Shasta was initially very shy when he came into our care, but with time, patience and a gentle approach, he is beginning to come out of his shell and share his affectionate personality. He enjoys receiving pets and attention from familiar faces and engaging in enrichment activities and positive reinforcement training exercises. Shasta is still learning to feel comfortable in new situations, so he'll need a calm and understanding home that can continue helping him build confidence. He will thrive best in a home without the hustle and bustle of young children (under 8), but he has had positive interactions with other dogs in our care and may get along well with a canine companion. Once nursed to health, Igor traveled up to Texas to his foster home!
