He would love to live on a property where he can protect the yard, guard the house and enjoy a beautiful landscape. Remy truly enjoys being out under the trees and sunbathing on a warm porch. Remy has some tendencies to be protective over his loved ones. He can be a great listener and will do great under the guidance of an experienced dog owner, especially someone with shepherd knowledge. Remy is a pretty healthy boy and comes originally from a breeder so he has a long history of his health being monitored. Alright you caught me fair and square, I am the guy from Florida that used to be....a silly adventurous Shepherd boy! I am still that same guy. I found myself migrating north to a cooler climate in search of broader horizons. I am a boy of travel, wonder, excitement. I am also a boy that can relax, spend time with a lovely person, enjoys going for walks, enjoys playing with a ball or 2. I have spent the last year living in a kennel. The most generous and kind people have allowed me to stay here in the safety of this place while I find a home to call my own. Here I have learned how to behave, walk nicely on a leash and how to stay patient. I get out a bunch but I long for home. I enjoy being around people. I am a strong dog and probably would push over some smaller humans but I enjoy everyones company. I prefer a home where I am the only pet. I havent had too many interactions with other animals but I feel very happy being independent. My manners are pretty good and I can stay focused on my human, even when other dogs try to distract me. I would love more than anything else in this world, to just be your very best friend. I promise I will crate at night, Ill potty only outside and Ill be a loyal true bud. MK here!As you can see, I am a handsome guy who is so excited at the thought of meeting you, I mean look at my smile.I am a young pup, around 1 1/2-years-old and am sweet, playful and enthusiastic about pretty much everything. A canine friend to play with that would be amazing, humans to pay attention to me, wonderful, a fenced in yard, awesome. I do sometimes forget I can`t try to play with a human the same way I might another dog so smaller humans, under 10, probably not the best fit for me. Unless I am sleeping, I definitely want to be part of the action and will follow you around the house.The nice people who have been spending some time with me say I am a smart boy. A little correction & some guidance and I catch on quickly. I do also love food, I mean doesn`t everybody, so if treats are involved in the learning process, I am all in. Walks on the leash are fun little adventures. Sometimes I don`t know my own strength but if I use a harness, I am pretty good.......though squirrels are so hard to ignore. In the house I am a good boy, if I do say myself. I will settle in that thing you call a crate, if needed. I remember most of the rules and know I am supposed to ask to go outside when nature calls.... though we do think I am a Husky mix, so I have a stubborn streak and sometimes I decide to `lift my leg` inside.If you are looking for a fun, 4-footed friend with a zest for life. Male - 1 year - 65 lbs - Microchipped - Neutered - OHHi there! My name is Jace and I am a 1-year-old, 65 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am currently crated when I am left home alone. I am a sweet boy with my foster parents, though it took me a while to warm up to them. I’ve spent most of my life in a kennel environment so living in a home with people was a new experience for me and I am very shy with new people. I have started seeking affection and enjoying pets from my foster parents and discovering how great it can be! I’ll need a patient, calm adopter to help me grow more comfortable around people. I love other animals and will require a confident canine sibling in my home to help show me the ropes! I have also been around cats without issue so could have kitty siblings also. I love toys and bones! Any kind of stuffy toy that I can gently carry around is great, and I will also play tug with other dogs with a rope! I ride well in the car and only pull slightly on lead. I take food gently and would love a family who will continue my socialization so that I can grow into my most confident self! I have been learning to come to my foster parents when they call my name and know what it means to be “time for bed”! My crate-training is a work in progress as I currently don’t like to stay in one while you’re away. I’ve been working with my foster mom to build up my tolerance for being left home alone uncrated and am doing well! I love being pet and receiving affection from people I know! I can be a little nervous when first meeting new people, give me a little bit of space to approach you first and then we’ll be friends! I have done well with men, women, and older children. I love goofy play with my foster mom! I do well with other dogs on outings or in the yard at my foster home, but I prefer to be the only dog inside my home as I don’t reliably share my living space well with others. I have done well with the cats at my foster home and wouldn’t mind having some cat siblings! I enjoy playing with stuffed toys or chewing on hooves. I like spending time in the yard but I can easily clear a fence which is something to be aware of if my new home has a fenced yard! I have been working on building my confidence in the world around me while at my foster home and would love a home where I could join for hikes or other outdoor adventures! I walk very well on lead and ride well in the car after a little boost in! I have already learned some basic training cues such as sit, down, come, and leave it.
