Story
Jess is as regal as they come! This pretty girl recently separated from her family due to a lifestyle change. She has enjoyed dog day care and had a variety of neighborhood dogs with whom she routinely spent time. Jess enjoys a variety of treats and toys, leisurely walks, and active weekends. Our volunteers have told us that although she may be initially shy when they first greet her, she is super sweet and loves going out for her walks. She knows how to sit, shake, lay down and roll over, enjoys the "find it game," for treats tossed. She has fun in the play yards, chasing and retrieving balls and other toys.Jess isn't experienced with cats, and at this time, she will only be rehomed to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 65.25 Age: 5yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Sox can be a bit shy and unsure at first, especially in new environments or with new people, but with patience and gentle encouragement she begins to relax and show her sweet personality. Sox has enjoyed canine companionship and playtime, and a confident dog friend in her new home could be a wonderful role model for her. She's looking for a quiet, understanding home that will give her the time and she needs to build trust at her own pace. Sox will be placed in a home without children (or with children 10 or older). Story
Marilyn is an incredibly loving, affectionate girl who's absolutely gonna trust you with her life. She thrives on attention and will happily soak up all the cuddles you’re willing to give. She loves playing with other dogs and truly enjoys being part of the action. She is potty trained and very disciplined — she consistently lets you know when she needs to go outside. On walks, she rarely gets overly distracted and does a great job staying focused. With new people and unfamiliar dogs, Marilyn can be a little alert and curious at first, but she adjusts quickly. In our home, she was introduced (not even very slowly!) to our resident dog and cat and adapted surprisingly fast.  She is very intelligent and already responds to several commands such as sit and lay down. She also waits patiently for her food and won’t eat until you give her permission — even if her bowl is already served. She does need continued obedience training, especially with managing overstimulation, but she is highly trainable and eager to learn. As a mama dog coming from foster care, we believe that once she fully decompresses from the shelter environment and her hormones settle, she will blossom into an even more balanced and wonderful companion. She has all the potential to become an exceptionally obedient dog with consistency and structure. Marilyn would do best in a home where:    •    Items are not left on the floor (she’s still learning!)    •    She has durable chew toys that don’t break easily    •    She has stimulating toys, especially ones that make sounds    •    She gets enough physical and mental exercise to stay balanced She can stay home alone, but she needs to be well-exercised and mentally stimulated beforehand, along with plenty of safe chew toys. Overall, Marilyn is an extremely affectionate, smart, and devoted dog who will thrive with a loving family willing to continue her training and provide structure. Honestly, we have the feeling that she is the kind of dog who would protect and care for you and your kids with her whole heart. With the right guidance, she is going to be an amazing lifelong companion and probably someone's soulmate. ##2610414##

Story
This is Roxy, she’s been a member of our family since she was a puppy and has grown into a strong and beautiful dog. She has some basic training and understands some commands in German. She does great on walks and on leash. Shes about medium to large size and beautiful color. She does good with bigger kids, but it does take her a little to warm up to new people. Would recommend a home with no other animals or no small animals. She is up to date with her vaccinations and healthy. Really want her to go to a good home that will love her and take care of her.
