Story
Spaz is my name and fun is my game! I am 5 years old, and I LOVE to play! I am a very active 15 lb. dog that will need space to run, walks and someone to play with! I am good with older children but may be too active for younger ones. Crate training is finished and I am working on house and leash training. Toys are extra fun and keep me busy too! If you’re looking for handsome, fun, energetic, adventurous, loving and true, I’m your guy! Ask for me, Spaz in your application at the link below and let’s start our furever life together asap!

Story
Lucky Girl is a laid-back 6-year-old puggle mix who is looking for a forever family to chill with! This gal’s simple pleasures include back scratches, warm beds, and bones. She gets an A+ in house training and is polite with children and other dogs who are calm. Lucky Girl came to DFW Pug Rescue Club, Inc. with some mysterious skin and fur issues, and our vets quickly pinpointed low thyroid levels as the cause. Her skin is on the mend, but she will need to be on lifetime medication at a cost of about $10 per month. We think that’s a small price to pay for having this mellow, loving girl as your lifetime companion! If you’re feeling Lucky 😉, fill out an adoption application for this lovely lady at www.dfwpugs.com.

Story
If an underbite leaves you overjoyed, we’d like for you to meet Ollee, a one-and-a-half year old black pug! In addition to sporting a lovely set of pearly whites, this sweet boy is crate-trained and almost 100% housetrained. Ollee loves to play with other dogs (tug is one of his favorite pastimes) and will even try to initiate playtime with the cat in his foster home. He is quite possibly the world’s cutest food thief, executing his crimes with stealth and precision when his foster dog siblings dare to glance away from their bowls. Ollee can be a bit slower to warm up to humans, and it can take some time and patience to earn his trust; once you’ve earned it, though, he turns into a full-on Velcro pug who frequently seeks cuddles! Because Ollee has a bit of puppy energy in him and still engages in play biting, an adults-only home or a home with older children would be best. If you’d like to give Ollee and his choppers a permanent place in your heart and on your lap, apply for him at dfwpugs.com!

Story
Look closely: Stetson is not a Western hat, but a pug available for adoption! This high-energy 2-year-old boy’s favorite things are playing with balls and chew toys and beating the heat by splashing around in a kiddie pool. He also loves showing off his housetraining, crate training, and doggie door training skills, especially if you entice him with treats. Stetson is food-motivated boy who shows much enthusiasm during his mealtimes, finding it hard to calm down when a tasty bowl of goodness is served up before him. Overall, Stetson is a happy and expressive boy who wears his heart on his furry little sleeve – he even tinkles a bit when he’s really excited (and who among us can’t say the same?). He is loving with adults and kids alike, but we think he would do best in a home with older kids, as he shows his affection by jumping at times. His ideal home will provide him with ample exercise, some gentlemanly manners training, and love. If you’d like to tip your hat to Stetson, apply for him at dfwpugs.com.
