Story
Patrick was introduced to our family when he was just a kitten. Ever since he has been a very loving cat in our home. Patrick is 6 years old, and is great with everyone. We always called him “a friend to all”. He was born with only half of a tail, which just adds to his quirky, fun character. He is a beautiful boy who enjoys pets, cuddles, and attention. He is a very laid back cat, and would be the perfect addition to any home. However, my family has fallen into hardship money wise, and Patrick has begun to lose weight and go potty outside his litterbox. He is urinating more than usual. He needs to see a vet as soon as possible, but my family just does not have the money to make that possible at this time. Once his medical needs are met, he is nothing but an amazing cat and friend. It breaks my heart to see him go, but I know he will make any family very happy.

Story
Hi, my name is Waldo! My story is a rather happy and sad one all at the same time. I lived with my mom and a lot of other cat-siblings. I loved my mom. We lived a happy life, all of us together. However, since we had too many siblings for one person to handle our health started to decline, despite how well our mom tried to take care of us. I am now looking for a quiet home with a forever family. We were covered in fleas, so some of us have hair missing from the fleas. We have since been treated and are happy to announce we no longer have fleas! We have all been tested for FIV/FELV and are negative. We have been dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received flea prevention. Although, we should not need any medical attention I should still see a vet within a month to get established with your veterinarian. Since being with Macomb County Animal Control, I have been a little shy and quiet. Being removed from the only home I know, the only family I know, and only to be transported to a new place with lots of other animal smells & new people smells… it’s a lot for me to handle all at once. I hope you can understand that. Once I feel safe and have had tie to decompress and get used to my new surroundings (again), I will open up and be your best friend if given the chance. If you are interested in adopting Waldo or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. Story
Bobbi Approximately 10yr old female orange Tabby. Medium hair Up to date on shots, spayed, has all her claws and wants to keep them! She uses scratching post, never claws on furniture. Purrrfect litterbox manners. Extremely sweet, gentle lady. She would do well with another sweet cat or gentle cat loving dog. Also would do well as only pet. She's very hard of hearing and would be considered special needs. Located in Clinton Township. Story
Niko and Milo were barn cat brothers who can to us a couple months back. They came from the same litter. They are neutered. These boys are just over a year old. Between our busy schedule and my daughters allergies we just can’t keep them. They are happy playful wonderful boys who need a good home. It’s hard to see then go as they really are amazing loving cats. The mostly grey one Niko is more adventurous but loves under the cover snuggles. Milo is a more cautious boy who loves tummy rubs. Both have been around kids with no issues. They have not been around other dogs or cats so I’m unsure there. These two love to play mortal combat Ninja play together and cuddle with one another. Litter box trained and eat dry cat food. They are a tad on the heavy side lol

Story
Say hello to Zucchini! A lovable guy who will make a great companion. Zucchini is used to the comforts of home and can't wait until he can leave the shelter and go back to being loved and pampered. He is a sensitive boy who might take a minute to warm up to new faces and would be happiest with older kids, teens, and adults. Once he feels comfy, he loves to rub up on legs and beg for pets. He enjoys people who will play with him. If you are ready to have a fun loving companion who loves to explore, Zucchini might be the cat for you!
