Alright you caught me fair and square, I am the guy from Florida that used to be....a silly adventurous Shepherd boy! I am still that same guy. I found myself migrating north to a cooler climate in search of broader horizons. I am a boy of travel, wonder, excitement. I am also a boy that can relax, spend time with a lovely person, enjoys going for walks, enjoys playing with a ball or 2. I have spent the last year living in a kennel. The most generous and kind people have allowed me to stay here in the safety of this place while I find a home to call my own. Here I have learned how to behave, walk nicely on a leash and how to stay patient. I get out a bunch but I long for home. I enjoy being around people. I am a strong dog and probably would push over some smaller humans but I enjoy everyones company. I prefer a home where I am the only pet. I havent had too many interactions with other animals but I feel very happy being independent. My manners are pretty good and I can stay focused on my human, even when other dogs try to distract me. I would love more than anything else in this world, to just be your very best friend. I promise I will crate at night, Ill potty only outside and Ill be a loyal true bud. This is Steve-O. He came in with his brother, his brother has been adopted. He can be shy at first, but warms up after a bit. He is about 2 years old, and 53 lbs. He walks well on leash, and well behaved. He`s very much a dog that wants his person. He will most likely need some help with potty training. He is a good boy, he just needs someone to give him a chance! If you are interested in adopting him, it may be best to come meet him a few times!He`s been with us since 6/9/26

Story

Breezer is a large dog with a lot of heart. He is very affectionate and excitable. We wouldn't be looking to adopt him out but we recently had two babies and he is not mixing well with them. He is not aggressive or violent towards kids but he is clumsy and prone to hurting very small kids/babies. He has a limp that he has had since we got him. The vet has checked him and told us it does t cause him any pain and it is probably just a nerve issue. He is territorial but with the right care and patience he is able to be brought out around other dogs in public. Breezee would be a great pet for a home with large kids and enough space to run around. He has not received shots in about 2 years.

Lena is a very sweet, affectionate, special needs dog with a youthful spirit. She absolutely loves people and kids, and still enjoys playing like a puppy. She’s happiest staying close to her people and will loyally stick by your side. She loves to cuddle and stay indoors. She was rescued 9 years ago as a runt of the litter by her owner, who passed away a few months ago. Lena is house-trained and used to living with 6 cats and a chihuahua whom she loved a lot.Lena does have a minor spinal malformation and a slightly shortened lower jaw, but these issues do not affect her ability to walk, eat, or drink. She might struggle a little with steep stairs or getting into taller cars. A ramp is recommended but not needed.Important:Lena does not get along with large dogs. If your home does not work out, PLEASE do not put her in the shelter. Keep our contact information so we can take her back to our home for her safety.
