Story
Meet Tulip! 🌸 Your new best friend is just a tail wag away! Just look at her great tail ! Tulip is a small mixed breed pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. With her curly tail, expressive eyes, and bouncy step, she turns heads wherever she goes. Don’t let her size fool you—this little lady is packed with love, joy, and just the right amount of spunk! Tulip is as sweet as they come. She loves cuddles on the couch, playtime in the yard, and belly rubs any time you’re offering. Her playful energy is contagious, but she also knows how to settle down and enjoy the quiet moments. She’s great with other dogs and gets along beautifully with cats, making her a perfect fit for a multi-pet household. Whether she's romping with her furry friends or snuggling up for a nap, Tulip is always happy just being with her people. Quick facts: 🐾 Small shepherd mix 🐾 Curly tail and spunky spirit 🐾 Dog and cat friendly 🐾 Sweet, social, and ready for her forever home Tulip would thrive in a home where she gets love, structure, and space to play. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a spark of sass and a whole lot of love to give, Tulip is your girl. **Tulip was recently diagnosed with renal dysplasia, which means her kidneys didn’t develop normally before birth. This condition can affect how well her kidneys work over time. Right now, Tulip is feeling good—she eats well, plays, and enjoys her daily walks just like any other dog. Her current care includes a special kidney-friendly diet and regular check-ups with her vet to monitor her kidney function. While there’s no cure for renal dysplasia, many dogs like Tulip live happy, comfortable lives for months or even years with good care and lots of love. We’re looking for a family who can provide her with a stable, low-stress home and continue her veterinary care. In return, Tulip will reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and joy every single day.** Due to Tulip's diagnosis we have reduced her adoption fee by 50%. Her adoption fee will be $330 + tax to ensure her future family can set her up for success with the proper food and vet support. If you’re someone with a big heart who believes that every dog deserves a chance at love and comfort, Tulip might just be your perfect match. 💛 All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. To meet this sweet pup, fill out an application today https://www.carverscotths.org/

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Rua is a super sweet dog who absolutely loves her person. She wants desperately to be a confident dog, and she is a confident dog with just her person. She is shy with anyone new and does best with a quiet household, preferably a single female that she can give her trust and her heart to. Rua is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained, though not a big fan of crates. She has separation anxiety and needs a very strong crate or a home that has nothing she can get into that would harm her. She's also capable of jumping over gates. She should have another confident dog in her home to learn from and she loves to play with other dogs as well as toys. She needs a fenced yard, minimum of 4ft as well because she can get spoked easily. She is such a sweet girl who spent her short life having puppies and now she's ready to have a home and love of her own. If you'd like to met Rua to see how special she is, please fill out an application for her. If you're looking for a best friend and loyal companion, she's definitely your girl. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? Please consider sponsoring an Underdog. Your donation will help us buy dog food and pay for medical costs. Story
Age: Approximately 3 years old Weight: 72lbs Dog friendly: Yes, with proper introduction Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: When properly introduced Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Unknown ***FENCED YARD REQUIRED*** Hello! My name is Lewis but I am often called Lou If you are looking for a friend to watch whatever shows you want on tv I am your guy! If you are looking for someone that loves to chill on the couch with then I am your guy! If you are looking for someone to take walks with or even go for a jog with them I am also your guy as I love to go on walks! I love my humans and get attached to them, so it would be best if I was your one and only fur baby! I do like kids but have never been around real little kids so you may have to watch that I don’t knock them over as I would feel bad. I would love to be with someone who isn’t gone all the time as I will miss them so much. I roam free when my humans are gone and do fine with that, although I do have a habit of counter surfing so its best if you do not leave any food on the counter for me to snack on. I am told that I am the sweetest boy and would love to find my forever home so you can see that too. Lou Adoption Fee: $495

Story
Hi! I’m Dixie and I am just as cute as can be! I’ve just arrived from Alabama. I was very happy to see my brother in the same foster home! My foster mom thinks that I’ve never been in a home before but I’m adjusting pretty quickly. It only took 2 days to master the stairs. I was so excited cuz now I get to sleep in the big bed with my human mom and dad! I’ve only had one accident the very first night of being in my new home, I was just kinda nervous. My foster mom says I’m getting so much better getting leashed up and walking everyday. My doggy brother is bigger than me and he lets me jump on him all the time. He is so gentle and good to me! He spoils me!I would do best with another dog in the house to show me the ropes. I would do best with a fenced in yard. Please give me a chance and I will give you a lifetime of love and loyalty!Dixie is Heartworm positive and is waiting for a negative test result which can take 2-9 months after treatment. Her treatment has been completed and she will need a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Dixie will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. --------------------------------------------"I'll be home for Christmas!" For applications received now through 12/31/2025, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups. This is reflected in the adoption fee shown below. All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $250To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
