Story
Male - 7 months - 45 lbs - Microchipped - Neutered - GAHello! My name is Darius and I am a 7-month-old, 45 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am still young so I should be crated when I am left home alone. I have done well with men, women, and young children after some time to warm up. I can be quite shy and avoidant with new people until I know them. Once I’m comfortable with you, I love to snuggle on the couch and am a super affectionate boy! I love other dogs and would have a confident, playful canine companion in my ideal home. My foster siblings have really helped show me the ropes about this whole living with humans thing! I also absolutely love toys! Emptying the toy basket is one of my favorite pastimes. I am not picky about toys, though I will say destuffing the big plush toys is a great definition of fun! I have even learned how to play fetch! I cannot go to a home with cats. I like going for car rides and am working hard on my leash skills so that I can join my family for more adventures! I have also learned how to sit and come when called while with my foster family. My momma is a White Shepherd and she’s already found a family! I would love to find a patient family of my own to help my confidence continue growing—could that be with you? Story
Male - 1 year - 70 lbs - Microchipped - Neutered - PAHello! My name is Boscoe and I am a 1-year-old, 70 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am currently crated when left home alone at my foster home. I am a social butterfly and am always up for making new friends! I have done well with men, women, and children. I love to snuggle or just be near my humans (which is actually any human, my foster mom tried to explain the concept of a “stranger” to me, but I couldn’t figure it out?) I am equally as happy to meet new dogs! They are awesome and I love to play with my canine friends! I am also happy to play by myself with some toys. I have a non-negotiable requirement of endless supplies of stuffies at my new home! I cannot go to a home with cats. I love getting to join my foster mom on adventures and outings. Car rides? Check. Walking pretty well on leash? Check. Knows some basic commands like sit and come? Also check. If you are looking to add an active, social, shamelessly adorable companion to your life—maybe I could be the pup for you! Story
Male - 6 years - 110 lbs - Microchipped - Neutered - OHHello! My name is Otis and I am a 6-year-old, 110 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained, though I am not currently crated at my foster home. I am a sweet and social boy with men, women, and children. I like to cuddle and be close to my family. I don’t always know my size so may accidentally knock over small children. I am welcoming to visitors to our home. I have done well with other dogs and could do  well with a canine companion, though some dogs may not appreciate my vocalness and demand barking to play. I enjoy toys such as balls, stuffed animals, or ropes! I love to play fetch and would love to have the space available to do so. I am also happy to play tug! I unfortunately cannot go to a home with cats. I have been working hard on my skills so I can join my humans for all the adventures! I like car rides, only pull slightly on lead, and have already learned some basic cues (sit, down, come, leave it). I am a lovely boy who is ready to find my perfect adoptive family—could that be with you? Story
Male - 5 years - 40 lbs - Microchipped - Neutered - NYHi, I’m Ricardo. I’m a 5-year-old, 40 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I use my crate as a safe space mostly; I do not need to be shut in my crate when I am left home alone. I have coexisted well with adults, with a preference for women, though I am very shy and don’t seek much interaction. I will accept calm affection from my foster mom. Most of the time I am happy to people watch from afar. I will need someone willing to be patient as I come around to them and my surroundings in my new home; I had had no or minimal human contact prior to coming to Echo Dogs so this human world is all new to me and I have been trying hard to learn! I love having the company of other dogs and will require at least one confident canine companion to help guide me. I am wonderful about adjusting my play style to match that of the dog I am playing with and all around have good canine social skills. I am also gentle around cats and wouldn’t mind having feline siblings. I have been learning about these things called toys and they’re pretty fun! I especially like the plushy toys and benebones. I have been working hard on leash skills and can now join on quiet outings! I may get nervous at times and need gentle encouragement. I am still pretty uncomfortable with car rides so that is also a work in progress. I have learned to reliably come to my foster mom when she calls me. I currently take clomicalm to help me manage my anxiety. I am a gentle-natured boy who is ready to find a patient human ready to help me continue navigating this human world—could you be my human(s)? Story
Female - 18 months - 35 lbs - Microchipped - Spayed - NYHi there, my name is Lonnie! I am an 18-month-old, 35 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and am trustworthy being left home alone uncrated. I like to relax and watch out the windows. I am looking for a patient home as I am terrified of people and will do my best to avoid them. I have occasionally sought out attention from my foster mom after a few months together—it seems I did not have much exposure to humans prior to my arrival to Echo Dogs. A patient family who will work with me on my mistrust of humans with me and where there are not a lot of visitors would be ideal! I love other dogs and will need a confident canine companion in my home. I am respectful and love to play with my foster siblings. I will require a securely, physically fenced yard as I love to spend as much time outside as I can at my foster home! I have learned about chew toys and think they are great! I do have a strong prey drive so I cannot go to a home with cats. When I came to Echo Dogs, both of my front legs were broken due to a vehicle collision. I had several surgeries to repair the damage and can now move around comfortably and easily! As a result I am not a fan of cars—riding in them or just seeing them when out and about. Otherwise, I walk well on leash for my foster mom! Now that I am physically healed up, I am ready to start the search for a special family to call my own where I can continue to learn about the human world. Could that be with you? Story
Male - 2 years - 46 lbs - Microchipped - Neutered - LAHello! My name is Davis and I am a 2-year-old, 46 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained, though I am a gentleman who does not need to be crated. I am comfortable with men, women, and children. I enjoy some pets and affection from my family, though I am also a fairly independent guy who is happy to lay off somewhere by myself when you’re busy. I am relaxed with visitors to our home. I am neutral towards other dogs and could do well by myself or with a canine sibling. I do enjoy having toys available, particularly stuffies and chews. I am also neutral about cats and small animals, so I could live with cats. My foster mom says my personality is a bit cat-like so maybe I’d fit right in! I like tagging along for car rides and running errands with my people. I will walk well on leash for a short distance, but I don’t enjoy long walks and will end the walk by firmly sitting down to let you know how I feel.  I know how to sit on cue and love to observe the world going by. If you are looking for a chill companion in your life, maybe I could be your guy! Are you my family?
