Meet Igor! He is currently in a temporary foster home in Texas but can be transported throughout the US or Canada. He was found skin and bones wandering around in the streets of Mexico. Once nursed to health, Igor traveled up to Texas to his foster home! Igor is an amazing guardian dog who would love to have the job of protecting a farm/land, but also enjoys cuddles and having a family. He is the full package for a family searching for a great pyrenees to keep their property protected with a loyal pup! Igor is nuetered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

ATTENTION:  All of our dogs are in private foster homes.  We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs.  If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application.    We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Auggie! Auggie is a 5 year old Great Pyrenees mix who weighs about 65 lbs.  He'd love to have a family and a yard where he can run and play, his favorite thing to do. He is not really interested in going anywhere, home is where this big boy's heart is. Auggie is a loving and playful dog who enjoys all kind of toys. He's had one-on-one training and classes, knows obedience cues, and follows them very well. He is also walking properly on leash, is potty trained, and knows 'sit', down' and 'shake'. Auggie will need an experienced owner and an adult-only family. He’s not used to being around cats and will chase them, so no cats for this boy. He's neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300.00. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Great Pyrenees -Bubba 2.5-3yrs of age ( rescue-unsure of  actual age) Weight 107Prefers females, needs to be familiar with breed. The breed, good with cats&small dogs that are his. Seems good with other dogs. He is very loyal to his people and his property. That’s why I want someone that is familiar with a guard dog and their behaviors and no small children. He is good off property, but is a guardian on his property. Neutered, UTD on vaccines. Licensed & microchipped. Sleeps inside. Crate trained. Good in house. Behaved well at board/groomer/vet.
