Story
A goofy kinda fella, Ranger is a 5-month-old Husky/Retriever mix who weighs 30 pounds and will mature to at least 60. Ranger is a loving boy who frisks around the play yard with his many canine friends and loves playing with toys. Quite vocal, he’ll be happy to call you for an invitation to play! Handsome, smart and friendly, what more could you ask? Story
Dixie is a 1-year-old, 50 lb. Husky who is, quite honestly, a Husky through and through! Before coming to the shelter, Dixie spent weeks keeping our Animal Control Officer on his toes. Every time he thought he had her figured out, Dixie had other plans! She managed to elude him every chance she got, turning her capture into quite the adventure. And honestly? We're pretty sure Dixie thought the whole thing was a game. That’s Dixie — smart, sassy, spunky, curious, and always ready to keep you guessing. She's got the classic Husky personality and intelligence, which means she's not just looking for a couch to nap on all day. Dixie will thrive with someone who enjoys an active, clever dog and is ready to give her plenty of exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to use that busy brain. Dixie LOVES to tell you exactly what she's thinking. She's got plenty to say and isn't shy about sharing her opinions! Her Husky 'conversations' are just part of the charm. But Dixie isn't all sass and mischief. She's also a great walking companion and does well on a leash. She's social with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. Dixie would be a great match for someone who loves the Husky breed and understands that they're smart, energetic, independent, vocal, and endlessly entertaining.  (9/13/26)   Adoption/Transport Fee:  $300.00 'You can learn more about our Hope Dog program here: https://www.crossingpathsanimalrescue.org/adopt/hope-dogs .'September 19, 2026, 4:20 pm

Story
Jenna Age: 6 months Breed: Sex: Female Size: 33 lb Status: Available Jenna is a 6-month-old Husky who has spent most of her young life as a stray. She has never really known what it feels like to have a family, and now she’s hoping someone will come along and show her just how wonderful it is to be loved. Jenna can be shy and unsure at first, so she’ll need a patient family willing to continue working with her and help build her confidence. She doesn’t mind other dogs and would love a family who understands the Husky breed and knows how to help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. But don't let that shy face fool you! Those Husky instincts are definitely in there. Once Jenna gets comfortable, her playful and mischievous side starts to peek through. She'll need plenty of exercise, enrichment, training, and positive guidance to keep that clever Husky brain busy. Jenna is still just a puppy, and with the right family, we know she can shine. Story
Claudia is a 2-year-old, 56-pound Husky mix with an award-winning personality! She came to us at rescue with a large cut on her inner thigh that had to be sutured, but that hasn’t slowed her down. (She’s almost completely healed!) She’s super sweet, playful, energetic, and vocal. She also loves belly rubs and knows how to sit! Great girl!!!
