Story
Mavis is a discerning woman who knows what she likes and makes her happiest.  She will probably be happiest as an only queen or with another kitty that she likes; she would probably not enjoy living with many more animals.  While she can coexist peacefully with another kitty, she has not been interested in being cuddly with them. She enjoys being pet on her head, and having wet food with gravy in her designated spot.   Mavis enjoys having a human servant who learns to do things "just so."  She could be a nice apartment kitty or pet for someone who would like companionship and expect the cat to entertain itself. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website - https://demisanimalrescue.com/demis-adoption-application/  All cats are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, FeLV tested and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, rabies - if age appropriate) ##2613535##

Story
Lisa, Homer and Maggie are siblings who prove that opposites truly do attract and beautifully so.  Lisa is a shy 10 month old cat with a gentle soul. He takes his time getting comfortable with people and is looking for a calm, quiet home with a true cat whisperer- someone who understands that patience, soft voices and consistency are the key factors to his heart. Once he feels safe, Lisa’s sweet nature shines through in quiet companionship and playful moments with his feline friends or with his person through the slightest movement under a blanket.  Homer, on the other paw, is the social butterfly of the family once he is comfortable. This outgoing, long haired orange stunner will observe before jumping into action but is never shy with his siblings. Once he warms up, he loves people, attention and spreading laughter wherever he goes. His easygoing personality makes him the perfect emotional support sibling. Then there is Maggie, the long haired calico of 10 months. She loves to be around people and will romp with Homer and Lisa all day. She will decide when it’s time for pets but don’t be surprised when she decides to curl up in your lap and lets you gently rub her ears and stroke her neck.  This trio is definitely a group of characters who will provide much entertainment and bring life to your home.  Together, they are magic. Taking in 3 kitties is like the Costco style adoption so if another kitty in your home awaits an active friend these 3 would love another cat companion. If you’re looking for a bonded duo or trio that offers both quiet devotion and outgoing affection, this clowder is ready to fill your home with balance, and love.  If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website - https://demisanimalrescue.com/demis-adoption-application/  All cats are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, FeLV tested and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, rabies - if age appropriate) ##2533548##

Story
Skittles is a sweet cat who needs a family that can give her the love and attention she deserves. We have had her for 7 years but since we added our daughter to the family, Skittles has been restless and seems stressed and unhappy. With our growing family we cannot give her the solo attention she requires. She is a lap cat and wants cuddles and companionship. I’m thinking an older couple or widow/er without kids would be perfect. This is hard for us to do but believe this is what would be best for her and us.

Story
Please contact Kristin (cats@arrcolorado.org) for more information about this pet.  Meet Mr. Big Paws, known to his fosters as Teddy.  This handsome boy started life in a colony and was TNR’d as a kitten. While living at a local pottery shop, the people there saw his potential and helped him begin learning to trust people before he moved to a foster home to continue his socialization journey. Mr. Big Paws is still a very shy cat and will need a patient home that can give him time to feel safe and continue building trust. The best way to his heart is through other cats—he absolutely loves them and gains confidence from their companionship. While at the pottery shop, he had a special feline soulmate who sadly passed away, and he has clearly missed that connection ever since. Because of this, he must go to a home with another friendly cat so he can form that bond again. He still needs a little more work and attention, but this sweet boy has so much love to give and will thrive in a calm home with a feline friend by his side.     Foster: MN  Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. Story
My brother Lobelia and I were surrendered by a nice lady who was caring for us as community cats. This is why we both have flat left ear tips, the universal sign of a TNRd (trap-neuter-return) community cat.She realized we are not feral and did not want us to continue living outdoors. We would like to be adopted together. We each have very unique qualities. Crossandra- is polydactyl, which means I have extra toes. I will need my nails trimmed regularly or they will curl into my paw, causing pain or infection.Lobelia- The front part of my tongue is gone, from the frenulum forward. I may have been born this way or caused by injury. I will need to be fed wet food twice a day along with normal kibble. I am unable to groom like normal, so I may need washed off regularly. I use my mouth/teeth to groom and I get a little messy when I eat.We both need regular brushing with our long hair and eat a lot. We both love wet food. Other than that, we just need love and rubs in a quiet home as we are still a little shy. Crossandra and Lobelia are approximately 3 years old.         foster: chcl Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home.
