Makita is a sweet 8 year old husky. I have had her since she was a pup, but unfortunately she does not like small children. With a 2 year old one twin baby boys, I can no longer keep her. She would do best in a single dog home. Huskies have a lot of energy, and she enjoys a back yard where she can run around.

Story

Here she is, our mix of Husky and Aussie Shepherd named Saffron.  Now 10 months old, she wears an exquisite long, wavy coat of black, white, and brown.  And her eyes? Blue, of course!  She has medium-high energy with some Aussie characteristics which reflect her love of play.  She also enjoys going for walks and playing with toys.  Saffron was surrendered to the kill shelter because her owner became ill and could no longer take care of her.  Such a shame!  This is a girl who greatly enjoys being around people, but she would rather be the only pet in the house.  When we brought her out of the shelter and into rescue with us, we promised Saffron that we would find her another wonderful home.  Could that be yours?  (ME, 11/18/23)  (revised 3/11/24) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption/ Transport $250.00April 27, 2024, 11:07 pm

Presenting our “H” litter of three, Hudson, Holden, and their sister, Harmony.  A mix of Husky and Lab, these siblings weigh about 25 pounds and will mature to between 60 and 70 pounds.  Their coats are short and shiny black and white, or, as in Harmony’s case, black, and they are so sweet looking! He is very sweet and playful, and is very friendly with other dogs. He's more than just a rescue pet, he's a friend waiting to share countless memories! 🖤SHILOH🐾 Gentle, handsome, senior husky 🐕 After years of neglect, he’s safe in rescue & getting the care he deserves. We were told that he formally belonged to a neighbor who used to keep him on a chain and never let him in. But recently he had let him go and said he did not want him anymore. Probably because, Shiloh had a tumor growing on his underside and he did not want to be responsible. He has finished his antibiotics and steroids, and the tumor has been removed. The good news is …. It isn’t cancerous!!! And his heart and lungs, and all other x-rays were clear 🖤 True to his breed, he is vocal and full of adorable personality. He greets every human with a soft “awoooo” and lots of cuteness😍 Good with other dogs, but doesn’t need any in his forever home. He’s a bit of a loner. 🤣 In search of a yard to sunbathe in, snacks & pets from people that love him, and the opportunity to live out his golden years how he deserves 💕 If you’re interested in adopting a settled, senior boy, please consider welcoming Shiloh into your home! 🌞Myra Miss Myra is the best girl ever! She is a two year old Husky/Lab mix that weighs around 50 pounds. Myra was pulled from a shelter after being there for nine months. She has thrived in her foster home and has become her foster moms shadow. Myra is great with all the other dogs in the home and enjoys running and playing with them. Her foster mom says Myra is like a running back with the other pups , always dodging or jumping over them in true Husky fashion 🤗 Myra is a smart cookie, she is house trained and does great being left inside with no accidents or destructive behaviors. Myra sleeps in her fosters room at night alternating between the bed or her dog bed. She is a quiet, respectful girl. Myra loves her daily walks and is awesome on leash. She enjoys spending this special time with her people and her foster mom feels this is the highlight of her day. 💜 Myra thinks balls are great and always seems to have one close by just in case someone decides to play. Myra can be a bit shy when she first meets new people but once she gets to know you she is excited to get to know you better. Myra would be a wonderful companion or family dog in a home with older children. Myra is an absolute love and pretty perfect.
