Rastus is a sweet and giant boy. He loves to play fetch and with toys, but also loves a good play session with his dog "bro" at the foster home. He is quick to learn but needs basic command training.  (He did learn to "sit" in 1 day) and is anxious to learn more. He's more toy-motivated than treat-motivated which we find so sweet. If you want to be in agility competitions, Rastus is your guy.  He jumps big and has such a fun personality. He loves affection and belly rubs.  Rastus would do best in a larger yard with a tall Non climbable fence.  He doesn't mind new friends, kids, and adults coming to visit. Rastus is going to make a perfect fur-ever friend! STAFF NOTES from his sending shelter - WHAT A WONDERFUL DOG! Rastus is one of my favorites in the shelter!    He's such a ball of fun and is past the shoe-chewing stage!    He's wonderful with the dogs that he's met and he loves to play chase and fetch! He's very well-mannered and is calm for a GSD, he's not wild and hyper. He's mature for his age and is hysterical to watch him play! An all-around happy-go-lucky guy with an adventurous heart!
