This handsome little guy is incredibly friendly and loving, He is great with small children and peo[le in general and warms up to people quickly. He’s very obedient, quiet (not a barker!), and gets along great with all other dogs. He is great on a leash. and really has no issues at all. He’s playful, super affectionate, and fully house trained—making him a perfect companion for a loving home. BAMBI was sadly surrendered when his loving owner was deported to Mexico. Meet Ravioli, a truly special and loving boy who’s searching for his forever home. Ravioli was found as a stray, a surprising fate given his limited mobility. It's likely he was dumped after losing the use of his hind legs. He likely has Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), a condition that’s relatively common in French Bulldogs, which has significantly affected his hind legs.Due to his condition, Ravioli’s ability to walk is quite limited. He can occasionally stand and take a few steps but often needs help to get around. He has a wheelchair that helps him, but he is also comfortable scooting, using his front legs to propel him forward. Ravioli also requires his bladder and bowels to be expressed several times a day to prevent infections, as he is unable to potty on his own. Our dedicated staff is more than happy to teach you how to care for him in this way if you’re considering making him a part of your family.Ravioli is a sweetheart through and through. His gentle and friendly nature shines through, and he adores human attention. Despite his mobility challenges, he has a warm and loving demeanor that endears him to everyone he meets. Ravioli also gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. He’s a big fan of cuddles and treats, making him a great companion. Chiclet was found dragging herself around the streets, unable to use her hind legs, before being impounded at a local shelter. Her journey didn’t stop there—shortly after we picked her up, Chiclet had a major health scare and ended up in emergency care. She fought through a pyometra, severe dehydration, and a nasty kidney infection, and somehow, this tough cookie pulled through. Today, she carries a look that says, “I stared death in the face and won!!!”At around 5 years old, Chiclet is a ray of sunshine. She’s sweet to everyone she meets and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Although she’s paralyzed in her hind legs, that doesn’t slow her down—she’s a pro at scooting around using her front legs, and she thrives when using her wheelchair. Chiclet’s zest for life is nothing short of inspiring!Caring for Chiclet does come with a few special needs.
