Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Delilah is around 3-4 months old.  She weighs 15 lbs and might be around 45-50 lbs when fully grown. She is a cute little fur ball who looks to be a shepherd mix.     She has been in a foster home with her siblings and loves to play. She loves our dog Issac and would really enjoy the company of another submissive dog but would do fine as an only dog with humans who would play with her and exercise her.  She loves all people and dogs and is great meeting dogs in our neighborhood. Her previous foster home had a cat, and she did well with it.  She absolutely adores my 5-year-old grandson and plays with him without all the puppy biting.  She is a very outgoing friendly puppy who is looking for her forever home.       Delilah would prefer a fenced in yard. She is outside a lot. She LOVES to be outside with a lot of play time. She is definitely afraid of loud noises. Especially motorcycles, loud trucks and fireworks. When she’s outside in the yard and hears a loud noise, she comes running inside.       Delilah is working on housetraining and doing very well, she is smart and catches on very quicky. She goes to the door when she has to go out. She hasn’t had any accidents recently. But we still take her out every hour until she is fully housebroken. She sleeps all night in her crate with no accidents. She is very food motivated so training her is not hard.   Delilah is still a puppy so she needs to be watched constantly.  Since she is puppy, she should not be crated for 8+ hours a day while her family works away from home.  Once she’s fully trained and can be trusted, then that would be ok as long as owner gives her a potty break during the day, if they work full time.    Delilah is very smart, mostly quiet dog. She catches on very quickly to commands. She is very loving. She is a delight to have around our family. She is sassy in a good way with so much personality. She is crate trained and is great in the crate.  Please consider giving this sweet girl a wonderful home filled with love.  She will give that love right back to you!            If you are looking for a new puppy to brighten your day?   Delilah might be just the girl for you. Please submit a Best Friend Pet Adoption application at this link.      https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC .                         Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized  after they are altered at 5-6 months old.    Adopters must be willing to bring the puppy to the Raleigh area for all medical care needed.  F oster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC.   INTERESTED IN ADOPTING DELILAH? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Looking for a puppy!  Look no further since Patrick could be THE one!    Patrick is a fun loving handsome puppy who is looking for his forever home after being cared for by Best Friend Pet Adoption since he as only two days old.  Look at him now and read his story below.   He loves to play with his sibling and is working hard on his housebreaking skills.  He sleeps in an open crate within a puppy pen where he feels safe and comfortable.     Patrick would love to live with any canine buddy to play in a fenced yard.  But he would also be fine with an active family.  Like all puppies, he needs to have exercise and action in his life.     Patrick is ready to start an adoption trial.  Are you ready for this bundle of joy?    EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Eleven puppies were turned into a local shelter when they were two days old.  They were found with no mother in sight and umbilical cords still attached. Best Friend Pet Adoption and another shelter rescued all the puppies. We took three puppies and bottle fed them.  They are now healthy,  growing quickly   and looking for their forever homes.    Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Patrick requires an approved Best Friend Pet Adoption application before you can be considered for adoption.   Applicants must live no further than one hour from Raleigh/Cary NC. You must be willing to bring Patrick to a BFPA veterinarian in the Raleigh/ Cary area for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Adoptions are not finalized until Patrick is neutered at 5-6 months of age.  Best Friend Pet Adoption pays for all medical care until he is finalized.  INTERESTED IN ADOPTING PATRICK ? Story
Mango's journey began in 2017, when she entered our lives when she was two-week-old. From that moment on, she became an integral part of our family, even as we moved homes multiple times. Her intelligence never failed to impress us. Despite her adult age, Mango retained a playful spirit, often acting like a puppy. Yet, along with Mango's endearing qualities came challenges, particularly her tendency to bark loudly. We tried various methods to address this behavior, but unfortunately, none yielded the desired results. Living in a TH with our young child and elderly parents presented challenges. Mango's barking, especially during thunderstorms and rainy nights, disrupted our household's peace, leading to sleepless nights and added stress. It's hard, but we've decided that Mango deserves a home where her needs can be better met. Mango isn't just a pet; she's family. We're seeking a loving home where her quirks are understood, so she can thrive and spread joy.
