Story
This is our cat asparagus he is very sweet and cuddly and kind overall he just needs to be an only cat household. He really struggles to get along with our other Cat to the point that we are worried about the safety of both of them. And we need to rehome him pretty urgently due to our situation but he would be like the perfect cat for someone who only wants one cat or for somebody who works from home. We need to rehome him by June 2 if possible at all so please if you're interested at all let me know. Thank you.

Story
Angus is a Domestic Long Hair (DLH)-mix, male, DOB: 4/15/22. Angus is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a calm, low-active to moderately active lifestyle and no active young children under the age of six (6). He is comfortable with other compatible cats and kittens, and he’ll be comfortable in the presence of well-mannered, cat-friendly dogs after being given some adjustment time to warm-up and settle into his new surroundings. As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable animals, a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption. Angus currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store. You can meet him by appointment with pre-approved adoption application. To start the adoption process, complete and submit Monroe SPCA’s adoption application linked above. All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $85.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped with lifelong registration prior to adoption. Completed applications can be emailed to info@monroespca.org or dropped off at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store located at 293 W. Monroe Street, Dundee, MI. Story
Meet Poppy, a sweet kitty looking for a loving new family.Poppy has always enjoyed the companionship of other cats and thrives in a home where she has feline friends. Sadly, her brother recently passed away (orange cat pictured), and now her family is preparing to move, making it necessary for her to find a new place to call home.Poppy is a gentle cat who would do especially well in a home with another friendly cat, where she can enjoy the companionship she has always known. She is hesitant to have human touch, but otherwise loves being around her human friends, either relaxing in a sunny spot nearby, playing with kitty toys with us, or hanging out in the yard.Seeking a stable, caring home where she can settle in and become a cherished member of the family. If you're looking for a sweet companion and have room in your heart and home for Poppy, please reach out.

Story
Hi my name is Gadget! I am a shy cat looking for a patient owner who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. I can be rather shy so I would prefer a quieter home without younger children. Once I get comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. After all, the best things in life are worth waiting for – like a special bond with a cat who likes the calmer side of life. I am currently under the care of the shelter medical team at HSHV. If you would like to learn more about me, please reach out to the Adoption Desk at (734) 662-5585.

Story
Hi there, my name is Sugar. I am a shy but very sweet kitty looking for my forever home. I am trying my best to gain confidence, and luckily I found a lovely foster family to keep me safe and comfortable while I wait for my new family. My ideal home would be a family with older children, as kids under 12 would be a bit too much for me. Please contact the adoptions team at HSHV if you would like to meet me.Sugar is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call (734)662-5585 to arrange a meeting today!
