Story
Meet Desdemona! Affectionately known as: Dessie, Dezi D, Monaaaaa and Monerific! This girl has quickly become a staff favorite and it's no secret as to why. She's an upbeat, bright girl who is always welcoming and appreciative of love and attention. She's social and outgoing. She's lovable and affectionate. Goofy and playful. Low key and easy going. I could go on for days, or you could come meet her yourself! Pictures do not do this fluffy, beautiful girl justice either, so you have to come meet her now!Keep in mind: Like I said, Desdemona is a fluffy girl and may need some brushing to prevent any painful matting!Desdemona was adopted for a short time and did not care for the other cat in the home. She may need to be the only cat in her forever home or might be selective and need extremely slow introductions to other cats.

Story
Meet Rainbow Brite! This sweet but shy lady is looking for a new family to call her own! She can be nervous at first, and would likely enjoy a quieter home with low traffic where she won't be easily startled. But once she warms up she is very loving and affectionate! She can be a little overwhelmed in new spaces, so we recommend starting her off in a single room to let her acclimate before introducing her to the whole house. Rainbow Brite loves chin scratches and comfy, cozy placed to hide and nap! Come meet this pretty girl today!

Story
This beautiful boy is Humphrey! When he arrived at the shelter, he was initially thought to be feral due to his fearful nature. He would run and hide from us when approached and didn't seem like he wanted any interaction. But he quickly changed his tune when he realized we were here to help! Humphrey is a middle aged fella with a lot of life left in him, but he's been through a lot in his life on the streets and needed quite a bit of medical help before becoming the much healthier and happier guy you see now. Nevertheless, this toothless guy is feeling much better these days and is ready to find his perfect retirement home! Humphrey spent some time in a foster home where he took a couple weeks to settle in. For the first week or so, he mostly hid from sight and only came out at night for food. But by the end of their time together, Humphrey's foster said he was out waiting for her every morning for breakfast and would pop up his butt for some gentle scratches! He'll likely need to start in a small, safe space during his adjustment so he can take lots of time to feel comfortable. Otherwise, he doesn't need much: a big open window to bird watch in, a comfy blanket or two to lounge on and a good brushing here and there to keep the mats at bay. Humphrey is a really sweet guy who just needs someone to give him a chance, could that be you?!Humphrey has been diagnosed with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This disease is not curable, but he can still live a very long and healthy life! FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds and is unlikely to be spread through sharing of water bowls or other close contact. Friendly cats who develop stable relationships without fighting are at minimal risk of transmission, so slow introductions are highly recommended!

Story
This fanciful feline is Storm! While her coat brings about thoughts of wild stormy day, her personality is more like a calm spring rain. Storm is a very lovely, but shy girl. She is nervous around new visitors, but once she settles in she is very affectionate with her family! She is very laid back and enjoys spending her days lounging in a warm sunbeam! Storm prefers the company of adults as opposed to young children, they can make her quite nervous. If you have a quiet home that you're willing to share with this beautiful lady, then come meet her today!Storm was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). It is a disease that can't be treated, but she is still able to live a happy and healthy life! She will need to live in a home either with no other cats, or with a resident cat(s) that have already been diagnosed with this condition. Please consider adopting multiple FeLV cats together, especially if there are available litter mates, so they always have someone to play and snuggle with!

Story
Meet Floyd, a super handsome young guy looking for a new forever home! Floyd was surrendered when his owner could longer keep him indoors and he wasn't welcome in the neighborhood. He lived as an indoor/outdoor cat and now enjoys his freedom a little too much to be fully contained. Floyd will be the kind of cat that needs a little bit more stimulation than the average housecat. He'll benefit from a family that can harness train him to take him on hikes, or even just an adventure in the backyard where he can be supervised. A catio would do wonders for his mental health and his desire to be outside as well! Floyd has a friendly nature and independent spirit that make him a wonderful mix of sweet but low key. His curiosity knows no bounds; he loves exploring his surroundings, always on the hunt for a new adventure. Floyd can be a little shy, but give him time and he'll warm up to you, becoming your loyal companion. Adopt Floyd, and let his charming personality fill your home (and maybe your yard) with joy and companionship! Floy also gets along with kids, dogs and other cats!Keep in mind: Floyd is a fluffy, longer haired cat and may need some brushing to prevent any painful matting!

Story
This big man has a personality and a heart as big as his belly! Cass is a huge cat. In every way. He's a large boy who needs some help to lose a few pounds so he can be his healthiest self! But don't worry, his giant heart and his larger than life personality won't shed with the pounds! Cass is a wildly social boy who is immediate best friends with everyone he meets! He loves attention of all kinds and will happily flop and roll around to beg for more! He enjoys belly rubs, invading your personal space, and demanding pets at the most inconvenient of times. Cass doesn't only take up a lot of space physically, but he'll fill your heart and your home with so much love and laughter too!Keep in mind: Cass is a fluffy, longer haired cat and will need some brushing to prevent any painful matting! He's a little too large to groom himself sometimes, so he'll need your help to stay fresh and clean until he loses a little weight and can resume cleaning up!
