Olive is a sweet, spunky 7-year-old with soft, fluffy black fur and stunning green eyes. A staff favorite and proud member of our Lonely Hearts Club, she’s playful, energetic, and just a little mischievous (Okay maybe she's a bit more than a little bit... But who doesn't love mischief?)! Though she had a rough start in life, she’s now full of personality and ready for a home of her own. Olive is not a fan of other cats or dogs and would thrive best in a home with no small children, we recommend 10 and up for Olive. Olive is diabetic and requires twice-daily insulin, special food, and regular glucose monitoring. While she can be a bit selective with new people, once she warms up, she’s full of love, headbutts, and kisses. Come say hello—you might be just who she’s been waiting for!

The owner of these 2 cats, Bella and Willow, is in the hospital and going from there to assisted living. Their plan was for her son to take care of her at home, but he died suddenly (age 44) so she can’t go back to her home. The cats are staying in the house for now. The neighbor that is caring for them said Willow is shy but when she is at the house she is usually cleaning and vacuuming and that may be why she hides. Bella is sweet. Leo is a cuddly rag doll of a cat. He loves to lay in the sun and nap. His favorite spot is a summer morning on an outdoor enclosed catio. He loves kids and humans but can be very shy at first. It took him about 2 months to fully embrace his home and the people in it. He is very protective of his humans and gets along with dogs. He is very bonded to Oscar. They sleep together snuggled up. He is currently settling into the EAPL Cat Adoption Center, at Chow Down in Evergreen. (Initial write up from 2023 when he arrived at EAPL: Meet Mushroom, a sweet little guy about 5 years old. He gets shy with other cats but not aggressive and lives with a big dog and a little dog with no problems. Owner decided to relinquish due to a urinary tract infection she could not afford to treat and she was pregnant with her first child and doesn’t feel capable of taking care of Mushroom and a baby.)
