I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can say YES to fostering this animal! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hello my name is Izzy Rose, I'm from Minnesota! From her foster: She's timid at first but really opens up once comfortable. She has a big personality, big voice, and is full of energy. She benefits a lot from regular exercise. She likes other dogs and wants to make friends, but she could polish her canine social skills. She's very food-motivated and loves toys and chew bones. Once she settles down, she adores cuddles from her people and enjoys curling up next to them for a nap. She's great in her crate overnight and also for a couple hours each day.

Story
Hello! My name is Dillyn Mae and I’m a very pretty girl who just arrived from Alabama!! I was very happy to join 2 of my siblings already at my foster home. I’ve been around a lot of dogs my first year of life so I think I would do best if I can have another dog to love. My human mom thinks I’ve never been in a house before but she says I’m doing great! I’ve learned to go up the stairs and I even sleep in the big bed with my human family! I need more time on the leash, I’m still nervous walking on leash but can you blame me? It’s all new in my world! Please give me a chance….I have so much love to give!!Dillyn Mae was heartworm positive and has completed her treatment. She received a preliminary negative result on a microfilaria test but is awaiting a negative test result to a Heartworm test 9 months after treatment per our vets recommendations. She is no longer needing to be on exercise restrictions. Dillyn Mae will need continued use of monthly heartworm prevention. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hi! I’m Dixie and I am just as cute as can be! I’ve just arrived from Alabama. I was very happy to see my brother in the same foster home! My foster mom thinks that I’ve never been in a home before but I’m adjusting pretty quickly. It only took 2 days to master the stairs. I was so excited cuz now I get to sleep in the big bed with my human mom and dad! I’ve only had one accident the very first night of being in my new home, I was just kinda nervous. My foster mom says I’m getting so much better getting leashed up and walking everyday. My doggy brother is bigger than me and he lets me jump on him all the time. He is so gentle and good to me! He spoils me!I do best with other dogs who are not overly dominant. I require a fenced-in yard to help with my transition into my new forever home. Please give me a chance and I will give you a lifetime of love and loyalty!Dixie is heartworm positive and is awaiting a negative test result. She has completed her treatment but has some vet anxiety so instead of getting an extra poke she is being treated with 6 months of a microfilaricide, Barrier, to ensure treatment is successful. This preventative will be provided by the rescue until her heartworm test. During these months, she does not need to be on exercise restrictions unless symptoms arise. Other than the topical preventatives, all other medical needs will be the responsibility of the adoptive family. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hello! I am Didi and I am a fun loving sweet sweet girl! I just came up from Alabama and I’m trying to figure out what this dreadfully cold weather is all about. I’m not a total fan of it but my humans still make me go outside to do my business. I did have one accident the very first night but who can blame me?!My human family thinks that I’ve never been in a home before. I’m very curious and like to check everything out. I’ve only gone up the big stairs halfway but I know I’ll be fine soon enough. My family loves going on walks but they said we are going to wait just a few more days for it to warm up. So I’m not sure how I will be but I bet pretty good!I love playing with the other foster doggy in my new home. We are very playful together! My mom puts me in a kennel when she leaves for work just to make sure I get this potty training business down pat!My mom can tell I’m a really good happy dog! Please give me a chance. I will give you a lifetime of love!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    DOB: 02/01/2020 Requires another dog in home: Yes, another well-balanced dog is required Okay with dogs of all sizes: Yes Okay with cats: Unknown Okay with children under 12 years old: No Weight: 10 pounds Requires a fenced yard:  Yes, required Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Rua requires another dog in her home. Rua is a super sweet dog who absolutely loves her people. She wants desperately to be a confident dog, and she is a confident dog with her people. She is shy with anyone new and does best with a quiet household, preferably a single female or couple that she can give her trust and her heart to. She is fine with children, but young ones tend to scare her with fast movements. Rua is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. She's also capable of jumping over gates with a beautiful graceful leap. She should have another confident dog in her home to learn from and she loves to play with other dogs as well as toys. She needs a fenced yard, minimum of 4ft as well because she can get spoked easily. She is such a sweet girl who spent her short life having puppies and now she's ready to have a home and love of her own. If you'd like to met Rua to see how special she is, please fill out an application for her. If you're looking for a best friend and loyal companion, she's definitely your girl. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Hi! I’m Gilly, a 60-pound Goldendoodle with a gentle heart, a goofy personality, and a serious love for snuggles. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who will happily follow you from room to room, I might just be your girl. My absolute favorite place to be is right next to my people. During the day, I love laying by your feet while you work, and in the evening you’ll probably find me curled up on the couch soaking up all the cuddles I can get. I’m a very affectionate girl and feel happiest when I’m close to the humans (and animals!) I love. Speaking of animals… I love my cat friend! I like to gently approach him to say hello, and I’m perfectly happy letting him lick me or curl up next to me. Because I enjoy interacting so much, I’d probably do best with a cat who also enjoys doggy friendship. I’m a confident and friendly pup, especially when meeting new people. I get excited to say hello and sometimes get a little mouthy when I’m greeting someone new—I'm just very enthusiastic about making friends! I also enjoy meeting other dogs and love to play, though I’m still learning how to read when another dog might be ready for a break. I enjoy walks and do pretty well on leash, though I can get excited if I see people or other dogs passing by. I’m working on keeping all four paws on the ground and improving every day. Car rides are easy for me—I’m happy to lie down in the back seat and relax for the trip. I’m very close to being fully potty trained. I do best when I’m on a schedule since I’m still learning how to tell my humans when I need to go out. My favorite way to go potty is off leash in a fenced yard, so a home with a fence would make me very happy. When it comes to fun, I love going for walks, lounging outside in the yard, chewing on a good bone, and playing with toys on my own. I also know “sit,” and I’m working on my recall skills like a good girl. One thing to know about me: I really love being around my people. I’m not a super independent dog—I’d much rather be wherever you are. If you’re moving around the house, there’s a good chance I’ll be right behind you making sure I don’t miss anything. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, slightly goofy companion who will keep you company, make you smile, and happily snuggle up at the end of the day, I would love to meet you. Love, Gilly Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption.
