Story
Extremely smart 4-year-old boxer mix! Juno is crate trained: 5-6 hour stretches during the day and sleeps through the night in the crate. Though she's crate-savvy, she's also a cuddle bug and won't turn down an invite to snuggle up in bed. Whenever we leave out of town for long work trips, she hangs out at dog boarding. We have two different companies we use and she has always interacted with the dogs without ever having any altercations - under strict supervision. She will bark at other dogs during walks. When she was a puppy, she completed a 3 month board and train where she learned her commands. "Place" Go to her bed. "Crate" When you need her in her crate. But when it's time for bed she will follow you to the crate and go right in. "Come" When you need her to come. "Come touch" When you need her attention in case of an emergency. We feel she should do best in a home environment.

Story
Cap has been a backyard dog all his life but loves attention from people. His is 6 years old now. Super loving dog and very energetic. He’s never been socialized with other animals so he should be an only pet until he is trained properly. He loves walks and playing with his toys. He needs a new home because his previous owners could no longer care for him. He is being foster right now by people who love him but can’t keep him.

Story
Betty lives life with her whole heart. During play group, Betty will play with all her might until we tell her it's time to go in, and even then she will try negotiating for "just 5 more minutes?" to which we are powerless to say no to. When Betty meets new people friends, she dives right in asking for belly rubs and wags her little nubbin at warp speed. I can tell you right now you will love her and she will love you right back. With so few guarantees in life, how can you pass her up?

Story
A lot of people used to think I was a lone-wolf kind of pup, but it didn’t make sense to me because I have a whole lotta love to give and enjoy being around humans. Before, I used to wander the streets. Luckily, I was picked up and placed into a loving home temporarily while some good people now help me find a new caring home. My foster mama wants what’s best for me and in the hands of somebody that has a large yard or even the time to take me on good girl walks and runs every day! It's also a good thing to note that I am the ultimate cuddle bug and just want to be petted all the time. My foster mama thinks I am a good balance of both lazy and energetic. If I am not being a goofball, you can catch me chewing on my toys and meaty bones, my favorite! I am learning commands quickly and can’t wait to be put in lessons. I enjoy sticking by my human around dogs, but I can’t help but be a little curious. I’m just not a fan of other doggies getting too into my space, but you can probably relate. I hope to meet my new forever home soon, and just know you will always be greeted by a happy face and tail wag when you get home. Kisses! If you are interested in meeting Missy, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions. [Missy is 1 year old and weighs 45 lbs. as of Aug. 2023] (2308)

Story
Hi meet Allie Allie is a Lovely American Bulldog/ Hound mix who is about 5 years old and is full grown at around 70lbs. Allie loves playing with her people and toys but is also an amazing snuggler. She is a happy go lucky girl with all who meets her. She would be best as an only dog in the home as she loves the attention and is not a fan of sharing. Allie wants a person/family who will provide her with a life of mental and physical stimulation while keeping her safe and happy. She loves to be with her people, so she needs a plan if there are longer workdays, so she is not spending too much time in a crate. Allie would make a great hiking, running, and walking partner. Allie came to us after being rescued from the shelter system. The independent fellow rescuer that pulled her and Chance wanted to give them a second opportunity to find their forever homes, but they fell ill and needed help, they reached out to TLF for assistance. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event.
