Story
Choose your flavor “SMOOTHIE” is a sweet boy! He loves everyone he meets. Men ,women , kids and other dogs. He is an affectionate people pleaser following you around the house as you do chores and loves to watch tennis on tv. He is gentle , calm and walks like a marshmallow on a leash , no pulling at all , just walks along side of you. He knows how to sit and takes treats out of your hand so gently. He has pearly white teeth and NO bad breath at all. He is potty trained and crate trained. He does not bark. Loves to ride in the car and is a calm passenger! He got his first bath and groom at dirty dogs this week and they said he was a perfect customer. He is still a younger puppy at age 1 and 1/2 or so which means you do have to keep an eye on him and correct him if he trys to steal your dish towel or take the coasters off the coffee table ! He would really be perfect if he would actually do the dishes for me!!! He is the best companion and is a total love bug! Apply to adopt this sweet boy who has had the hardest life at DMDR.org.

Story
Meet Crema! She is about 1.5 years old and we believe she is a Shepherd and Great Pyrenees mix although she is smaller than your typical Pyrenees. She is energetic, active, and eager of human attention. She likes to play with other dogs but doesn't always know her size. She is learning to walk on leash and her manners. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Crema then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Story
Meet Kobe — A gentle giant looking for his forever retirement home Kobe is an 8-year-old, neutered Great Pyrenees (95 lbs) looking for a loving home to enjoy his golden years. As a former Dog Ambassador for the San Diego Humane Society, Kobe is a gentle giant who loves people, attention, and companionship. He has lived with children his entire life and is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and small animals.  Calm, friendly, and easygoing, he enjoys meeting new people, being groomed, and spending time with his family. His favorite things are grilled steak, snuggles, and hanging out with his people. Kobe has completed formal obedience training and knows several commands. He has no separation anxiety and adapts well to new environments. As a Great Pyrenees, Kobe would do best with a family who appreciates the breed’s loyal, observant, and naturally protective nature. He especially enjoys having outdoor space where he can oscillate between relaxing and being his best guard dog self.  Kobe was diagnosed with epilepsy after a cluster seizure episode in 2023, but his condition has been well controlled with medication since then. This sweet boy is being rehomed only because his family will be relocating overseas, and believes the stress of international travel would not be in his best interest given his age and medical condition. There is no urgency to place him; his family is committed to finding the right fit and ensuring a thoughtful transition. Kobe is a truly special dog with so much love left to give, and we hope to find him a family who will cherish him as much as his current family does. **Thrive Animal Rescue is providing a courtesy post for Kobe's family - all applications will be sent to Kobe's parents directly, where the family will be responsible for reaching out to interested individuals to discuss details** ##2767770##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Forever home wanted, meet Rosie. Rosie was spotted dumped and very pregnant in an area of Perris, known for dog dumping. Someone that alerted a group of good Samaritans known to set up feeding stations for abandoned dogs in the area so they could attempt to find her. Rosie sought shelter on a neighboring property that had an outbuilding she could get under. Rosie would give birth to 10 beautiful puppies. Amazingly and a testament to Rosie’s love and care, all 10 babies survived.  Initially, the property owner was okay with the family staying there up until the puppies were about 5 weeks old. Suddenly she demanded they be moved immediately. She threatened to call animal control to pick them up, so we needed to move quickly.  We were very fortunate that a foster stepped up and we were able to move Rosie and all 10 puppies to a home. To see them reunited was so beautiful, Rosie finally felt safe and comfortable. Rosie showed a lot of wear and tear. Rosie had a lot of hair loss, fly strikes and sores from the outdoor elements she endured. With proper nutrition, some antibiotics, and medicated baths twice a week, Rosie looks like a different dog. Her hair grew back beautifully and full. We know from how well she adapted to being in a home, Rosie was a once loved member of a family.  One wonders how she ended up where she did. She is completely potty trained and so loving. When she arrived at her foster home, she'd pancake, too afraid to even stand let alone walk. That is all a thing of the past and it warms our hearts to see how far she's come. Rosie LOVES her walks and meeting new people. She'll jump in the car now which is also huge. Rosie and her babies' story are what rescue is all about. Rosie came to us on March 24 and has made tremendous progress with trust and confidence building. So far, she has proven to be an amazing dog that will make a wonderful addition to any family. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application at labradorsandfriends.org. Rosie is located in Southern California.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 26, 2026, 11:12 pm
