Meet Beck! Beck aka Becky is around 1 year old and 65lb of fun, affectionate, goofy energy wrapped up in one beautiful pup. She has settled wonderfully into foster care and has quickly become the type of dog who just wants to be part of the family in every way possible. Beck has a great mix of active and laid back. She enjoys her walks (especially nighttime walks!) but is equally happy being a couch potato curled up in her dog bed with her favorite blanket nearby. She loves attention, cuddles, and hanging out with her people. She’s house trained, rides well in the car, does great in public, and walks nicely on leash overall. While she can occasionally be reactive on leash or a little unsure with new dogs at first, she warms up well and has done great living with other dogs after slow introductions. One of the most impressive things about Beck is how well she’s adjusted to a busy home environment. Her foster home has two young children, other dogs, and all the normal chaos that comes with family life, and Beck has fit right in. She handles high-energy situations like kids running around, screaming, and even vacuum cleaners like a champ. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will happily join you for walks and then cuddle up on the couch after, Beck might be your perfect match 🤍

Story

Polaris is a young girl who was found dumped on the side of the road with a bag of dog food dumped on the ground as her only help for survival. A good samaritan picked her up and contacted me. Help Polaris never face that kind of treatment again by giving her a forever home. She is very sweet and friendly and great with other dogs and people and kids. She definitely has a prey drive though, which is not at all unusual for dogs, so no kitties or small animals. She walks well on the leash and does well in a crate. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Meet Boone! Boone is a 6-year-old Shepherd mix weighing about 50 pounds with a sweet personality and a love for the outdoors. Boone came to us after being found as a stray, and he quickly showed us what a wonderful dog he is. He is friendly, affectionate, and incredibly food motivated, which makes earning his trust pretty easy! He loves spending time outside, enjoys walks to the play yard, and every now and then will break out into the cutest zoomies. Once Boone decides you’re his person, he is all about belly rubs and soaking up attention from his favorite people. Boone appears to do well with other dogs. We are still unsure how he does with cats. Because of his size and energy, he would likely do best in a home with older children who are comfortable around dogs.
