Story
Kelbi (aka Clover) is a stunning brindle German Shepherd with a big personality and an even bigger heart for her people. She is incredibly loyal, loving, and happiest when she’s close to her favorite humans — whether that means following you from room to room, curling up nearby, or trying to convince you she’s actually lap-sized. She’s the kind of dog who forms a deep bond and wants to be part of everything you do, including bathroom trips.   Kelbi is smart, playful, and knows her basic commands well. She loves playing fetch off leash, tug-of-war, and entertaining herself with her favorite toys. She also does well playing with small dogs and enjoys having canine companions around. At night, she sleeps peacefully at the foot of the bed with her beloved stuffed security toy, “Stuffi,” always nearby. One of her cutest quirks is her signature look — usually one ear up and one ear down, unless she’s alert and both ears pop straight up at attention.   Like many shepherds, Kelbi is naturally protective and devoted to her people. She would thrive with someone who understands the breed, appreciates her loyal nature, and wants a true companion by their side. Kelbi has so much love to give and is looking for someone who will love her just as deeply in return. ##2547614##

Story
Meet Sophie! Sophie is a beautiful 10-year-old Dutch Shepherd who proves that age is just a number. While she may be entering her golden years, this lovely lady still has plenty of life, curiosity, and love left to share with the lucky family who welcomes her home. Sophie is the definition of a gentle soul. She enjoys the company of people and other dogs, but she`s not one for chaos or drama. She`s happiest in calm environments where she can take things at her own pace and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. When meeting new people, Sophie is friendly and approachable, though she appreciates gentle introductions and respectful handling. She`s affectionate without being demanding and enjoys spending time near her people, quietly soaking up companionship and attention. Around other dogs, Sophie is polite and social but prefers friends who share her mature outlook on life. While she`ll happily exchange greetings and gentle sniffs, she isn`t interested in overly rambunctious playmates. In fact, if another dog comes on too strong, Sophie is quick to excuse herself and create some space. She`s a classy lady who prefers manners over mayhem. Despite being a senior, Sophie still enjoys getting out for walks, exploring her surroundings, and staying active. She has a moderate energy level and would benefit from regular exercise and enrichment balanced with plenty of opportunities to relax and recharge. Sophie can occasionally show signs of stress or uncertainty in busy environments, and she appreciates slow, patient introductions to new situations. Because of this, she would likely be happiest in a calm household without young children. Sophie has spent a lifetime gathering wisdom, and now she`s ready to enjoy the rewards of a loving forever home. She`s not looking for constant excitement—just a comfortable bed, a kind family, and someone to share her days with. If you`ve been searching for a loyal companion who still enjoys life`s adventures but knows the value of slowing down to enjoy the moment, Sophie may be your perfect match. Come meet this sweet senior girl and discover why the best dogs only get better with age.

This adorable brindle girl has a happy-go-lucky disposition and enough wiggles to brighten even the cloudiest day! Cubby is currently thriving in her foster home with both male and female dogs. She loves to play tug-of-war and wrestle but she also understands boundaries, takes corrections well, and knows when it’s time to settle in for some cozy snuggles with her doggy friends. And when it comes to her people, Cubby is all heart. She adores her humans and is quick to show them her affection. With her soft, velvety fur, she’s basically a professional cuddle bug! Whether you’re ready for an outdoor adventure or a lazy couch day, Cubby is all in. She’s uses the doggy door like a pro to go potty in the yard and sleeps quietly through the night in her crate. She’s highly treat-motivated and eager to please, making her a fun and easy pup to train. She’s wonderful with kids and loves showing them her signature wiggles and puppy hugs. Cubby travels well in the car and is always ready for her next adventure. Foster mom absolutely adores this little girl and knows Cubby is going to make one very lucky family incredibly happy. Story
Brindle, bright-eyed, and full of heart, Diesel is the best mix of athlete and goofball. He loves people, makes soft eye contact, and is eager to work for treats or toys-classic Dutchie! His favorite toy is a blue & pink rugby ball. He has done well meeting friendly dogs with proper introductions and respectful play. He gets excited fast and will need someone to give him proper outlet and structure. We recommend a working-breed-savvy, active home that enjoys training and enrichment. Teens/older kids who can participate in his routine could work; cats are unknown. After activity, he settles nicely and leans in for affection-loyal, attentive, and ready to be someone's shadow. If you've been looking for a smart partner to adventure with and train, this boy is your guy. Quick highlights 1.5 years old, Dutch Shepherd (brindle male) • Social, affectionate, toy & food motivated (loves fetch) • Enjoys hikes/runs/training games • Dog-friendly with proper intro; cats unknown • Best with shepherd-savvy, active adopters Diesel is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He's currently located in Vallejo CA

Story
Flash is an absolutely gorgeous boy who has the personality to match. He is a sweet little chicken. Flash would benefit from some confidence building and socialization. He is pretty good on leash and does listen to corrections. Flash does seem to be potty trained, however when he has to go… he will go. On walks he does startle easily by loud noises, but he is also curious about the funniest things. A mountain of dirty was really interesting. In the office, he practically glued himself to me. I could not go more than a couple feet without having a fuzzy shadow. Flash has the attention span of a squirrel, his is always looking around and watching everything. Lots of things are very new to Flash, he does not know how toys work. Hot dogs are by far his favorite thing. Once Flash is comfortable, he can be the silliest little boy. He play bows and does the cutest little zoomies. He can be a bit mouthy but it is extremely gentle. Flash would love a quiet but active home where he can learn the ins and outs of life, while still getting his wiggles out. I think he would do fine with mannerly children. Flash is ready to find his forever home and settle down with someone!! Please give this beautiful boy a chance! Flash does ok with mix and mingle male and female dogs. He does NEED slow introductions, and it takes a while for him to relax around other does. He does seem to be more comfortable around the male dogs.

Story
Knight came into our lives as a puppy through a rescue and has been a beloved member of our family ever since. Watching him grow into the loyal, loving dog he is today has been an incredible experience, which makes this decision heartbreaking. We recently moved into a new home that has proven unsafe for him. Despite our efforts, he has repeatedly found ways to get out, putting his safety at risk. We also own and operate a licensed family childcare business, and we can no longer give Knight the time, exercise, and attention that a 100-pound dog deserves. This decision is not because of any behavioral issues—Knight is house-trained, crate-trained, great with children, gentle with cats, and has never shown aggression. We love him deeply and are looking for a safe, permanent home where he can receive the attention, space, and companionship he deserves. Our only goal is to ensure Knight has the happy, secure future every dog deserves.

Story
Meet Magnum! This 4 year old, handsome guy is well aware of people walking past with their jaws dropped. He would love to correct them when they say, “SHE is so gorgeous!” But this guy opts to soak up the compliments instead.  Despite looking like a teddy bear, this guy would thrive with a human who sets boundaries (he’s already used to them!) and continue to foster his confidence by being a leader.  Magnum spent a little time fostered by a dog trainer before moving in with his current foster family. He loves to show off his basic commands (sit, down, recall, door boundaries etc.),  and is perfectly happy going in his crate at bedtime. He is also house trained to perfection. He loves to work! He may be a fun scent work or barnhunt dog.  Magnum is thriving in his foster home with a male & female large breed dog. The introductions were slow, but he has learned their play styles & has found his place in the pack. He would prefer neutral and mature housemates. Magnum also lives with 4 outdoor cats and lucky thing those cats are smart & fast because he will chase. It would be best for there to be no cats or small animals in his forever home. Magnum relishes the role of supervisor. Shower, bathroom, home office? He will monitor. Driving, yard work, cooking? He will keep you company. He adores his human & could also very easily thrive as an only dog.  You probably already know that a fine young gentleman like Magnum gets his workouts in regularly. Weekends are for hiking in Tahoe and weekdays he gets his steps on local trails and neighborhood walks. Sprint workouts (aka zoomies!) in the fenced yard are also lots of fun! He is currently learning ecollar recall for off leash adventures and is a star student!  He is a very healthy boy who eats a nice, healthy kibble twice a day with a few gently taken treats for fun. Magnum “Mags” is going to keep being fabulous while he waits for an equally fabulous adopter to welcome him home!  ##2491768##
