Story
Say hello to DINO! This bundle of joy came into the rescue and stole everyone’s heart immediately. His kind endearing eyes will make your heart melt. Dino was a puppy that was found by a wonderful person at the person’s place of employment. He fed Dino daily and allowed him to sleep in his car on his lunch breaks. Dino remained loyal and stayed around the place of work until they reached out for help from the rescue. To this day he loves cars and feels very safe from the outside cruel world inside of one. Dino has now been placed in a loving foster home and is learning to play wonderful with the foster’s big dogs and puppies that are fostering with him half his size. Dino is doing great in a crate and potty training. This guy catches on really quick. He is so appreciative of having a safe environment to thrive. He will lay on you or keep his head in your lap forever if you will allow. Personality: Dino is goofy, energetic, and playful! He does well with correction. Dino would be great in a home with another dog to keep showing the ropes of puppy life. He is soooooo ready to be your new best friend and would love a home where he can grow to be a wonderful life long family companion. Once adopted Dino will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. They travel each weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the northeast, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this cutie part of your family, please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
·Intake Reason: Transferred from Texas-Weight: 43 pounds Known with: ·Cats: Unknown ·Dogs: Unknown ·Kids: UnknownPuppies are magnificent! I am cute, rambunctious, lively and fun. I have so much to learn, discover and explore - just a tiny sponge who is ready to absorb everything you have to teach me and show me. I am counting on you to help me safely navigate the world and experience new things each day to allow me to grow into a confident young dog. That isn’t as exotic and daunting a task as it might sound. Each day I just need to be introduced to one new thing like the sound of a vacuum, a blender or a door bell, walking up and down a step, a ride in a car, hearing a motorcycle or a truck, going somewhere to see new people, even maneuvering a fallen log on a walk. You get the idea, so many things that seem common to you are completely new to me. Speaking of growing, I may be tiny now but I do plan on getting bigger so I would love to take obedience classes to learn proper manners and social skills. I also know I have to practice something called house-training so I know proper potty behavior. A routine and lots of yummy treats and praise will go a long way to helping me master house-training when I potty outside. Puppies and dogs need love, exercise, mental stimulation and consistency to be healthy, happy and confident. I am typically very open to all sorts of housemates; I can be a bit mischievous and may find any other critter as a potential playmate so they will need to understand that about me. I often explore the world with my mouth and while I am teething I like to chew; my little puppy teeth are very sharp so if I am around children we should always be supervised. It is important that children learn about respecting me, too, and treat me gently because I am fragile. Raising a puppy is a big responsibility, a lot of work, and it may interrupt your sleep cycle for a bit, but a courteous and well-behaved dog is certainly worth the investment and I promise to be loyal, love you unconditionally and be a companion forever. I just know I will bring joy and laughter into your home and cannot wait to meet you. Let the adventures begin!#2

Story
Arriving in WI on June 25th! Ellie is an adorable 4 month old female German Shepherd Mix puppy. She is a beautiful girl with a black and golden coat . She weighs about 35 pounds, and we expect her to be large size when fully grown. Ellie was found abandoned in rural Texas by one of our volunteers. She has been lovingly raised in their home while she got ready to make the trip to WI. Ellie's foster describes her as a sweet and friendly pup who has never met a stranger. Like all dogs, she will need some training as she learns the routine in her new forever home. In her foster home she is potty trained, walks well on a leash and doesn't jump up on her humans, even though she is a cuddle bug who likes to be in your lap. She gets along well with other dogs and she loves people of all ages. She also loves to play with toys! She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Wednesday June 25th, and will be available to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Wednesday June 25th. If upon meeting, she is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent him from finding her forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog. If she does not receive an adoption hold prior to her arrival in WI, she will be available to meet at our adoption events or by appointment with her foster family. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Thank you for supporting our efforts to bring Texas dogs north to loving homes! You can read more about us at https://facebook.com/TxRescueRiders (Texas Rescue Riders). Also feel free to join our Group Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity (Texas Rescue Riders Community) where members can post directly.
