Story
Name: Graham Breed: Domestic Long Hair Sex: Neutered Male Age: 6 years Weight: 13 lbs Has Medical Needs Good with dogs? Yes, with a slow and proper introduction. Good with cats? He previously lived with other cats and enjoyed their companionship. He’d be thrilled to have a friend who is also FeLV-positive! Good with kids? Not Tested but may do well with kids that respect his boundaries. Energy level: Low, he loves to nap and cuddle. Medical needs: Graham is a special kitty because he is living with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). While this means he requires some extra care, he is still capable of leading a happy and full life. FeLV can affect a cat's immune system, so it's essential that he live indoors and receive regular veterinary check-ups to monitor his health. Please contact adopt@pawscoadoptions.org if you have questions about his medical needs. Animal Characteristics: Graham is a big, beautiful, sweet boy who deserves a loving, peaceful home where he can be pampered. He was abandoned and put outside to fend for himself when his prior owner became ill. Graham may be shy at first and seek out cozy boxes to snuggle into, then he is quite affectionate as he warms up to new humans. He will wind around your legs as you walk and rub against you! He is gentle, enjoys being petted and snuggling, and purrs with happiness. He’s also very talkative and will meow adorably for attention and company! Why should you consider adopting an FELV cat? Adopting a FeLV (feline leukemia virus) cat is an act of pure love and compassion that can bring immense joy to your life! These special kitties, despite their unique challenges, are just as playful, loving, and deserving of a forever home as any other cat. Here's why you should consider welcoming one into your heart and home: 🌟 A Unique Bond: FeLV cats often form incredibly close bonds with their humans, cherishing every moment of love and attention you give them. 💖 They Deserve a Second Chance: FeLV-positive cats are sometimes overlooked in shelters, but they have so much life and love to share! By adopting one, you're giving them the chance to thrive in a safe and caring environment. 😻 Loving Companions: FeLV-positive cats are just as affectionate and full of personality as other cats. They’ll fill your days with purrs, cuddles, and endless cuteness. ✨ Quality of Life Matters: These cats might have a shorter lifespan, but what truly matters is the quality of the time you spend together. Your home can be their sanctuary, where they can live happily and comfortably. 🏡 A Special Kind of Heroism: Adopting a FeLV-positive cat means becoming a champion for the underdog (or undercat!) and showing the world that every life, no matter the challenges, is worth celebrating. By choosing to adopt an FeLV cat, you’re not just rescuing them—you’re making your life brighter and more meaningful. They’ll teach you lessons in resilience, gratitude, and unconditional love. 💕 Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at https://pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. Good with kids, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Rain is 16 months old, fat, healthy, and friendly. Her mom is a DLH black and white cat that was found pregnant and abandoned at her rescuers friend's apartment complex. Rain was a house cat until she was about 6 months old and then put outside in the outdoor "cat compound," which is where the cats are kept safe from coyotes. It's a fence yard with a wire "ceiling."  Rain and her sister Snow were back inside about a month ago to get them acclimated again to being house cats.  Snow is afraid of people, so we haven't tried to get her adopted. Rain is not afraid of people, but she has a somewhat aloof personality.  She and her sister currently live in the large bathroom connected to their rescuers bedroom.  Every time she opens the door to go in the bathroom, Rain comes running out and runs all over the bedroom, having fun, and then she'll run back into the bathroom. It's a game to her.  She also likes to be scratched and petted and to throw herself on the floor and roll around. Rain is a great cat. Rain is being fostered in San Antonio, Texas, which is already humid enough, so she wants to bring some precipitation to the mountains! She needs a committed adopter or foster who loves a gentle rain to say yes and give her the ok to hop on the PJ (private jet) to Denver, Colorado. ##2269019##

Story
Leonard & Winnifred are a bonded pair. Their adoption fee is $300. Looking for the ultimate cat duo? Leonard and Winnifred are a bonded pair who balance each other out perfectly! Leonard is the life of the party—an outgoing, endlessly entertaining long haired orange kitty with a heart full of love. He adores being by your side at all times, whether you’re relaxing, working, or heading to bed (where he’ll curl under the covers for snuggles). With boundless energy for playtime, Leonard turns everything into a game, keeping you laughing with his silly antics. He also enjoys gazing out the window, watching birds and the world go by. Winnie, on the other hand, is a little shyer but a total cuddle bug. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’s all about gentle snuggles and quiet affection. Her calm nature beautifully balances Leonard’s high energy, making them the perfect match. You’ll often find them playing, napping, and exploring together! They are both gentle and incredibly affectionate and entertaining! Both Leonard and Winnie are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and litter-trained. If you’re looking for a duo that brings both excitement and sweetness into your life, Leonard & Winnie are ready to steal your heart! Rezdawg adoption fees cover rescue/transportation costs, spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations and other medical services, as needed, to bring the animals up-to-date at their time of adoption. You save a bundle of money by adopting from a non-profit—and even more importantly, you allow RezDawg to save another animal from being euthanized. ALL funds are used to save and support the animals! ##134012##
