Story
Groucho was found in rough shape. He may have had an admittedly gruff demeanor, but he was unable to take care of himself out there on his own and that will take a toll on any cat. He was sick when found requiring a few days of hospitalization. During his stay his matted coat was shaved down allowing him to grow out his coat the way it was meant to be. Long and luxurious. Groucho would thrive in an adult home who would allow him time to acclimate. You will be so glad you chose to give this special cat a chance. * AGE : estimated to be 3-5 years old by his veterinarian * TEMPERAMENT: Wants to be a lap cat in a quiet home * Why are they at the shelter? Found homeless and unable to get by * Any Health issues? None known, though he needs consistent brushing * How are they with other cats? Dogs? Good with other cats and seems to accept dogs who are calm * Volunteer Comments? "He's such a Dignified cat." Groucho deserves the best of homes!" Story
This is Theodore, and he is so so sweet! Theodore came to PAWER with his sister Eleanore, after they were left at the vet office to be euthanized due to fleas. They are a senior pair, and while we believe they are siblings, they are very bonded regardless. They must go together, as a pair to live out the rest of their days in peace. Theodore is the more confident of the two, and will come to anybody for pets immediately. He is very thankful to be done itching, and is truly the sweetest senior you could imagine. We have completed their medical, and taken care of their flea issues. They would love to meet you, and to find their forever home together.

Story
This is Eleanore, who is bonded to Theodore. They came in together, after their former owner attempted to euthanize them due to fleas. They were brought to us, and are living happily now that they are parasite-free! Eleanore is a bit more reserved than Theodore is at first, but she warms up once given some time to acclimate. It is a big change of losing your family of over ten years!! She has a reason to be guarded, and we don't hold it against her. Once you get some wet food, she will be much more likely to give you some attention. She is a very sweet and gentle girl, and she is very bonded to Theodore. We believe they are siblings, and she relies on him for confidence in new areas at first. These seniors have had a rough time lately, and they would love to spend the rest of their lives in a home again. If you are interested in meeting them, their medical is complete and they are ready for love!

Not good with kids, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Moki was found at 5 weeks old in a dumpster and i have had him since! (5 years now) Moki began having aggression towards other cats in the home at 2 years old. He needs to be the only cat in the house. He might do best with no children under 12, however he hasn’t really been around kids. He is a very sweet cat to me when he wants to be. He does swat at me and other humans but his main aggression is at the other cats. I firmly believe that Moki would thrive and behavioral issues would stop if he was the only cat. He doesn’t bite nor draw blood but he will swat from time to time when he is aggravated with the other cats. He loves watching birds on his 20” TV (lol) He loves feathered toys and sometimes joins me in the bath, as long as the water doesn’t touch him. Lol. He is a good boy in need of a no cat zone house!!!
