Meet Nash. He is a two and a half year old, purebred Golden Retriever. He has a lot of energy and an extremely sweet disposition. I recently became a single mom and just don't have the time or energy he requires. He is great with other dogs at the park, wonderful with kids, and lived the first year I had him with a cat, who he also loved. He is smart, potty trained, and extremely loyal but needs a family that can take him on several walks a day and spend real time playing and training him, and unfortunately that is no longer me. He is VERY active, and requires a lot of run around time, but knows to calm down with little ones (he is great with my 4 year old). I would love to find him a family with a backyard or that lives near walking trails, and someone that can be at home with him more often.

Charlie wants you to know even with his black fur and scars from puppy strangles, he is handsome, sweet, loving, smart and has all the same love and personality as the fluffy one over there! Charlie loves meeting new people; not around kiddos much. He is practicing his manners and learning his commands. He is eager to learn, well behaved and friendly boy. That would love his own backyard. Or if you're in an apartment with a doggie area to visit often. Cool. Because he is ready willing and able. Charlie is an adorable 9-month-old lab mix currently at 30lbs and growing. We think he will be petite in size. He came to us with a bad case of puppy strangles but is all healed up. He has a little scaring on his face but his beautiful shiny black fur covers some of that up. He is fully potty trained and uses a doggy door. He knows the command sit and we are working on more. He loves taking walks and exploring the outdoors. He gets along well with foster's 2 older dogs and loves to play both with dogs and humans. He has not been around young children but has a sweet demeanor. Charlie is king of the backyard sunshine! He loves to play but is a very chill, loving puppy. Walter is a 4 month old, 20 lb Golden Retriever mix. We have to say that he is a mix since we don't know for sure, but he looks all Golden to us! Foster mom says that Walter is a 100% puppy with an extra side of cuddly. He is a happy-go-lucky guy who loves to play and just like any typical puppy, he will need lots of chew toys to play with. He gets along great with all the dogs (and cat) in the house. He is everything you expect a puppy to be, so he needs daily walks. He does well on the leash and LOVES to say hi to everyone! He is working hard on potty training, and already knows basic commands like "sit. With continued training, he will be the best boy. At the end of the day, once he is done playing he will snuggle with his people on the couch and on the bed, when he is allowed. He is truly the cutest pup who would make a great playmate for another dog or a family who will give him lots of love and play time!

Through a series of unfortunate events I found myself all alone at an animal shelter in Florida. The wonderful rescue arranged for me to hitch a ride back to Texas so I could get the vet care I needed. Now that I am fully vetted, I am ready to find my forever home.
