Story
Hello! My name is  Percy . I am looking for my very own family. I am a sweet and friendly young cat. I am just about a year young. I love toys and people. I currently live with dogs and cats. I am a special needs kitten.  &#226&#128&#139I don't really know why my back legs are paralyzed, but I promise you I don't let that stop me!!  I would love someone willing to help me with daily functions.  I need to be expressed.  Don't let that scare you.  It is pretty easy to accomplish.  I am most comfortable when I am expressed multiple times a day.  At night, I am comfortable wearing a diaper.  I usually cooperate when it is time to express and stimulate my bowels if you can catch me!!  I love my cat perch and have no problem climbing it.  They named me Percy, which is short for perseverance.  I have never let any challenges get in my way!!   I would love to meet YOU. Our Adoption fee is reduced to $105 for Special Needs Cats.   For adoption consideration or to meet our kittens , please complete our online application:   www.everypetsdream.org/adopt and  we will have everything we need to know to call you back and set up an appointment.  Follow us:  Facebook  and  Instagram   May 4, 2024, 12:58 pm

Story
There are two cats. The white one on the left is Babycon and the black one on the right is Den. I prefer having the two of them go adopt together due to having a brother and sister relationship. The White one might look dirty at that time, but I can fully ensure his clean at the time of writing this story. They both live in the shed outside of my house and like to get messy at times, especially Babycon. Where both of them can eat quite a lot. But unfortunately I have to move out of my current house to another place soon, so I'm trying to find a place for these two cats to live. If these application does get viewed, I will contact you for further discussion and questions. No fee, these two are completely free.

Story
We got Kitty from Wagly, he is a rescue. Kitty will be 4 years old in October! He is super energetic, loving, and cuddly. Kitty grew up with a small dog and had many play dates with other cats. He loves pets, attention, cuddles, and kisses. Kitty can be very skittish at times but he warms up fast. He’s never had any issues with children or strangers. He also is very curious cat and loves to try to go outside when he can.

Story
Butterscotch has 4 other siblings who also need homes. Their mom is an outside stray that we feed in our backyard. She safely gave birth to the babies in our dog house and we brought them inside at week 4. They were bottle fed until wet food was safe. Butterscotch is a high energy kitty who loves to play and cuddle. He immediately purrs when he is picked up. If he could be adopted with one other sibling, he would be so happy! He loves chasing his siblings around and having a buddy to play with.

Story
IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT TCRESCUE.COM/ADOPT Cheeseslice is a neutered young adult orange and white tabby born approximately 9/20/22.   Cheeseslice is a very confident cat in his foster home. He enjoys playing with toys, scratching up cardboard boxes, and he loves to chew up string- so make sure your running shoes are tucked away- his foster had to replace her shoe string! He very much enjoys the attention of his foster caretaker, and also loves to pester the dogs in his foster home. He is 100% comfortable around cat-savvy dogs, and often plays tag with the terrier in the foster home, running around the couches, hiding, and then pouncing out. Cheeseslice loves treats, particularly fish paste sticks (think Churu, Tiki Cat Stix). He will take dewormers and pills no problem when you have that liquid gold treat around him. He also likes to snuggle on the bed in the morning, and will come to remind you that he has not had his breakfast yet.    He has a beautiful orange and white coat, of a medium length, though he does not require brushing. He also has a little smudge of orange color right off of his nose that looks like a little slice of cheese fell on him. Cheeseslice would probably do well in a home with respectful children, and would do best with his brother Cheesepuff, but can go as a solo cat. His ideal situation would have another animal in the home he can snuggle and hang out with while his humans are away. He has been waiting a very long time for a loving home and would love a place to call his own! Cheeseslice tested positive feline calicivirus and feline herpes when he was two months old and is likely a carrier for these feline viruses so the best home for him will be a home with someone who understands the possibility that he could have "breakouts"- however, in the year he has been with his foster, he has shown NO outward symptoms of the viruses. The foster's own cat was also tested for the viruses one year after they had lived together in the same household, and it came out negative. As long as vaccinations are up to date, there's a good chance Cheeseslice can move into a household that already has resident cats, with no viral exchange. Cats with feline herpes or calicivirus may exhibit symptoms or flareups ranging in severity, randomly or in times of stress throughout their life. Learn why kittens in pairs are healthier and happier at: http://tcrescue.com/why2kittens Cheeseslice is being fostered in Gilroy.   Adoption fee of $65 covers deworming, rabies and one FVRCP vaccination, microchip, and neuter surgery.   If Cheeseslice is adopted with one of his foster siblings, the total adoption fee is only $75 for the pair! Story
IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT TCRESCUE.COM/ADOPT Butterscotch is a young adult, neutered grey tabby born approximately 9/20/22.   Butterscotch was trapped with his siblings from a dumpster as kittens, with respiratory infections. He had to receive medicine daily for weeks, and because of this, he i s still a shy boy. He is cat sociable and is fine being within 5 feet of you, but does not like to be touched, unless it is on his terms. He will come up to you for pets when he feels you are incapacitated- aka sitting on the couch or lying in the bed. He also enjoys snuggling on the bed at night, and will purr very loudly once he starts getting scritches behind his ears. He is an observer for the most part, but he's a sweet boy and would benefit from having a home of his own where he can blossom into a more playful snuggle bug.   Butterscotch has a beautiful ombre brown and grey striped coat with yellow green eyes. He really loves to play with his siblings and snuggle with the older cats. He is not bothered at all by the rough housing of the dogs in the house, and will often snuggle up to them when they are trying to nap. His favorite toy is a crackly fabric mouse and his favorite resting spot is atop the couch cushions. Butterscotch would do best with another cat or calm dog in the home, and no children or high-energy households. He has been exposed to feline calicivirus and feline herpes and is likely a carrier for these feline viruses so the best home for Butterscotch will be a home with someone who understands the possibility that he could have "breakouts"- however, in the year he has been with his foster, he has shown NO outward symptoms of having these viruses. Story
Artemis  was rescued from a homeless encampment when he was about one year old, along with his brothers and parents. He was born outside and socialized by a homeless woman, whom the cats slept with, in her tent. Like many cats,  Artemis  can be a bit shy with new people and places, but once he's comfortable he's super sweet and loves pets and attention.  Artemis  has a beautiful tuxedo coat with medium to long hair and he has longer hair in his ears like a Maine Coon. His dad is a Maine Coon Mix and mom is a petite black kitty.  Artemis  loves to play with other cats and would enjoy another cat to live with, or a human who's home a good amount of the time.  He likes companionship and talks a lot.   Artemis  would probably do well with dogs or other animals as well.  He's a sweet boy and would be a great addition to someone's home.   Artemis  did have urinary crystals in the past and is on a special diet to prevent them, so he would need to stay on this diet or a similar one to prevent a urinary blockage.  Someone who's familiar with this issue would be ideal.  Otherwise,  Artemis  is a healthy, affectionate, happy boy who's neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Artemis is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, email us at courtesy@thedancingcat.org.
