Story
Adira was found running at large in Memphis and was subsequently brought to a veterinary clinic by a kind MPD Officer. She was severely emaciated and scared. “Addie” as she has come to be known, quickly made herself at home at her Foster’s farm while she gained weight and recuperated. She is now around 65 pounds and estimated to be 2-3 years old. Addie loves to play ball, go on long walks through the woods, run, ride in cars, and snuggle. She is wonderful for baths, tolerates nail trims, and more than anything, just wants to be anywhere her human is. Although she is high energy when the opportunity presents itself, Addie would make a suitable apartment dog for someone who works from home. Her foster family works from home and she spends the entire workday snuggled on her bed beside her foster mom while she works. Addie is kennel trained, but she is a large dog and would not be suited for kenneling all day while family or individual works. Addie will do best with an active lifestyle and plenty of time for play. She does need to be the only dog as she is an alpha female and does not share her humans or her territory. Addie is deeply loyal and very protective. She is friendly to new people if her person is friendly to them. Once adopted she will travel via private transport Rescue Vet (transport cost is $160.00) to a location closest to you. Story
· Intake Reason: landlord didn't allowKnown with:· Cats: briefly exposed, easily corrected by cats· Dogs: does well in WCHS playgroup· Kids: exposed to 2,4,10 & 12 yr oldsHello there, my name is Cassidy and I am a sweet little girl from Alabama. I had some time on my paws so I thought I would check into the origins of my name and I found out some fun-facts. It can mean ‘ingenious' so I guess I am quite clever. I think I could learn many things with patient and positive training techniques because I am smart. After all, I was smart enough to come to WCHS to meet all the nice folks in Wisconsin, wasn't I? I am a bit on the shy side when I first meet someone or am in a new situation, but in short order I relax and my true beautiful self comes shining through. I am a friendly and affectionate gal so I hope you enjoy snuggles and cuddling as much as I do. I am also an energetic girl who enjoys staying active; I like to take walks and think I would make a fabulous hiking partner. It would be grand to explore the world with you. I weigh about 42 pounds and think that is the perfect size for almost any family; not too big and not too small. I think it would be lovely to take some classes with you so I can learn fun activities like agility, nose work or dog parkour. Since I would love to accompany you on lots of adventures, I would like to learn some obedience cues so I am welcome wherever we go. Learning new skills is a great way to build confidence and getting out in the world to see new places and meet new people will be wonderful opportunities for me to practice experiencing novel things. Come by to meet me in person and spend some time soaking in my charm; I think we will make a phenomenal team.#2

Story
Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. We only accept applications from Wisconsin. Coa is currently living with a foster near Milton, Wisconsin. Coa is a local owner surrender who found herself needing a new home due to her owner moving. Coa, Leo, and two of their puppies were all being rehomed and thankfully they were able to come to our rescue. Coa is a two year old female. She loves to play with other dogs, and while social with all dogs, she prefers dogs her own size. Just like Leo, she is also crate trained, active, smart, food motivated, and walks well on a leash. Coa is your typical GSD: beautiful, protective, energetic & loyal! She could be adopted with Leo. She would like a home without cats, other small animals, or children. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Story
Bailey is a gorgeous 2 month old mixed breed female pup who weighs about 15 pounds. She has a super soft tan and black coat and the sweetest face! Bailey is loving and sweet. All she wants is attention from her foster family! She loves to play with other dogs, people and toys. She was raised with his littermates and human children, and gets along great with other dogs and humans of all sizes. Her mom is pictured in the last photo, she weighs about 50 pounds. She has been working hard on her potty and crate training, but her new family should be prepared to do additional training in these areas, as her routine in your home will be very different than what she is used to in a foster home in Texas. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. Bailey's adoption fee will contribute to our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the Midwest. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday April 5th, and will be available for to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should you find that she is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable.
