Story
How this pet arrived: Thor was brought in by their previous owner. Why Thor might be the one for you:Thor is a big fluffy dog that makes you want to hug him and Thor wants to be hugged. Thor is very social. He wants people to play with him. He can get goofy as he play bows to you as he says "play with me". He likes to play in the water and run. However, inside he is mellow and almost lazy. With Thor, you get two dogs - outside he is all play and action but inside he is chill and loves his naps. His beautiful white fur coat will want lots of brushing and Thor will want lots of pets while being brushed. Thor does not want any cats in his world - just does not like them. He is big and can be clumsy so little kids may not do well with Thor. Do you want a really huggable dog who will cuddle next to you for a good snooze? Do you want a companion for hikes and action? Thor will be happy to oblige both. At SDHS:Thor has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed neutered. Thor is now ready for their new home! Primary Color: White Weight: 75.0625 Age: 3yrs 3mths 1wks

Your Big Fluffy Gentle Giant! River is a 1.5-year-young, 112 pound male Great Pyrenees with a heart as soft as his beautiful white coat. This sweet boy adores people, kids, and other dogs, and would thrive in a home that understands and loves the wonderful quirks of a big, fluffy guardian breed. River is hoping for a home with space to roam, explore, and sunbathe, his absolute favorite pastime. He’d also be thrilled to have a dog companion his size to play and ruffle with, though it's not required. He’s leash trained, potty trained, and kennel trained, and he already knows sit and has great recall. River is affectionate, social, and always ready for pets, cuddles, or simply lounging near his people. River would be a perfect match for an owner or family with large-breed experience who’s ready for a loyal, loving, playful giant. If you’re looking for a gentle companion with a goofy, loving spirit, River is your boy. He is up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.
