Story
Hello this is Gigi, she is a sweet Great Pyrenees and Anatolian mix that is approximately 3 years old. We got Gigi about 2 years ago when we bought our home (The previous owners did not give us any information in regards to vaccine records). The previous owners stated they were not able to take their dogs with them and could not find a good place for them, therefore we decided to take the dogs in. We already had 3 small dogs coming into buying the house and unfortunately they are currently not getting along, and are afraid they might hurt one another. We also have a male dog named Jax (he is a border collie mix, and about the same age as Gigi), who Gigi grew up with, so we would love for them to stay together—as this is already a very sad decision we have had to come to.

Story
How this pet arrived: Pickles was brought in by his previous owner on August 16, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Pickles is a smart cookie wrapped in a fluffy package - and just like his name, he's got a little tang! This clever boy can be shy when meeting new people and prefers a slow, gentle introduction. He's not a fan of too much handling or sharing his favorite snacks, so he's hoping to find a calm, lower-traffic home where he can feel secure. Pickles can be vocal around new people and other dogs, so he'd do best in a home without small children (ages 12+ only, and they must be present for the meet-and-greet). He's also quite selective with canine friends and would likely thrive as the only dog in the household. If there's a potential dog roommate, a meet-and-greet at the shelter will be required. Once Pickles feels safe and comfortable, his true personality shines - playful, active, and incredibly bright! He loves mental challenges and will excel in a home that can keep his mind busy with games, training, and positive reinforcement. Pickles is used to spending more time outdoors, so a secure yard would help him adjust to home life. With patience, consistency, and understanding, he'll reward you with his loyalty, affection, and one-of-a-kind charm. If you're looking for a brainy, unique companion who just needs a little time and love to blossom, Pickles At SDHS:Pickles has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Pickles is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 74.8 Age: 2yrs 6mths 2wks

Marshmallow is as sweet and fluffy as her name implies!! We believe she may be a Great Pyrenees x Golden Retriever mix. She is a young puppy and will require someone who is available to help her grow into adulthood. GP's are amazing breeds but do also require someone knowledgeable on their personality and characteristics to ensure Marshmallow goes to a home who appreciates all that she is and has to offer! ##2572694##
