Story
Dutch the Dutch Shepherd is a male 1-1/2 year old. He is neutered. House trained and very lovable. He has lots of energy as he is still a puppy. He is also chill and loves napping. He sleeps in his kennel with the door open all night. He doesn’t wake us up till we get up. He loves his walks and is very good on leash. He is sometimes very eager to walk and can’t stay still long enough to put collar on. He does live with a cat and they play together. He has never hurt his cat. He still needs more training.

Story
We adopted Odin from the Atlanta Humane Society when he was a puppy. He is beyond a good dog. He is now seven, and we are unable to give him the exercise he requires. Our schedule doesn't allow us to be as active as it used to be for him. This has caused him to act out by eating off the counters, growling if our baby gets near him, and occasionally showing obedience. This is all on us since we can't get him stimulated as he needs, and that hurts me. I want him to go somewhere that he will get all the attention and exercise that his breed desires. He is a good boy and an awesome companion when he gets to work. He is a bit wild around other dogs, so some may want to fight, but he is friendly if they are equally wild. The fee is to ensure he goes to someone who really wants him and can afford to provide for him.

Story
Meet Amber Leah – Loyal, Smart & Ready for Home Amber Leah is a 2–3-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of love and resilience. She’s 56 lbs, gaining strength every day, and showing her playful, loyal spirit. Amber is house-trained, crate-comfortable, and enjoys toys, bones, and staying close to her people. She already knows how to sit, stay, and shake, down, wait and she’s eager to keep learning. She loves quiet time on the couch just as much as playtime in the yard. She has Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency (PEI), a common GSD condition that simply requires an enzyme with each meal—an easy routine that helps her thrive. Amber would do best as the only pet, though with slow introductions she can live with another dog. She’s still practicing leash manners and learning to relax around other dogs. Her ideal home is probably a calmer suburban setting with a privacy fence, but with the right person and structure she can thrive anywhere. Amber Leah is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. If you’ve ever loved a German Shepherd, you know how deep that bond can be—Amber is ready to share it with you. Apply to adopt Amber Leah today.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          November 28, 2025, 7:17 pm

Story
Meet Marley – A Loyal Heart Looking for a Confident Leader! Marley is a beautiful shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger desire to please the people she trusts. She’s house-trained, well-mannered in the home, and gets along with other dogs and older children. True to her breed, Marley is intelligent, observant, and eager to learn — she just needs the right person to help her shine. Marley can be a little unsure in new situations and is sensitive to loud noises, so she’ll do best in a calm, predictable environment with someone experienced with shepherds or confident handling large breeds. She thrives on structure, enrichment, and gentle leadership that helps her build trust and confidence. Marley loves her meals but can be a bit protective of her food, so a family that understands boundaries and positive training will help her feel secure. In return, she’ll reward you with loyalty, love, and the joy of watching her blossom into her best self. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will give her whole heart once she feels safe, Marley may just be the perfect match. Please note, we receive a large number of applications.
