Story
Smokey is friendly and independent. Smokey was surrendered to us after his owner passed and family was no longer able to care for him. After getting him on medication for hyperthyroidism we have seen great improvements in him. He is a sweet boy that doesn't need to much to be happy, just lots of snacks and somewhere to sleep. It doesn't even have to be soft, he seems to prefer the floor 😊 He currently takes a pill for hyperthyroidism twice a day which he will happily eat in a pill pocket. He is also recommended to be on kidney food due to mild kidney disease. Smokey is being fostered in Worcester.

Story
Hi, I'm a black beauty with a little bit of an attitude but for the right family and/or home situation, I think things could work out fine. I can be very friendly and curious at times. As always before adoption, all cats are spay/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccines if old enough, flea and dewormer treatments if necessary.

Story
Meet Milo! He is an approximately 8 year old, neutered male who was found outside. It was evident upon trapping Milo that he was sweet but hesitant. As time passed he has gotten more adjusted to people and meows to ask for pets. He follows his foster around cuddles up close by. After a slow introduction he now gets along with a small, submissive Yorkie currently sharing his temporary home. Milo still jumps at quick movements so he would need a patient, experienced person who understands his history and allows him to come to you in his own time. Also due to this, Milo would do best in a home without small children. If you are interested in adopting Milo, you can complete a non-commitment application on our website: www.baystateanimals.org or cut and paste the application link below: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdIZOY9nMLLFFSLbblBd7C8A_0KBaorWtAvhbGoElNJDII-Jw/viewform?c=0&w=1 We have a $175 adoption fee for our cats that includes; spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccines, feline leukemia test, FIV test if over 6 months of age, microchip, flea treatment and roundworm treatment as needed, additional treatments as deemed necessary. Thank you and if you do not hear from one of our volunteers in a reasonable amount of time please do not hesitate to reach out to us!May 9, 2024, 5:34 pm

Story
Coco is very beautiful with her bright green outlined eyes - she knows it too. She will purr and make biscuits just looking at you. She likes to be pet from head first down to tail. She has a pretty, soft, fluffy coat. She loves to get attention and to pose for silly pictures. Her favorite treat is boiled skinless boneless chicken breast and a catnip toy on the side. She would be a great addition to your loving family. She would be happiest in a home with no dogs, other cats, or children.
