Story
Misty is a 10-year-old, affectionate tabby girl looking for her forever home! This pretty girl absolutely loves people and warms up very quickly. She enjoys being petted and held, while staying close to her humans. She is quite chatty, often meowing softly to talk to you. This lovely lady is a calm and affectionate companion who would love to spend her days relaxing and keeping you company.Misty has a moderate energy level and is usually more active in the evenings. She enjoys her breakfast and then likes to rest for most of the day. Around 4 to 5 pm, she starts waking up and looks for some attention or light playtime before settling in again for the night. This fluffy stripey lady is currently living in a one-bedroom apartment with one human and no other animals. She has not met any other dogs, cats, or children to date.Misty's ideal home would be one where people work from home and/or are around more often, as she loves companionship and spending time with her humans. She enjoys watching the world outside and will happily sit by the window observing people come and go.Misty has early-stage renal disease, so she drinks A LOT of water. As a result, her litter box will need to be cleaned fairly often. Since she has longer fur, she can sometimes get a bit of litter stuck on her, so occasional wiping may be needed. Misty’s forever people should be committed to keeping her happy and comfortable in her golden years, and helping her manage her kidney condition through renal-specific diet, lots of water, regular vet visits to monitor her levels, medication if needed eventually, and plenty of love!Misty will be so happy to enjoy her life as your gentle companion! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates.Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Story
Meet Bebe and Victor, the brother/sister duo of cute and quirky wrapped into incredibly gorgeous features! Bebe is as stoic as she looks in her first picture 95% of the time; the other 5%, she is quirky in the best way. I think she’s still growing into her personality, and when she doesn’t have to compete with all of her kitten siblings for attention, she’s going to be absolutely hilarious to her furever family . She is my “observer” and loves to perch on top of things to get the best view of the group and their activities, until she’s ready to hurl herself in the ring for playtime! She has the cutest little toebeans and I can’t wait for her to come into her own. Victor is the definition of regal handsomeness. Every once in a while he forgets himself and goes crazy, flying through the air in little bursts at wand toys or being a bit mischievous going outside castle grounds. This guy is pure perfection… obviously. His fur is as soft as you’d hope. Victor is working on his confidence, but is being so impressive every day; I think he will really shine in his furever home and bond closely to his people. Bebe and Victor would like a home that helps them build their confidence as they grow into their purrfect personalities! They’d really like a home committed to giving them plenty of trust-building, positive activities. They are okay with other cats, could be fine with a low-energy, cat-savvy dog with proper intros, and would do best with gentle, respectful kids ages 12 and up. They are scheduled for spay and neuter on July 23rd, and can go home after healing time. If you’d like to see more on personality you can see them on their Foster’s social media pages: Instagram: kittyfosterroxanne or Facebook: Kitty Foster Roxanne MN.There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Story
Tasha is a 13-year-old beautiful long-haired Tortoiseshell looking for her forever home!Tasha absolutely loves her people. She is a true beauty queen who struts her stuff right up to you to be petted and admired. She would love to cuddle up to you all day, but otherwise you can find her looking outside or snoozing in her favorite spots. Tasha doesn’t seek out much play and is perfectly content spending her time seeking and receiving love from her favorite humans. Come mealtime, she’ll be the one to let you know she’s hungry. She may meow for food or attention, or will fire up her strong purr and head butt you, rub on your face, and make biscuits to show her affection. Tasha currently lives with two adults in a single-family home. She is separated from the other cats in the home as she prefers to be the only beauty queen, but she tolerates the dog. She would thrive as a solo cat - dog friend is a possibility, but they must be 100% cat friendly as Tasha is declawed. Tasha would do fine with kids in a home and would soak up all the extra attention! She has a beautiful long coat with lots of hair and occasional shedding. Because of this, she must go to an allergy free home. At mealtime, Tasha requires a wet food diet and any prospecting adopters must be able to feed three wet food meals per day or invest in a wet food automatic feeder and refill it once per day. Tasha is also a pretty big cat! She is almost the length of your average Maine coon, and a large carrier and XL litter box are must-haves for her. She is due for an upcoming dental and after that, she will be ready to go to her furever home!If you’re looking for a people-oriented, friendly and affectionate cat, Tasha is your girl!— — —There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Story
Penny and Meredith are an adorable pair of 4-month-old bonded kittens, looking for their forever home together!Penny is a smart, playful girl who also loves to cuddle. She is always first to discover the new toys (and new ways of getting into things!). She’s curious and energetic and will keep you on your toes before insisting on lots and lots of cuddles.Meredith is a goofy little chatterbox with lots of opinions! She loves playing with her sister and the two resident cats in her foster home. She loves to carry around her favorite toys and is a big fan of treats. These two beautiful mini-panthers are currently living in an apartment with their foster human and two resident cats. These two get along great with other cats, and have met a couple of respectful dogs with no issues. Gentle, cat-savvy children would also be great. The ideal home for these little princesses would include adults or a family who are committed to giving them plenty of attention and playtime, and who enjoy kitten shenanigans. It’s time to double your good luck this summer with Penny and Meredith!--------------There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Story
Meet Hawk and Maisie, a 3-month-old, brother/sister meowdel-worthy duo! These sweethearts are looking for a quiet and gentle home together to continue to learn how amazing scritches are and show off all their wand toy chasing skills! Maisie is a little reserved at first but secretly a total spitfire. Something about her wise eyes seems like she “knows things”. I don’t know what she knows exactly, but she’s definitely assessing me and planning things; I’m sure of it. She’s truly stunning and has a very expressive face, a little “how to train your dragon”-like at times. And boy, is this girl FAST. Her tiny little legs get ripping around under her and she can get to the birdie wand while bowling over one of her brothers, no problem! If she wants to, that is. Maisie often observes for a bit before she strikes. I’m totally determined to her earn her love and feel confident that I’m winning her over slowly, with some top notch back scritches; her little leggies push her butt up involuntarily until she realizes she’s showing me she likes it. Hawk was named in hopes of the kitty he could become someday, but there are actually few hawk-like elements to this guy! Speed? No. Agility? No. Cunning? Still no. So unfortunately, whoever adopts him will most surely have to change his name: may I suggest. “Oh honey” or “you did your best” as nicknames? All kidding aside, Hawk is ridiculously soft while he plays on the floor, and he thinks his paws belong in the water bowl (which I’m pretty sure he learned from his brother Gibson). This boy also thinks he’s tough and gives a lot of hilarious facial expressions, but the second you hold him he goes limp. He is indeed a liquid floppy cat. Hawk is a sensitive emo-boy and so sweet! Maisie & Hawk would like a home that helps build their confidence as they continue growing into their purrfect personalities! They are okay with other cats, could be fine with a low-energy, cat-savvy dog with proper intros, and will do best with gentle, respectful kids ages 12 and up (or in an adults-only home). These two are scheduled for spay & neuter on July 23rd, and can go home after healing time. Story
Lady Grey and Matilda are a pair of affectionate bonded sisters looking to join a family who they can love forever. Likely a litter apart (a couple months difference), they are both around 2 years old and absolutely inseparable. These large silver beauties are some of the softest creatures you will ever meet, and they will bring joy and laughter to any household! Whether they're playing, napping, or eagerly awaiting your attention, they make every moment a little more fun. Like many siblings, their personalities complement each other well. Lady Grey is the younger sister and a playful, outgoing goofball who is always ready to chase a laser pointer or turn anything into a toy. Matilda is a few months older and was previously a momma, so she's a bit more mature and calmer, and is initially reserved with unfamiliar people. She needs a little patience and reassurance to build trust, but once she feels safe you'll find her joining Lady Grey to play or nap everywhere you look. They love spending time in their cat tree, turning into a puddle of cuddles on the couch, giving each other baths, and racing around the house together. While not territorial, they are very food motivated, which means they will have unwavering loyalty to anyone who gives them meals and treats! While in PetHavens' care, they have been staying at a 1.5 bedroom apartment in Minneapolis with one foster parent and two resident cats. They have gotten along great with both of the resident cats, often playing all together. While they do not have experience with children or dogs, they can still be adopted by family with them as long as they can support Matilda's need to settle in at her own pace. Their ideal home has space for two large cats to play and explore, people who are around often, and adopters who can commit to loving them for the rest of their lives. Oh, and who will brush them regularly, too! If you're looking for a pair of devoted companions who will fill your home with laughter, love, and twice the purrs, send in an application asap to meet Lady Grey and Matilda!- - - - - - - - - - - - -There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
