Myra just said good-bye to her last litter of puppies. She won't have to worry about having puppies any more. Now she can enjoy just being a dog. Her ears are listening for signs that someone is interested in her. Myra is a 6 year old German Shepherd Dog who is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, lymes positive (this will need to be monitored for flare ups), flea treated, wormed, spayed, and microchipped. Myra is getting a little older and has some aches and pains, so we have her on several supplements that she would need to remain on after adoption. She is also on medication twice a day for pain/anxiety. She tends to be a bit nervous when around strange people or in a new situation. Once she's comfortable though, she's very friendly. She prefers to keep to herself or be with her person. She tolerates calm dogs in passing but would do best as an only dog. She does not appear to like cats. NO children because of her nervousness and activity level. Myra loves toys and loves to play alone or with her person. She does resource guard toys and high value items with people and animals. She is protective of her home and person and needs an adopter with previous breed experience. **Applications will not be screened if they do not meet the listed requirements.**

Who’s that lady? (Who’s that lady?) That’s Gypsy, lady!    Meet Gypsy, who also had the name Lady too ironically. But she knows Gypsy a lot better. Gypsy is a 3 year old, 65 lb German shepherd mix. Gypsy is ready for a new home and ready to bring the party!    Gypsy is very affectionate and has great energy to play, hike, and be with her future humans. Gypsy knows many things including: sit, down, come, and working on more like a place command, settling inside of the house, and some loose leash walking but in true shepherd form, she is eager to please! She enjoys her crate and is house trained. She even waits at doors like a lady! Flirt pole is her second love to food and so that is on her wishlist for her new family too.    She has lived with some pre-teen children and would do well with them. But she is excited to meet others so small children might not be ideal in her home. No cats for this girl!    Gypsy was returned sadly due to some sibling rivalry. While she has been amicable playing with her foster’s dogs due to a structured set up, preference will go to having her own family and home to herself. She does not like other dogs being around her food.
