Story
Apollo is 1 almost 2 years old. His birthday is October 10th. He is super sweet and has a big personality. The king of side eyes if you get up and move to a new spot. He loves to cuddle next to you on the couch or by your feet. He is very calm for only being a year old. When he gets his zoomies make sure to not have liquids by technology. He doesn't realize how big he is and can knock some things over if not left high enough. He has three favorite toys and enjoys wearing shirts from time to time. Apollo is kennel-trained, but can be hard to handle on a leash. He loves making new friends, whether its people or other animals. He always likes to say hello.

Story
Khaleesi is a beautiful part of our lives. I got her when she was only 3 months. Not knowing her breed I got her DNA test and found out her breed as 100% Great Pyrenees. She loves attention, cuddles and going for short walks. She has not ever been sick, I had kept her on trifexis (Anti-parasites, heartworm and fleas medication) for years. She is strictly an indoor dog. Looking for a family that can give her lots of love and attention. She truly is a gem. I travel a lot for work for long periods of time, recently got divorced, and I have multiple therapy sessions per week for my daughter. It is heartbreaking to realize that I can not longer take care of Khaleesi.

Story
We adopted Marshie from our neighbors, and she is three years old now, born January 12, 2021. She has been spayed, her shots are up to date, and she is house-trained, but not crate trained. She is very affectionate, she'll sleep/cuddle with you and give you a million kisses when she gets excited to see you. She needs an experienced owner who will understand the characteristics of her breed: she barks mainly during the night, to protect against potential predators. She can be protective, as she resource guards her toys, but she does not guard her food and is okay with being around others while eating. Our main concern is that she, sadly, bit someone in the past. Our house was under construction which was stressful for Marshie who wasn't used to the commotion & strangers being in her home. Following her instincts, she bit one of the workers, which didn't need stitches. She is only protective in her territory. Marshie needs a loving, understanding, & structured home where she can thrive.

Meet Igor! He was found skin and bones wandering around in the streets. He was taken in by an individual rescuer. He is currently in a temporary foster home in Texas but can be transported throughout the US or Canada. Igor is an amazing guardian dog who would love to have the job of protecting a farm/land, but also enjoys cuddles and having a family. He is the full package for a family searching for a great pyrenees to keep their property protected with a loyal pup!

Story
*This is a courtesy listing for a dog available through The Animal Pad.* Meet Shelby! 2-year-old Shelby is a sweet, silly Great Pyrenees mix who is the best of both worlds! She adores her humans, kids, and -her pooch pack. When it's time to turn the energy up she's a fun, playful girl. However, once it's time to mellow out she's pawfectly content lounging and relaxing at home. She's lovable and loyal through and through! Shelby's happy place is with her family. She loves playing with her furry pals and cuddling with the kids. She adores being outside, her toys, and getting out for walks. Like any good girl, she is also a big fan of her beauty rest. This sweet girl was born with a condition that led to urinary incontinence. This may have been the end of her road, but The Animal Pad (TAP) could see how special she is and stepped up to rescue her. She has undergone multiple procedures with TAP and is now ready to find a family of her own! She is house and bathroom trained and wears diapers when needed to help with any dribbling. Shelby is a smart cookie who is crate-trained and does well on the leash. She adores her pack but may be hesitant or a bit vocal around new friends and unusual sounds. Once she knows the coast is clear, she warms right up! Since Shelby is such a sweetheart, she would do well in a variety of homes. She would love other pups she can play with or go out for doggy playdates. She likes to chase cats, so they probably wouldn't be the best roommates. Shelby needs a loving human who is dedicated to her long-term care. She promises to love you for the long haul! Special needs: Shelby will need monitoring with an established vet for her long-term urinary care. Adoption fee: $350 To learn more about Shelby, please contact The Animal Pad at: https://theanimalpad.org/contact/ To apply to adopt Shelby, go to: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/ *Frosted Faces Foundation has not assessed this dog medically or behaviorally.*

How this pet arrived: Claude was brought in by his previous owner. At SDHS:Claude has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Claude, an adult dog with a loving and gentle demeanor. Do to his size and exuberance, we do not recommend that he be placed in a home with young kids (under 12). We also think Claude will be happiest as the only pet in the home. Claude enjoys the simple things in life; a cozy spot to nap, a gentle hand to pet him, and a calm voice to reassure him. Claude is a friendly giant! If you would like to meet Claude, bring a leash and collar and visit our Escondido Campus.Dog Reactive Dog:  This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS VIDEO to learn more about them.Shy/Fearful Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS VIDEO to learn more about them.SPONSORED FEEGreat news! Claude had a secret admirer that has sponsored his adoption fee! This means that the adoption fee has already been paid for by someone who wants to help this Claude find a cherished home.
