate Training I am not house trained but since I only had ever gone outside before the hats the only place I want to go now! So I chose to go outside and not inside. I just haven't learned fully yet how to let the humans know I have to go! Working on that! Our dogs are fully vetted. This includes spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, rabies, microchipped, Heartworm and Lyme tested, worming, flea treatments, Heartworm prevention started and any other medical care needed. Our adoption fee also includes 6-week group obedience class (value $125.) If adopting a puppy under age we cover spay/neuter at 6 months. Adoption for this dog is $325 To apply to adopt: Visit our website- www.caninepartnersprograminc.org Click Adoption tab- Read about our adoption process and requirements then complete the adoption application by clicking on the rescues face. Their info will pop up with an application button. Canine Partners Program giving dogs a second chance at a happy life with our rehabilitation program! Thank YOU for considering giving them that happy home they deserve!

Story
Aren't they GORGEOUS! Wow these two girls are absolutely wonderful dogs! They are mom and pup! Thelma is mama and Louise is her pup! We do not know their past as we were not their original rescue. However when they came to us they were completely emaciated. Absolute skin over bones! It took a good solid month for them to slowly gain the weight they needed. Through all of this they remained the sweetest girls. Thelma is very house trained and Louise needs reminded to go outside frequently. Thelma is super friendly with everybody she meets and Louis is slightly shy at first but warms up quickly! Both adore each other and will remain together for adoption. Neither are good with cats. Thelma and Louise were adopted from the previous rescue and unfortunately the new owners didn't know Thelma was very dog aggressive. She had gotten loose during a walk and attacked another dog. She lost part of her ear during this fight. You can see in the pictures one ear is slightly shorter then the other. Due to Thelma dislike for other dogs we have to adopt to a home with solid privacy fence. A neighboring dog would not be best for her either. We will also require a double door entry meaning there must be a porch or mud room etc. When Thelma goes for walks she will need to be muzzled. Thelma has been properly muzzle trained and rehabilitation has been done. She can exist around other dogs and remain in a calmer state but she can NOT live with another. She should not be trusted with another dog other then her own pup... Louise. Louise is not dog aggressive. We know that Thelma may sound like a huge problem dog to adopt but she is actually wonderful!!!!! You'll just need to meet those few requirements and she will make an amazing companion. Adoption fee for this dog is $300 (for both girls- not each) To apply to adopt: Visit our website- www.caninepartnersprograminc.org Click Adoption tab- Read about our adoption process and requirements then complete the adoption application by clicking on the rescues face. Story
Oh sweet Sadie! This girl is so full of snuggles and love! However, she is very shy when it comes to meeting new people. She is extremely shy around men. Sadie is fearful of many things, she needs an owner that will help her continue to experience life and build her confidence. She is a lover of individual attention and of learning new things. She just needs a PATIENT person to understand that so many things are new experiences for her. Sadie needs a fenced yard! She also needs to have a female as her owner/main caretaker. She would do best in a home that doesn't have loads of strangers stopping in. If you are ready for the absolute sweetest girl and have the time to help her, we would LOVE to meet you! Sadie is fully vetted- spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations. She also comes with 6 weeks of positive reinforcement obedience training! Sadie was DNA tested and the results were a surprise to us! Pitty, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Perro de Pressa Canario mix! Story
Bailey is a 1 year old Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler). Bailey is deaf and will need someone to continue her positive training. She does well with hand signals and "check in's" with her foster family. She is good with other dogs, likes to play, and her energy level is high. She will need a secure fence to be able to run, play, and keep her safe. Leash walking alone will not satisfy her need to be active. She loves to chase balls, go for car rides, and explore new places. She is extremely intelligent and will need a lot of enrichment opportunities. Bailey is very loving and likes to be part of the family.
