Story
Zues was purchased as a puppy, he is such a good boy, daughter lost her husband and work too much to care for him. We do use shock collar on him but have never shocked, he responds with the vibrate. He is a big boy! Prefer someone that is able to handle our sweet baby boy. Zues Loves to play catch and loves his babies. These dogs need time to adjust before being man handled. He does growl when he plays so don't let that scare you. This is why we put that shock collar on to let him know to cut it out. He is also crate trained in which will come with him. Fee is to insure you will Love him like we do and non refundable. Please be sure you want a big boy like him. We will do background checks as well as home.

Story
Adapts well; cuddler and lots of love to give! River came into care very underweight. She was used for breeding and was believed to have 26 puppies for two litters. She will be spayed in December. River has done very well with 2 large male dogs in the foster home. She loves pets! She does not know what a toy is yet. With new people, it just takes a few minutes to warm up to them. Does fine with walks, commands, and car rides! She is eager to please you! As anticipated; she is very food motivated and will tell you when it is time to eat! River is doing very well in foster care and is a happy girl and a "velcro" dog with her people. Mild seperation anxiety.

Story
Huckleberry is currently on medical hold. He came into care with cherry eye and has had eye surgery. Huckleberry is a big puppy and has come out of his shell. Follows his foster mom everywhere, so adopter will need to understand that Huckleberry will require a LOT of attention and love. Recommend being with a larger dog since he loves to play. People need to introduce themselves slowly to him. He is in a home with birds and another small dog.

Story
OTIS-“A GENIUNE CUDDLER” LOVES CAR RIDES Otis is a 22-month-old; 131-pound black Dane in excellent health. He so far has provided the foster home with lots of cuddles and “asks for more” when you stop petting! He likes the neighbor dog; and is not overprotective over food. Although Otis knows a lot of basic commands, he’s still wanting to play, play, play so may need some help with “off”. The ideal adopter would be one that doesn’t mind Otis checking on your whereabouts to make sure you are okay and can work with Otis on puppy-swats that could be a little rough! This is a great boy and needs the love and attention of an owner who will spend cuddly time with him. He wants to prove to you that he is a good boy and listens well! Otis seems to prefer women. He is nervous around men on first meetings; and can be nervous around young children. Otis does not appear to trust men. Once he realizes that the man is not a threat; he is happy and comfortable. The foster home has noticed some separation anxiety so there will need to be a plan from the adoptive owner of how to handle this.

Story
"Busy Guy with energy and a VERY smart brain" Ruger is a beautiful blue Merle. He is in great health. He wants to be with other dogs! He loves pets more than toys! Needs dedication to proper leash walking; and manners! Knows a lot of commands already and is a very smart dog! Adoptive person needs to be able to keep up working with him on manners and provide consistent routine. He is confident and carefree! He would love to be with other dogs, as he is having fun with the other dogs in the foster home. He does not want to miss out on anything! Must be seperated from all other animals at feeding time. Needs fenced in yard. "Assertive" is a good description for this guy! He is very expressive about his fear of missing out about what is going on in his foster home! The foster parents have nicknamed him "Ruger Roo" and describes him as a sweet snuggler that tries to fit into a little space next to you.

Great Dane

Female, 7 yrs
Plymouth, MI
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with cats,
Story
"Coming out of her shell-gentle and quiet" Needs confidence and needs to be praised! Tina was used as a breeder dog; so an adopter will need to understand she needs to be allowed now to be a house pet. She is very petite. Tina is a beautiful girl and is working on routines, leaning how to relax, and play. Tina needs to time and patience and can spook easily. Overall, she is very sweet and gets along with the house cat! Tina needs confidence to be able to live as a pet! She is learning routines in her foster home. Noises startle Tina and she is timid with men at this time. Tina has bonded well; but also the foster home is noticing separation anxiety. Adopter will need to work on this.
