Story
Jinx is a super-cool black kitty ready for adoption! He is approximately 10 months old and he is a charmer! Jinx is affectionate, lovey and very playful. He's very communicative and has a lot to say!   Jinx is a beautiful cat. He has a medium-hair coat with an auburn tint to it and beautiful, striking eyes. If you love black cats, and specifically affectionate black cats, this boy is for you. He's got everything going for him...he's playful and loves people. Jinx loves other cats and grooms and plays with the kittens and other cats in his foster home.   Jinx was born in approximately June 2024.  He has been fixed and is up to date on his shots.  He was found with an abscess on his cheek which was treated with antibiotics; he is fully healed and his fur has grown back.   This is a Courtesy Post, and Jinx is with the Cat Network of Stanislaus in Modesto, California. For more information, please contact Monica at info@catnetworkofstanislaus.org or 209-735-0604. Visit their website at https://catnetworkofstanislaus.org/   Please Note: This cat has not yet been tested for FIV/FeLV, to our knowledge. Potential adopters should confirm the cat’s status with the rescue group and should consult with their veterinarian for recommendations regarding testing. April 29, 2025, 7:03 pm

Story
This sweet dude needs someone who can keep him inside to keep him safe and where he can be a special little weirdo. Koba sometimes eats small toys and barfs up the stuffing, so watch for that. He's got an eagerness for food that is really unmatched. We found Koba injured from some kind of animal attack. We believe he was a lost or abandoned pet because he's SO good with people, but he is often reactive towards other animals. With treats, he can learn to get along with other animals but it takes him some time. He is VERY food motivated, but not the sharpest tool in the shed. We have been working on integrating him with our cats but we can't keep him. We think he's about 3yo. We don't want to surrender him to a shelter where he won't have the quiet and attention needed for him to adapt to all the other animals. Please consider adopting him, he deserves a forever home. He eats Hills CD and is on prozac, but could come off it once adjusted in a new place.

Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some cat experience Could join a calm home with older kids May be okay with other cats Needs to be indoor only Receives daily medication and a monthly injection to stay happy and healthy On a special diet Gerard is a senior with the spirit of a much younger cat. This confident and friendly fellow is an explorer at heart, always wandering from room to room and keeping a keen eye on the outside world through windows. He loves watching birds and can get quite excited when he spots another cat—he might even let out a squeak of excitement! He also enjoys jumping up on things and finding high spots to survey his domain. He’s not much for toys, but when it’s treat time, he gets very excited, especially for crunchy snacks. With his luxurious, fluffy coat and gorgeous markings, Gerard is a sight to behold. He loves being brushed, and enjoys pets and skritches. Gerard adapts wonderfully to a new home and bonds quickly to his family—he’ll follow you around and demand lap time.  While Gerard is doing great for his age, he does take a few medications, but don’t let that fool you—he’s still agile, even with arthritis, and can jump up onto the bed without any trouble. Gerard is a social cat who thrives in a calm environment where he can get plenty of human attention. He’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, ready to provide the companionship he craves. If this sounds like you, please fill out our http://form.jotform.com/cattownoak/adoption-inquiries ! Gerard is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is negative for FIV/FeLV. May 12, 2025, 12:35 pm

Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some experience Could join a calm, quiet home with teens Needs to be in a home without dogs May prefer a cat buddy Needs to be indoor only Butterfly's adoption fee is sponsored! Butterfly’s waiting for you, with a heart as warm as the sun she loves to bask in! This shy girl is a sweet wallflower with a gentle soul and a curious mind, preferring to observe the world from a cozy nook or sunny patch of floor. But give her a little time, and Butterfly will inch close, slowly revealing her soft and playful side. When Butterfly’s in the mood to play, she truly lets her inner kitten shine. She loves a good ripple rug, where she bunny-kicks and flops around without a care in the world. Feather wands are another favorite, especially when she’s playing one-on-one without other cats around. And if there’s Churu nearby? She’ll appear out of thin air to politely ask for a taste. Butterfly isn’t the type to demand attention, but she loves being in the mix, watching and learning from the sidelines. She takes her time warming up to new people and places, but once you’re in her circle of trust, she’ll come out more and more, sharing her quiet love and unique charm with the people lucky enough to be in her presence. People she trusts can run a gentle toothbrush along her silky fur and get a sweet lean for chin scratches. While she’ll likely start off preferring her hidey spots, you’ll soon find her basking in the sun, stretching out and enjoying her safe and cozy home. With her long and beautiful fur, Butterfly needs an adopter who’ll commit to regular grooming. It’s worth the effort, though! Since we gave her a little shave to remove some mats, she’s been a totally different cat, more relaxed and open to attention. Her adopter should be ready to give her that gentle care, knowing how much it improves her happiness and well-being. Butterfly is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and positive for FIV. Story
Hi, I’m Andy!  I’m a very friendly and playful little guy who enjoys being petted.  I may be a touch shy at first, but will come out of my shell when I know you want to give me pets and love!  I’m social and love to play with wand toys.  I’m good with children, dogs, other cats, and even get along great with the large Flemish rabbit in my foster home! I was born in September 2024.  I have been fixed, and will be microchipped and up to date on my shots prior to adoption.
