Story
All people inquiring about pets listed as Courtesy Listings on the EAPL website and/or EAPL posting adoption boards should contact the current pet owner/rescue/shelter for answers to any questions and for final approval and placement. Please do not contact EAPL  about courtesy listings. The pet owner/rescue/shelter and new owner shall make all arrangements on transferring the pet, including information on history, vaccines, etc.  Ace is a 3-year-old German Shepherd mix, weighing about 60 pounds. He’s full of love, energy, and personality. Ace is crate trained, potty trained, and knows his basic commands. He’s great with other dogs, loves trips to the dog park, and enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war. He can be shy with new people at first but warms up quickly and becomes a loyal, affectionate companion. After a good play session, Ace settles down nicely at home and sleeps quietly on his bed at night. He would do best in an active home with plenty of space to run, ideally a yard where he can stretch his legs and play. Ace does get a little car sick on longer rides and is still working on his leash manners, but he’s eager to learn. He’s not a fan of nail trims. Ace is a sweet, happy dog who will thrive with someone who can match his playful spirit and give him the love and attention he deserves. He’s located in Seattle, and a rehoming fee of $75 applies. If you think you might be the right fit for Ace, please reach out to Chia at 757-975-7531. November 4, 2025, 6:37 pm

She is also available on our website (Marcia). Miss has demonstrated excellent behavior with children and can play with them for hours. She is also good with cats and is good about disengaging with them even when they are upset. She will thrive with structure, consistency, and continued socialization to become secure in any environment. She is in a foster home, submit an application on our website to meet her. Please do not contact EAPL  about courtesy listings. The pet owner/rescue/shelter and new owner shall make all arrangements on transferring the pet, including information on history, vaccines, etc.  Teddy is up for adoption!  Teddy is an almost 4 year old German/Australian shepherd mix. He is a smart dog, who learns quickly (was potty trained using a bell in 2 days). He knows basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, shake, bed, come, leave it, walk and free. He does have a sensitive tummy so no beef or chicken. Currently on Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach and Skin salmon and rice formula. For treats we've been limiting it to sweet potato, banana and peanut butter types. Other than that, no  health issues.  He loves to sunbathe and people watch, go on walks, hikes, playing in the snow especially and swimming! He does great at the dog parks and on walks.    Few things to note:  - He is an anxious dog when it comes to loud noises. Such as thunderstorms and fireworks, he will pace and whine and drool excessively, we use a Thundershirt to calm him down.  - He does have a dislike for delivery trucks (UPS, FedEx, Amazon etc) it’s the only time he barks and will run along the fence.  - He loves to play, and is almost 90 lbs so another home with a small dog probably isn't best. -He sleeps in a dog bed or floor, wherever he wants. - And a home without kids is best, he doesn’t like the noise and will go to the door to be let out if the volume gets too high.   He is super handsome and a really great dog who would love a quieter home and lots of love! He will reward you with all his heart. He is currently in Highlands Ranch (Denver area) LuckyDayRescue.org to apply!October 14, 2025, 8:12 pm

Story
Looking for a Loyal and Lovable Companion? Meet Moon, a loving rescue dog ready to be a part of someone's family! Moon is a 4 year old Shepherd/Lab mix. She’s a little chunky lol but should weigh about 60 pounds once she loses a couple pounds :) She is super sweet and a happy dog with a heart full of love. She is affectionate and friendly. She enjoys giving kisses, playtime, car rides, going on walks or cuddling with her humans. Moon is a medium energy dog who is a really good girl. Moon is potty trained if taken out regularly and is doing well with crate training. She's dog friendly tho unknown about cats. She does great with kids and is a very friendly pup. She's a cute girl, who is smart and learns quickly. She is a snuggle bug, who will love you forever, be a loyal companion and eager to please.. Moon's backstory: Moon's owner died unexpectedly and none of the family would take Moon or her 14 year old fur sister Sunny - they ended up at a kill shelter in Southern Colorado. Sunny is also available for a furever foster (due to age) and we’d love them to go to the same home but they would also do well in their own homes.
