Great Pyrenees Mixed Puppies: Fed Raw Diet; Naturally Reared; Five months old
We are seeking aligned folks to provide five naturally reared puppies a home, companionship, family, space, and purpose. We have five Great Pyrenees mixed pups seeking their forever homes, four male and one female.
Unplanned, yet dearly loved.
Born December 25th, 2025. Five months old as of May 25th, 2026.
Naturally Reared.
Holistically dewormed.
Holistic & herbal pest prevention.
Weighed between 38 (female) and 40-46 (males) lbs at five months.
Birthed in an inside environment and developed through their milk-worm stage supported and supervised inside.
Exclusively in their den/outside since four weeks of age.
Self-trained to eliminate (urinate/pass bowel movements) outside and wait to defecate on a walk immediately following a meal since five weeks of age.
Trained on off-lead whistle recall on walks since five weeks. Good recall with us.
Raised alongside adult dogs, an adult cat, sheep and lambs; accustomed to select visiting friends/family.
Exposed to livestock: sheep and lambs.
Trained on electric fencing/netting.
Some pups are demonstrating good instincts for full-time livestock/property guardianship. Some pups are very human oriented and we believe would be wonderful companions/home guardians.
Diet:
Fed Raw Whole Food Diet
Fully weaned as of nine weeks.
Introduced raw milk between four/five weeks, slowly added in grains and herbal powders to make it into a gruel. Began feeding raw meat 80% muscle, 10% bone, 10% organs between 5-6 weeks old for evening meals. The pups were fed four times a day, at 8:00,12:00,16:00, 20:00 with allocated feeding amounts based on x2 litter weight into 10% body weight until they were four months. We have transitioned to three times a day since four months old and will continue to do so until 7 months old when they can be shifted into 2x per day.
Genetics:
Dam; Misty: mixed, 5 years old; companion animal & active property guardian. We believe she is a livestock guardian mix; told by human owners of her mother that they believed her sire was a Great Pyrenees, her mother is a mix from Blackfeet reservation in Montana; unknown genetics, appearance of Anatolian Pyrenees mix. Vocally repels. Protective yet will only respond to provocation, will not instigate. Regularly interacts with and runs off birds, coyotes, bobcats, raccoons. Exposed to chickens, sheep and goats at 1-year, frequent interaction in & out of paddocks since. Electric fence/net trained. Strong mother instincts. Wonderful with newborn and young lambs/kids. Kind, protective and non-threatening to ruminants; will protect isolated young lambs and/or those who are injured/sick.
Sire; Bear: great Pyrenees stud 5 years old; lives with and protects a mixed flerd of goats and sheep on range year-round, traversing hundreds of acres of mixed grasslands, chaparral and woodlands. Electric fence/net trained. Regularly interacts with singular/packs of coyotes and has run off mountain lions. Aware of and will run off birds of prey.
This is our first time tending a litter of pups. We are not breeders. We are shepherds working alongside our four-legged kin each day. This has been a beautiful invitation to be present in each moment, a joyful blur of time passing, as well as a great deal of investment and labor on our end every day.
We need to rehome them before they eat us out of house and home ;-).
