Story
Titan is a big, lovable boy with an even bigger heart. This gentle giant adores attention and affection — he’s happiest when he’s close to his people, soaking up all the love he can get. This lucky boy is enjoying his time in a loving foster home until we can find his right match forever home. Here’s what his fosters have to say about him; “Titan is always up for an adventure, he’s the perfect co-pilot for car rides, errands, or exploring new places. He doesn’t need a fancy outing to have fun — he just wants to be by your side! Titan has been polite and friendly with every dog he’s met while in foster care. While he’s not quite sure how to “play” yet, he’s content to peacefully coexist with his canine companions. (He hasn’t met any cats yet.) He’s making great progress with housetraining and sleeps quietly through the night on his cozy dog bed. Titan was rescued just in time from a local municipal shelter, and he’s shown every day that he’s grateful for his second chance. He’s ready to find a forever family who will give him the love and security he deserves.” If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your days with love, Titan is your guy!

Story
Wendy is a gentle, sweet, and easygoing girl with a naturally calm presence. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and has a lovely social style—if another dog comes on a bit strong, she calmly de-escalates or respectfully asks for space. She is housebroken and was clearly well cared for and loved. Wendy is a true “Velcro dog” who enjoys staying close to her person, happily following you from room to room without being overly demanding for attention. She simply wants to be near her people. Playful and surprisingly agile for her age, she enjoys toys and light playtime, and she moves with ease and flexibility. She has excellent manners around resources with no signs of food or possession issues. At night, she sleeps peacefully and quietly without needing a crate, and so far has not shown a strong need for confinement. On leash, Wendy walks very well and is a pleasure to take out and about. She has a kind, cooperative nature and genuinely seems to want to do the right thing. With slow, supervised introductions, she appears to be potentially workable with cats. Overall, Wendy is a soft-hearted, affectionate companion who brings a quiet joy to those around her—a truly delightful dog who will bring joy and companionship to any home.

Zara is a bright, affectionate, and engaging companion who truly thrives on connection with her people. She forms strong bonds quickly and loves being the center of attention—whether she’s rolling over for belly rubs or gently nudging your hand to ask for more affection. Zara is eager to learn and highly trainable, already knowing a variety of cues and picking up new skills with impressive speed. She enjoys a nice balance of activity and relaxation, happily joining her people for outdoor time and then settling in for a cozy, laid-back morning at home. Zara would do best in a home that can provide her with clear, confident guidance and a consistent routine, where she can continue to shine and feel secure. Zara is best suited for a home where she can be the focus or paired with a well-matched canine companion, with thoughtful, gradual introductions to set everyone up for success. Story
Meet Honey, one of those dogs who is beautiful from the inside out. From her deep inquisitive eyes and her luxurious brindle coat, to her affectionate loyalty and playful spirit, she will steal your heart in a second. Intelligent and athletic, Honey thrives with structure and adventure. She enjoys off-leash pack walks and is a joy to train. In foster care, she has shown that she is an excellent candidate for sport dog and more advanced training. She is also devoted to her person. While she does love and revere her humans, Honey also loves the company of other dogs. Her perfect housemate would be a large playful adult male who wants to chase and wrestle with her. She does well with all small dogs too. Honey is crate-trained and prefers a cozy crate, covered and away from noise, where she can chew on a tasty treat. She does not destroy bedding, but is a strong chewer, so she needs something to keep her busy while she settles in. Honey is a healthy, spayed 2-3 year old 80lb Shepherd mix. She is crate-trained, has beautiful teeth and a gorgeous coat, knows basic commands (and learning more!), is food-motivated, does well in the car, and walks nicely on leash. She is currently on bladder support supplements because she tends to dribble when she is excited to see her people. It isn’t constant, and the supplements seem to help. Her prey drive is not strong. We believe she could learn to live with a cat. It is our strong preference that she live with another dog, but not a requirement. We recommend no small children and require secure fencing. If you are looking for your soulmate, please reach out. Honey is waiting for you! Email waggytaylor@gmail.com to set up a time to meet her. California Pit bull Rescue is an official 501(c)(3) and requires an adoption application and $200 donation fee for all adoptions.May 5, 2026, 1:31 pm

Story
Benito is 15 weeks old now. I got him for free at a flea market. It was an impulse. I didn’t realize how active his breed is. He’s on his chewing stage so he chews up everything. I’m not able to have him inside the house because I have three cats and he is not potty trained. He’s too playful and jumps on everything. Chews on everything. He needs a home and lots of care he loves walks. He’s very active requires attention and lots of toys. He’s very sweet. My aggressive at all.
