The last photo is a picture of Ruby and her litter mate/brother, Rico. Rico is also being rehomed and I would love it if they could stay together. Duke came to us last year from a small mountain family who helped us foster our dog for 18 months and asked if we could extend the favor and take him for the rest of his life. They moved to TX, had more kids, and we gave him a shot at ranch life. He loves to go work. By work I mean trot around inspecting things. He gets excited when the horses or the cows are running. He didnt see much of that on his small snowy mountain yard. He has done really well with the transition considering. We trail ride with him. He isnt meant to run freely when heavy equipment is running..but he is still here! He knows his name, wants to please, and loves to be busy with fetch or a run. He isnt showing signs of slowing down. We just are thinking of rehoming him because he seems to need his favorite food (Pedigree + some extra fat) and our other 3 dogs dont. We also can leave our other 3 dogs home to roam and self feed while we travel but he needs his own feeding regiment. And, he is a pain when we work cows
