Meet Igor! He was found skin and bones wandering around in the streets. He was taken in by an individual rescuer. He is currently in a temporary foster home in Texas but can be transported throughout the US or Canada. Igor is an amazing guardian dog who would love to have the job of protecting a farm/land, but also enjoys cuddles and having a family. He is the full package for a family searching for a great pyrenees to keep their property protected with a loyal pup!

Story
We adopted Marshie from our neighbors, and she is three years old now, born January 12, 2021. She has been spayed, her shots are up to date, and she is house-trained, but not crate trained. She is very affectionate, she'll sleep/cuddle with you and give you a million kisses when she gets excited to see you. She needs an experienced owner who will understand the characteristics of her breed: she barks mainly during the night, to protect against potential predators. She can be protective, as she resource guards her toys, but she does not guard her food and is okay with being around others while eating. Our main concern is that she, sadly, bit someone in the past. Our house was under construction which was stressful for Marshie who wasn't used to the commotion & strangers being in her home. Following her instincts, she bit one of the workers, which didn't need stitches. She is only protective in her territory. Marshie needs a loving, understanding, & structured home where she can thrive.

Story
Location Southern California. Transports available, short & long distance. Inquire for details. (If this ad is running the dog is available.) IMPORTANT! Please check your Spam/Junk folder periodically for replies. Little Bear is a good looking gentle Great Pyrenees mix boy. He is not large. Only at about 50 lbs medium size with soft GP fur and he loooves to roll over for belly rubs. Little Bear was rescued on his last day of life from a high kill shelter where he was abandoned by his owners after years of neglect and not paying any attention to him. He was scheduled to be euthanized after he caught kennel cough at the shelter when we drove 6 hours to his rescue. He soon has become a favorite at our facility being affectionate and people oriented. Little Bear is med age, possibly 6 years old or so. He is very active and likes a good run around. Very youthful, active and full of life. He doesn’t seem to have many GP tendencies and acts more like an indoor lounger. So if you have livestock he may not be a good candidate as a working dog :) He is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed. Very healthy with no known medical issues and is very agile and active.. Had recent dental cleaning. Little Bear would do best in a home with no other large male dogs. Cats, compatibility unknown. He doesn’t mind smaller pups. He has no agenda towards them. Calm on leash. Needs a boost to go up into the car but can possibly train with treats. He needs a place in a quiet location with some secure yard space where he can go potty and lounge. Fencing at 5 ft height minimum. No apartments please. Experienced with large breeds adopter. Little Bear would make a great companion dog for an adult or a couple. Might be too laid back for a family with kids. He has an overall kind demeanor and liked by everyone who meets him. We offer foster to adopt programs if you need time to decide if it’s the right dog for your home. Transports are available, short and long distance out of state. Inquire. We will not transport dogs however if you have other pets on property without prior introduction. Swiper, a neutered white and black Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix, is living proof that gentlemanly dogs sometimes wear a size XL! From the moment you meet this handsome, calm soul with striking blue eyes, your blood pressure will drop because when you're near Swiper, you can't help but feel the calming energy that he puts out into the universe. This polite and respectful fellow is relaxed and very easy-going around people. He walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, knows several doggie commands, and does all that he can to stay house-trained despite living in a shelter kennel. Swiper loves to get and give affection, but that doesn't mean he constantly needs attention; he sometimes appreciates having some time to himself to play with toys, rest and relax, and daydream. In addition to being house-trained, he is up to date on vaccinations, weighs 93 lbs., and is three years old. If you're looking to add a calm, kind, affectionate, and gentle spirit to your family, Swiper is waiting for you. You can meet Swiper at the San Diego County Animal Shelter North Campus, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011. Swiper is available for adoption or foster. Story
This is a courtesy listing, not a SPOT Rescue dog. For more information regarding he, contact Gina below... Looking to rehome our sweet and cuddly 4 year old dog as he doesn't do well with small children. We have learned this the hard way after he bit our 11 month old pretty bad on the face, resulting in ER stitch sites. He is easy to train and although we could likely work with him, we don't feel comfortable keeping him as we grow our family. The incident was considered provoked, he does great with older children and doesn't have any other history of biting. He's very sweet, affectionate, gentle and silly. He loves getting belly rubs and nuzzling into you to snuggle. He's known to offer silly toothy grins when happy and enjoys praise and affection. He lights up on walks halfway through to boop you with his nose and get pets to say how happy he is. He enjoys walks, going hiking, sniffing around the yard, sunbathing, catching balls and playing fetch in the ocean. His favorite toys are balls and squeaky stuffed animals (the more squeakers, the better!) Like most dogs, he needs regular exercise to stay happy and not fall into boredom but doesn't require anything crazy. We've always done daily walks with him (long or short) and if you do a hike or big excursion it will tire him out for a couple days. He's not destructive (even if he doesn't get exercise) and is pretty laid back. He usually lounges around the house all day or stays in the yard. He has completed 1:1 obedience training and passed with flying colors. We also worked with him on his strong prey drive where he'd want to chase bikers or runners. This is easily kept in check and we had no issues with him after the training. We also did off leash shock collar training. No issues with barking and he's friendly to other people. He is neutered and completely potty trained. He currently lives with our 15 year old beagle and they get along and mostly just ignore each other. Serious inquiries only please! Asking $200 adoption fee. Gina at gina.domenichetti@gmail.com
