Story
Titan is a big, lovable boy with an even bigger heart. This gentle giant adores attention and affection — he’s happiest when he’s close to his people, soaking up all the love he can get. This lucky boy is enjoying his time in a loving foster home until we can find his right match forever home. Here’s what his fosters have to say about him; “Titan is always up for an adventure, he’s the perfect co-pilot for car rides, errands, or exploring new places. He doesn’t need a fancy outing to have fun — he just wants to be by your side! Titan has been polite and friendly with every dog he’s met while in foster care. While he’s not quite sure how to “play” yet, he’s content to peacefully coexist with his canine companions. (He hasn’t met any cats yet.) He’s making great progress with housetraining and sleeps quietly through the night on his cozy dog bed. Titan was rescued just in time from a local municipal shelter, and he’s shown every day that he’s grateful for his second chance. He’s ready to find a forever family who will give him the love and security he deserves.” If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your days with love, Titan is your guy!

This handsome fellow has a striking appearance, with his beautiful short coat that's is as soft as a cloud. But it's not just Buddy's looks that will draw you in-it's his remarkable personality that shines through. One of Buddy's most endearing qualities is his gentle nature. He takes treats with the utmost care, never nipping or snatching. This delightful trait demonstrates his understanding and respect for boundaries, making him an absolute pleasure to be around. Buddy's eagerness to learn also sets him apart, as he readily picks up new commands and thrives on mental stimulation. When it comes to leash manners, Buddy is a star pupil. He walks beside you with minimal pulling, making your adventures together an absolute joy. This is a testament to his great training and his desire to please. Whether you're strolling through the park or exploring new trails, Buddy will be right by your side, enjoying every moment of the journey. He would do well in a peaceful and consistent environment, surrounded by loads of affection. This special pup's journey led him to the Milo Foundation Sanctuary, where he found safety and care after being lost. Now, it's our mission to find Buddy the loving forever home he deserves-a place where he can feel secure, cherished, and surrounded by a family that appreciates his unique qualities. German Shepherd Dog

Male, Young
Richmond, CA
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Striking young GSD (1.5–2 yrs, 75 lbs), big heart & bright mind. Indoor superstar: deeply affectionate snuggler, loves touch/toys/tennis balls, sit/down/come in just 7 weeks, family + kids always felt safe indoors. Gentle. Crate pro (sprints in), quiet overnight sleeper, settles post-play. No food/resource issues, baths OK. Tough past: prior poor protection training → leash reactivity (growl/lunge) to dogs (high), also humans/sudden movements. One minor redirect nip on me (leash incident w/ off-leash dog). Private outdoor time only now—no dog parks/daycares/public walks. Social upside: Shelter dog play daily (calm/gentle); composed 30–50ft from neutral dog in trainer session (redirected on cue). Found stray; stress amplified reactivity but warmed up sweetly. High potential: Instantly knew slip-lead cues (prior tool experience), eager learner. Needs experienced handler (working GSDs/protection rehab) w/ private outdoor space. Adult-only, no kids/pets/visitors to start

Circe = Ball Chaser, Water Lover, Cuddle-Bug, Superstar! Are you looking for a high-energy, loyal companion with a touch of mischief and a heart of gold? Meet Circe, a young adult, petite Malinois who checks all the boxes for an active, dedicated home. Circe is crate trained, potty trained, and sleeps through the night like a pro. She’s great on leash and loves meeting new people—welcoming guests into the home with a wagging tail and curious sniffs. True to her Malinois nature, Circe is sharp, energetic, and ready for action. She lives for fetch and could chase her ball for hours if you wanted and your arm held out! She is GREAT at fetch. She's also a total water baby—splashing in the pool might just be her favorite way to cool off after playtime. And she will love any body of water out on adventures or chilling by the lake….beach romps! She’s incredibly gentle when taking treats and thrives with routine and structure. Circe would do best with someone familiar with working breeds or ready to engage her mind and body through training, games, and adventure. With her athleticism and drive, she could excel in sports like agility, FastCAT, or dock diving. If you're ready for a smart, loving pup who’s equal parts working dog and playful goofball, Circe might just be your perfect match, she is a gem!
