Story
Rika is a sweet, gentle girl looking for a loving new home. She’s a total cuddle bug who enjoys lounging on the bed or couch, and her favorite place to be at night is right on your chest, soaking up pets and attention. She has a calm, quiet personality and rarely meows, making her a peaceful companion. Rika is fully litter trained (including litter robots) and is very well-behaved—she’ll even go downstairs to use her litter box, no matter where it’s placed. She’s independent but affectionate, and she naturally settles in for bedtime when you do. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her loving personality really shines. While she’s not a big fan of other cats, she can tolerate them ( lives with 2 other cats atm ). Her experience with dogs and children is unknown. If you’re looking for a quiet, affectionate companion who loves cozy nights and close cuddles, Rika could be the perfect match. 💕

Story
My name is Shadow. I'm a gorgeous black (panther) house cat.  At first, I might seem a little shy, but once I settle in and get to know you,  I'm great fun.  I love to play, explore, treats, and hanging out with my cat friends .  I would love to be adopted with my sibling Luna... or to a family with another friendly kitty cat.   I do have a small amount of thinned hair. The vet says it is part of me recovering from a skin infection, which I was already treated for.   Do I sound like the perfect fit for your family? I have my vetting done!  I have been spayed, had my vaccinations, tested for FIV/FELV, preventative flea & dewormer, and I'm microchipped. So, what are you waiting for? If you'd like to meet me,  fill out an application . There is no obligation, it just starts the conversation.   Approx DOB 07/26/2024   Did you know?  Every  Saturday & Sunday  Frisco Humane Society has  Adopt-A-Pet  events at  PetSmart  at 3333 Preston Road, Frisco, TX. FHS has different adoptable cats there all weekend & adoption counselors on site to help, from  Noon - 4 p.m.  Interested in one of our cats/dogs? First step: Fill out the required adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living outside of the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our cats/dogs will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs-age appropriate), FeLV/FIV test (cat/litter), microchipped, and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in foster homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval. Story
Meow there. Sambuca; that is me! A cute girl with the purrfect personality. A one-of-a-kind cat! I am sweet, playful, and affectionate. What more could one want in a furry companion? I am also just gorgeous! I have the softest and fluffiest fur! This is not my first go around with finding a furrever home. I was actually adopted as a kitten through Kitty Save. Unfortunately, I ended back on the same path, looking for a furrever home once again. Since being back with Kitty Save, they have noticed that I do have some needs that my caretakers identify as "special needs". I have IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease). This is an inflammatory response that, similarly in humans, affects my GI tract. Because of this, I must be on a special diet so that my GI system is not in constant overload of enzymes and proteins that it dislikes. I also have a medication that I take to keep the inflammation at bay. Since being on my new diet and medication, I have been SO much better! I am gaining weight and am looking so much healthier! Also, I tend to do better in environments that do not have young children. Older and calmer kids suit my energy level better. Sometimes too much energy that kids have can be a lot for a gal like me to handle. However, I don't want this to stop you from meeting me, because I am just as sweet as can be. And I 100% guarantee that once you meet me, you will just not be able to leave without me! If you think that I am the kitty for you, then meet me at The Charming Cat Corner!
