Story
Abby's a funny, petite little thing. In a quiet environment where she feels safe, she's a steady little friend. She's currently sharing a staff office and her favorite spot in curled up on the chair beside her roomie, purring and occasionally leaning over with a headbutt to encourage more petting.Visitors cause her to feel a little less secure, and she's likely to make herself scarce until they depart, so a hostess-with-the-mostest type household isn't her ideal.Abby doesn't trust easily and hasn't had enough safe relationships to forgive easily when trust is broken, so it'll be important for her next family to take care to build a strong foundation of friendship with her. She can do, and she's worth the effort.Other pets caused some trauma for Abby in a prior household and at this stage in her life we don't believe she'd weather the introduction to the hustle and bustle of children successfully, so she's seeking, ideally, and adult only, single pet household. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 7.525 Age: 8yrs 1mths 2wks

Story
Are you hiring? This working cat is seeking a job in a rural environment such as a farm, stable, or garden center where they can enjoy the freedom of outdoor life with the safety of a familiar place and a committed caretaker. Working cats span the spectrum of sociability, with some cats quite inexperienced and fearful of people, preferring to work from the shadows, and some cats who will eagerly rub against your boot and join you for your outdoor chores. Some working cats may amaze you with the mouse catching antics and athleticism, and some may be more hands off, discouraging pests with their presence and scent. Looking for a particular personality? Ask our team about finding the right cat for your environment. To set your new farm hand up for success, we recommend setting up a cozy, confined space replete with food, water, and litterbox. After a week or two of enjoying the amenities of their new environment they'll feel much safer staying put and getting to work. Have a big job? Ask our team about cats that may enjoy working in pairs or groups. All working cat adoptions are fee-waived, with spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and ear-tip included. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 3.52 Age: 0yrs 5mths 0wks

Story
Meet Quintin, an 8-month-old floofy heartthrob with the kind of majestic tail that deserves its own fan club. If you believe in love at first sight, Quintin is ready to prove you right. This boy is all charm and confidence, greeting everyone he meets like an old friend and diving straight into snuggles without hesitation. Quintin is wonderfully social, incredibly affectionate, and always up for attention. He adores other cats and truly needs a playful feline friend in his forever home to help burn off his happy kitten energy. When he’s not cuddling, you’ll find him joyfully chasing wand toys, zooming around with his buddies, or proudly showing off that glorious plume of a tail. He recently arrived from Texas after being found as a stray, but he’s made it clear that indoor life suits him perfectly. While we don’t know his history with dogs, he could likely adjust to a calm, cat-friendly pup. Kids are a big yes too, Quintin loves being part of the action. We’re participating in the Bring Home Love Challenge! All adoption fees are at least 25% off, making Quintin’s adoption fee $110. His adoption fee includes: • Neuter • Dewormer • FeLV testing • Microchip • Core vaccines • A free 30-day subscription to Petcademy (24/7 cat behavior support!) • A free exam at a ChewyVet clinic + a $50 Chewy gift card If your home has room for one extra floof, one extra purr, and a whole lot of love, Quintin is ready to sweep you off your feet.

Story
Olive is a sweet, spunky 7-year-old with soft, fluffy black fur and stunning green eyes. A staff favorite and proud member of our Lonely Hearts Club, she’s playful, energetic, and just a little mischievous (Okay maybe she's a bit more than a little bit... But who doesn't love mischief?)! Though she had a rough start in life, she’s now full of personality and ready for a home of her own. Olive is not a fan of other cats or dogs and would thrive best in a home with no small children, we recommend 10 and up for Olive. Olive is diabetic and requires twice-daily insulin, special food, and regular glucose monitoring. While she can be a bit selective with new people, once she warms up, she’s full of love, headbutts, and kisses. Come say hello—you might be just who she’s been waiting for!

Story
Meet Lady! She is bonded to her sister Smudge! Are you looking for two cats instead of one? This cat is one half of a bonded pair! Bonded cats are required to go home with their buddy whether that be due to possible stress for one or both cats if they become separated or because these two have been together their whole lives! *Considering bringing home a bonded pair? We make things easy by offering a “by one get one” deal when adopting! If you see one but not the other on the website, give us a call at (303)239-9680 or email us at info@catcaresociety.org chances are they are temporarily not available but will be soon! Cat Care Society cannot place holds on these cats over the phone or through email but we would be happy to do a hold in person. *
