Story
Bear needs a new home 🤍 he’s a 17 month old Great Pyrenees. He’s been recently neutered (fully recovered). He’s healthy. Microchipped. He needs a decent sized yard to play in. Great with kids and animals. We allowed allowed a third dog and it’s been too much for us. We love him and it’s a hard decision, but it will be best.

Story
Burt was rescued from the pound where he was stuck in a 8x8 area. We couldn't help but be instantly connected to him as he was so angelic. He's a very sweet young man and a total fluffball! Great Pyrenees, by breed, are well mannered, devoted, and calm. The breed originally comes from the France side of the Pyrenees mountains that separate France and Spain as a livestock guardian dog protecting livestock from predators such as coyotes, bears, and wolves. The Great Pyrenees is an ancient breed with origins dating back to 1800 B.C.! Great Pyrenees are majestic dogs with strong bodies, broad chests, muscular shoulders and thighs, and rounded, close-cupped, feet with well-padded toes. Their coats are are dirt and tangle resistant which would only require minimum grooming. Let us know if you would like to set up a meet and greet today!

Story
Meet Tundra! She came to us with a severely infected leg we sadly could not save but she is navigating life well on three legs. She is around 2 years old and we believe she is a Great Pyrenees mix, maybe with Lab. She is a very sweet girl that loves her people. She enjoys going for walks and getting brushed. She is housetrained and crate trained in her current foster home. Tundra is food motivated, which makes training easier. She takes treats very gently and is good around kids. She is less sure around other dogs and true to her breed, would be happiest as the only dog in the home but is okay with other dogs outside of the home once she has a calm, patient introduction to them. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Tundra, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Forever Home Wanted: Meet Oso!! Oso is a stunning, 2.5 year old Great Pyrenees who was surrendered to us when his family was going through a tough patch and could no longer keep him. He is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly with proper introductions and is a total love. Oso is good on the leash, okay in the car and house trained. As a livestock guardian breed, Oso does herd people, needs a yard and daily exercise and does have a loud bark he uses. Thus he would not do well in an apartment type setting or a home with very small children. Email labradorsandfriends@yahoo.com or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org. Oso is located in Southern California.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 30, 2023, 6:47 am
