She loves to sit back, observe the world around her, and take everything in stride. Like most puppies, Alexis enjoys her naps and can often be found snuggled up after a busy day of learning and exploring. When shes awake, shes eager to please and excited to learn new things. Shes already making great progress walking on a leash, coming when called, and learning basic commands like sit. While her litters DNA results suggest a mix of Great Pyrenees and Shepherd, Alexis seems to be taking after the Shepherd side a bit moreboth in her expected size and in her desire to be close to her people. She loves human companionship and is sure to form a strong bond with her future family. Alexis is doing wonderfully with crate training and is currently being fostered with six other dogs, giving her an excellent foundation for success in her forever home. Shes expected to continue growing into an amazing family companion. This sweet 8-year-old Shepherd has a gentle soul, a constantly wagging tail, and so much love to give to the people around her. She’s fully house trained, happily lets you know when she’d like to go outside, and can be trusted with free roam of the home while you’re away. Baby adores being near her humans, whether she’s lounging on the couch, curled up in her dog bed, or joining you for a leisurely walk around the neighborhood.One of Baby’s most charming qualities is her calm, affectionate nature. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, tolerates cats respectfully, and would likely thrive in a family with children thanks to her patient demeanor. While she can be a little shy with fast movements or sudden pets, a slow and gentle approach quickly earns her trust. Baby is learning her leash manners and enjoys following the lead of her canine friends on walks. She especially loves being outdoors, as long as her favorite people are nearby.Baby’s foster describes her as grateful, loyal, and deeply loving — the kind of companion who simply wants to be cherished and included. Ranch is relaxing in a foster home, but he will be available to meet on Saturday, 06/20, at PetSmart Mount Prospect (101 E. Euclid Ave) from 10 AM to 12 PM! Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet him during open hours! Ranch came to us with his momma, Ensalada, and his 7 siblings from Texas in mid- April at just 3 weeks old. Ensalada and her pups arrived in rough shape, they were flea infested and anemic. Thankfully, they recovered in no time and are now healthy and ready to find their forever homes! Ranch is one happy pup that is just here to have a good time! Ranch is happy with whatever he is doing. Whether it is playing with his siblings, cuddling with a human, playing with a toy or puzzle, he is having a good time and soaking it all in! Ranch went to a temporary foster family while we were closed to the public, and his foster mom writes: "Ranch is doing great! He’s full of energy, loves to keep busy, and his favorite thing to do is go on long walks. He’s also great with kids of all ages!" If you are looking for an all around VGB (very good boy) Ranch is your dude and we hope you will come and meet him today! Ranch's adoption fee is $450. This animal is neutered, and is up to date on core vaccines appropriate for their age. Tiny Balsamic came to us with her momma, Ensalada, and her 7 siblings from Texas in mid- April at just 3 weeks old. Ensalada and her pups arrived in rough shape, they were flea infested and anemic. Balsamic was in the worst shape and required a blood transfusion to help her get healthy. She is now a healthy, active puppy that is ready to find a family to love and spoil her the way she deserves to be! While Balsamic is the smallest of her siblings, that doesn't hold her back! She is ready to romp and wrestle with everyone, but is also very attentive and loving with her human pals. She is very treat motivated and has been picking up on 'Sit'. She will often sit at our feet waiting for a yummy treat to reward her good behavior! Balsamic is eager to please, loves enrichment, and is so affectionate! Balsamic was lucky enough to go to a foster home for a few days while we were closed to the public. Her foster mom writes, "Balsamic is sweetest little snuggle bug with the biggest heart! This sweet girl will win you over with her "play hard, nap hard" motto of life. This smart girl has picked up on potty training so fast she’s ready for anything else you throw her way. If you’re looking for a velcro cuddle companion, Balsamic is the perfect girl for you hands down." She is everything someone could want in a pup, so we hope you will come and meet her soon! He was able to go to temporary foster while we were closed to the public Monday-Thursday. His foster mom writes, "He picked up on potty training quickly and is very good in his crate at night. He is hoping to find a home that is fairly active so he can keep learning and exploring the world!" Roquefort will be a wonderful addition to a home that is looking a sidekick to do everything with, we hope you will come and meet this little cutie soon! Roquefort's adoption fee is $450. This animal is spayed/neutered, and is up to date on core vaccines appropriate for their age.
