Ryder is a big boy that loves to play fetch and his chest rubbed. He can be anxious at times if he doesn't exert enough energy or get to play during the day. Great with strangers and so far all pets. He gets decently jealous when giving other dogs attention and will squeeze his way in to be pet. He about 3.5 - 4 years old (not 100% sure as we rescued him). He is a healthy with occasional ear irritation from allergies. He is not super concerned with what is around him when getting where he needs do go but can squeeze through tight spaces.

Story
Hello!! Mila is a sweet, just over two years old, German Shepherd. She is kennel trained, potty trained, and loves toys. She does need some training re: eating things she shouldn’t when left alone. I’m leaving a domestic situation with a young baby and can’t emotionally or physically give her what she needs and deserves. I just want her to find a loving home!

Story
Bill was just pulled from the euthanasia list at ACS in San Antonio. This sweet boy didn't deserve to be there and is one of the lucky ones to get a chance to be a Colorado dog. We can't wait to see this boy flourish outside the stressful shelter environment and Bill is already so loved in his San Antonio foster home doing great on car rides and cuddling on the couch like Netflix and Chill was invented by him.  In the shelter Bill showed sociability by coming over for affection with a wagging tail and tucked ears. He was easy to leash and walk outside where he seemed nervous with tucked ears. He displayed sociability greeting an adult female dog appropriately where both were nervous with tucked tails and tucked ears. Both dogs were able to co-exist, sniff the yard, receive affection from handlers, and easily returned to kennel. A note from Bill's Volunteer Dog Walker! I got to hang out with the sweetest mellow fellow in yellow today! Bill is a little shy at first, but the more love he gets, the more he comes out of his shell! He was a happy boy who didn't make a peep our whole walk! He does fantastic on the leash and never pulled! He loved people bird watching and smelling all the smells on our stroll. He is very gentle when taking treats, and was super calm the whole time we spent together. He also loved getting his back scratched. This sweet and gentle boy runs on love and sunshine! Bill has already made his way up from San Antonio, Texas to Colorado and is being fostered in Denver! ##2265187##

Story
Meet LUNA! Female, 100% German Shepherd, born 11/10/24 The GSD puppies are very good and well behaved. They live with a family who have 4 small kids, ages 1, 2, 3 and 4. Luna is the more shy puppy. Both Luna and Stella are very gentle, sweet, and very quiet- they don't bark! The puppies were being kept mostly outdoors and crated, but now that Luna and Stella have moved to a foster home they are adjusting to being indoors, potty training, and walking on a leash. They are used to being around kids, but are not used to being around other dogs, so they feel intimidated by other dogs and are getting used to them.  Luna is being fostered in San Antonio, Texas, awaiting a foster or adopter to welcome her into their home so she can hop on the transport to Denver, Colorado. ##2336360##

Story
My name is Dana I am almost two. I was adopted a couple summers ago, but my older sister has started picking fights with me, so my dad wants me to live somewhere safer for me. I am a very smart german shepherd cross. I have learned how to open the back door by myself and to get out of any chain link fence by opening the gate. I need a home where I can fulfill my active lifestyle. I am a very active girl and enjoy running around and wrestling with my siblings. I currently live with my older sister and a dachshund brother. I like to play, and have a rowdy playstyle, so would be best matched with another dog that appreciates that! I am very smart and have learned how to sit and stay. I look forward to meeting you and hoping you can teach me new and wonderful things. If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##1745197##

Story
Ellie is a very sweet Belgian Malinois. Belgian Malinois are high-energy working dogs and requires a lot of attention. She can run for hours on end and not get tired. However, after a training session of only 15-20 minutes she will be tired beyond belief! She is partially trained and knows a lot of commands. She knows sit, down (lay), wait (stay), care (calm), safe (get out of an area), and place. Place is a command where she knows to put all 4 paws on an area that you point to. We are rehoming Ellie due to our work schedule. It does not allow us to give Ellie the proper attention she deserves. She will be a great addition to your home as both a companion, and a protector. Would not recommend to be in a home with cats due to her high energy. We do not have any children. The adoption fee is set to ensure that she goes to a proper home that has a respect for her breed. She would come with her E-collar as well. Rehoming fee is negotiable.
